Parking available. Paved, smooth trail. Stroller friendly. There are natural surface paths you can take also thruout.

This trail has enough people on it or nearby where it isn't as intimidating as other more private trails can be. Its nice to go by the river.

Great hiking trails, good views looking down over the river. Great for sledding too, if you're here in the winter! The birds and squirrels are a treat too. We saw a bunch of different birds all hanging out together, right next to a lil squirrel.

Gorgeous old growth forest with a good combination of natural trails and manufactured bike trails. Gorgeous cast iron bridges, streams, benches by the DuPage River. Not to mention the other amenities.

Beautiful preserve with many walking paths along the DuPage River. Pets are welcome 🐕

Review is for the river access. They really did a nice job removing the dam. (It had a great portage to begin with) You now can park and access the river from the parkin lot. No need to lug you rear to the dam. Nice curves cement walk to the river. Some step stones for fisherman. Water levels are low everywhere, but removal of the dam I do not think made a huge difference (2021)

Nice place to walk. Trails are clean, woods are nice and they have a bat house for “bat watching”.

Great park, great place to walk, run or hike! I enjoyed a fun run here and will definitely be back! Great opportunities to take pictures and explore! There is also a dog park just on the other side too that is nice if you have a dog!

Great trails. Lovely views of both the forest and water. Ample parking. Fun place to go for a hike or picnic.
