The Nurse Practitioner ā€œGbemisola Alliā€ who works in Internal Medicine is incredibly abrasive and unprofessional. I have been on one blood pressure medication for two months and she asked me if I want to be on it for the rest of my life. I had ear pain and she accused me twice of digging in my ear although I explained to her I had not done so. She then diagnosed it as a possible ear infection and put me on a Z pack. I asked if she thought the Z pack was necessary because I had just been on it two months ago and she disagreed with me and told me she does not see that in the system. Then she finally found it in the system and realized I was correct. She also asked me in a rude manner ā€œAre you OK because youā€™re sweating a lot?ā€ I told her some people sweat more than others, I am sure you know that, as a nurse. She was incredibly immature and rude. It was almost shocking. There is a lot of discussion on how during the pandemic people have become more rude to employees in the service industry and in the medical field but I must say instead this is one instance where a patient was kind and polite and was treated very poorly by a medical ā€œprofessional.ā€

The most unaccommodating medical office. Theyā€™ve forgotten that we are clients and for $24,000 a year in health insurance we deserve- service. Serviceā€¦Including same day responses (lucky if you get a call back),same day appointments, access to Dr for questions 7 days a week & short phone wait times. The office including the Drā€™s are overworked, stressed out, and bound to their checklist and factory grind of-in order to meet patient quotaā€¦.They instinctively say NO to any request instead of finding a way to serve the client. I had a Dr appointment and because of covid I wanted to wait in my car until the Dr was ready to see me. The nurse refused to give me a call- it was too inconvenient. She told me I had to just come inā€¦.this is just one of many examples as Iā€™ve been a client for 20 yearsā€¦it hasnā€™t always been this way

Not a fan of Summit Medical Group Short Hills office. My primary care physician of 25+ years has an office here & he is wonderful, but his office staff sadly is not. There has not been a single visit when I have not waited to see him. And by waiting - I mean waiting upwards of 1.5 hours. Everything is grossly backed up in this office. I think they double and triple book all their patients. I have since left this practice and am seeing a physician with Atlantic Health, where I have never waited and am treated with respect and courtesy by the office staff.

Very! Very! Upset about the service at the Summit Medical in Short Hills. God forbid a sick patient is running late due to detours (not patientā€™s) fault. Youā€™re turned away, this inhumane and cruel . They show no empathy or emotion it is bad. When you have an appointment youā€™re sitting waiting and waiting and because of an unavoidable situation like a detoured your turned away. Say no more Iā€™ll be looking for a new place.

Horrible experience with a horrible bunch of schedulers at this office who act like royalty hanging up phones. Been a customer of summit medical for years but will never visit this joke of an office because of the horrible people they employ in their front office.

I have been going to the short hills office for my son for the last 4 years and my experience thus far has been pleasant. Sometimes if I call in for a sick visit I may not be able to see his primary doctor, but they have helped me in getting to see a doctor the same day. There were times when they kind of squeezed us in too. Our doctor is also very calm and always explained things in simple ways to us.

Moved to NJ recently and needed a new care provider as Thereā€™s no advantage care here, stumbled upon Summit health and decided to give it a try. Met with Dr Gbemisola Alli and I must say she has to be the best doctor I ever met, after my first visit with her myself and my wife decided we wanted her to be our family primary care. Her attention to detail is second to none, she ensured I was very comfortable and reassured me that I was going to me fine. Iā€™ve been there 3 times and every time, I left feeling assured that I was in safe hands. I would recommend her to anyone.
