Greeted when you walk in. Coffee & water available. My stylist, Paula, gave me the perfect cut, color, highlights and style. She listens & makes you look & feel great! You can trust her to make the right decisions with your hair. Definitely recommend. Will go back again & again.

Well, had a really strange experience here and waited to review so it wasn't emotionally driven. I was assigned their new stylist and she snapped at me verbally during the cut, which was extremely short in duration as I was asking for something very simple tweaked on an existing haircut. Anyway after she literally raised her voice at me, she gave me the cut for no charge and I left. That's what happened. No more, no less. I'd say ask for anyone but the "new girl."

I love it when you walk into a place and you feel comfortable and welcome. Bright, open, well lit salon. It was my mom's first haircut since she moved to VA. She has mobility issues, and Cindy was very accommodating and comfortable helping my mom. Beautiful hair cut, and blow dry. I made the appointment for my mom because it is near her new home. I think I will make an appointment for myself, I like the way the stylist communicate w each other, you can tell they respect and enjoy working together.

There is a reason this place has 5 stars out of so many reviews. It. Is. Amazing. The stylists are so skilled and so friendly. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming, and calming. I love the music they play. I came in wanting rainbow hair and Kristina delivered. I absolutely love it. I have never done anything like this to my hair and I was really nervous but I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be back and would suggest this salon and Kristina to everyone.

They do excellent work. The hair stylists Kimberly is very good and takes the time to discuss what your preferences are. She does a great job. I am definitely going to her from now on. I recommend her.

I see Cyndi. It's my 2nd time this year(ever at Glaze)and I get partial highlights-NO glaze or its orange-and she is very good at both highlights and patience when I want a little more cut here or there. Great cut/stylist. My experience has been that she just wants you to get it the way YOU want it. Very happy. Plan to keep going indefinitely for Cyndi. (BTW, got glaze automatically 1st time and when I called to see Cyndi to see if we could correct the orange, I made an appt for like 2 days later; hung up, and phone rang, owner himself calling. Well handled. Never, EVER had an owner call much less IMMEDIATELY.)

Charged for balayage but got blonde highlights. I specifically said I didn’t want obvious blonde or the color at my part - the rest was up to her and I got exactly what I didn’t want. Color can be changed & maybe I wasn’t clear? buttt my hair is insanely damaged! Over processed & such tiny tiny pieces were put in the foils that it’s broken everywhere not just at my part/front. I don’t even know what to say, it’s really obvious because it’s blonde…. I am embarrassed by it, Looks like I tried to do it myself or have massive damage from hot tools. Haven’t used heat on my hair in 4 years- yes 4 years I let it air dry and it gets a natural wave. I have never had my hair come out like this before with any coloring. It feels terrible, so dry & frizzy with pieces smaller than bangs. damaged ends poking out and some missing hair. First time here ….. Stylist was very very nice though & I had intended to stick with her but It’s going to take weeks to rehab my hair. Didn’t notice any pieces at salon but I didn’t look up close in the mirror. The flyaways are becoming more and more apparent. what is there to do but condition & mask & wait for it to grow back. just an fyi to anyone getting color to have them check it more often because no one wants to pay for their hair to be in worse condition than when they went in.

This is my second time going to this salon and I love it! I see Emily, she does an amazing job! She knows exactly what to do and makes sure I’m pleased before I leave. I will definitely be returning to this salon for a long time!!! If you want beautiful hair, GO HERE
