If you are driving down Cox road through Three Chopt road, I am sure you have seen Grapevine at the corner of the intersection. It has become a Richmomd landmark in past 20 plus years. This family owned restaurant is well managed and operated; they take pride in their business. For a restaurant been there over 20 years, the dining room is very clean and tastefully decorated. They also offer outdoor seating. Large menu selections make everyone happy, sometimes it is difficult to decide what to order. Don’t worry, your friendly waitress Morgan will be at your rescue. She is so sweet and knowledgeable with the menu. Oh, make sure you save room for dessert. If you are in the mood for Italian or Greek food, or looking for a place for a special occasion, or a large gathering, I highly recommend the Grapevine.

Awesome Awesome Awesome experience! We wanted to go somewhere for a romantic dinner . Found this place close to our hotel. The staff greeted us. While they were getting our table together, every staff member asked if we had been helped. We set in the patio area which was dimly lighted giving a soft romantic ambiance. Our server Danielle was wonderful. She was attentive, very friendly, n gave suggestions. The food was delicious and plentiful. We got Cesar salad , chicken Parmigiano, n veal marsala. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return !!!

Wow! Where to begin!! First off I was looking for spumoni for my mother who hasn’t been able to find it and she’s been talking about it for about 2 years. Through searching I found it on their menu! So my mom came to visit from NY for thanksgiving so tonight I decided to take her. This was mine and her first time at Grapevine. What a beautiful restaurant! Inside and out! Very warm and welcoming. The staff is incredible! From being seated to the waitress Mandy (I believe) fantastic! A lovely lady complimented my makeup and was so sweet!! There’s an appetizer that they have with a flame and the whole staff yells OPA! They don’t seem annoyed at this and thoroughly enjoy it! We tried the boom boom shrimp which was to DIE FOR! If you don’t like a lot of spice I suggest the sauce on the side. I ordered a white pizza with broccoli and it was amazing! The crust was great! My mother ordered the meat lasagna and wow! The serving sizes are massive and the quality was fantastic! She got coffee that she said was strong and good, her spumoni and I got a dessert with honey and custard (not sure the name) it was wonderful! The entire experience was phenomenal. I spoke with the manager who was so nice because they’re doing such an incredible job! In this day and age it’s been so hard to find a restaurant with workers who seem to actually enjoy being there and interacting with guests and each other. Just wow!! I will be returning with my fiancé and his parents! This will be our new date spot for sure! Thank you again for a wonderful experience! So happy my mom was here to enjoy this!! Wishing this business all the success!

We were there celebrating my sister's birthday. It was a group of 21 people and we received the best service I've ever had. Everyone was extremely nice. The manager checked on us several times. The waitstaff gave us exceptional service. The food was good and the price even better. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and highly recommend them.

We rented a room for a Rehearsal Dinner with 30 people. Everything was wonderful. Rita, our server, did a great job and took care of my requests quickly. Everyone enjoyed the various dishes we had. Couldn't have been a nicer experience.

We went to Grapevine Greek & Italian Restaurant and we were very pleasantly surprised! The food, service, cleanliness, and decor were superb, but it doesn't stop there. The ambiance is unmatched! One of the owners, Mitchell, came to our table with a warm welcome assuring us of a wonderful experience. I was amazed by his ability to make everyone feel special guests with his warmth and attention to detail. Dennis Coleman serenaded the audience with a wonderful selection of music. I was enamoured by his perfect falsetto voice. It was heavenly! On a scale of one to five, I give them a six! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food is good, but not the best. The waitress was friendly but she kept coming to our table and asking if we need box while we were still working on our lunch! This was kinda annoying! And when we finished our main course, she brought the receipts right away without asking if we’d like to have some dessert!

Service was wonderful. Food was great! Had the spanakopita appetizer and probably the best I have had. Husband had tenderloin skewers and they were very good. Delightful dinner. We will be back when traveling to the area again. A nice reasonably priced find that surprised us.

If you ever get a chance to check out this family owned restaurant please do and get the sampler for your appetizer, you will not be disappointed! The hummus is to die for! Also for dessert 100% recommend the baklava cheesecake it was so creamy and refreshing! 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone that lives or is visiting the area! Thank you grapevine!

Lunch today at Grapevine with my mom and younger brother. I feel like the Greeks are masters at making many foods delicious. I was excited to try this restaurant for my first time. Arrived at 12:30 pm, not yet crowded but getting busy. Offered seating on veranda or inside, chose inside. Seated without any wait. Servers were extremely friendly. Ordered the Grapevine combo platter as appetizer. Hummus, spanakopita, tiropita, and dolmades were fresh and delicious. I love when the dolmades are warm, I think they have a better flavor than when cold. Also loved the topping on the humus. Very flavorful. For entrees, we ordered a bowl of the Chicken lemon soup, white 10” pizza, eggplant parmigiana, and a medium sized Greek salad. My mom declared that the chicken lemon soup was a standout, better than any other she has tried so far in this area. The eggplant parmigiana had a delicious tangy marinara sauce that was the star of the dish. I am very partial to traditional Greek salads. As a child I grew up eating at Nicks Seafood Pavilion in Yorktown, VA so all Greek salads are measured against that standard. The Grapevine Greek salad met the challenge, very traditional and well balanced. The white pizza was lovely with a well balanced garlic flavor. For desert, we ordered the galaktoboureko, which was delicious. Overall this was a great experience, I will return again to try more entrees.

WOW, that's all I can say. My GF and I tried to eat here some months back while visiting, but they were closed...so glad my colleague noted he wanted Grrek Cuisine. Apps were delicious and fresh, main courses were fantastic, and the service was perfect...Highly Highly recommended!! Atmosphere was 4☆ only due to loud groups, but they were enjoying themselves too. Bon Appétit!

Last Saturday night we had a big family dinner at The Grapevine to celebrate my wife's 65th birthday. I coordinated with Alyssa to make the arrangements and we had a terrific celebration. Juan and the rest of the staff who served us were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. Our group ranged in age from 4 to 73 and we were all very comfortable and had a great time together. I will definitely go back to try some of the other dishes from the menu and recommend The Grapevine for dinners for large groups.

Enjoyed an exceptional lunch here. The music was a little loud for lunch, but it definitely suits the vib. Having enjoyed amazing Greek and Italian food from NY to West Coast - our experience here topped them all. The Spanakopita melted orgasmically in your mouth - everything was fresh and perfectly cooked.

Last night we had a big family event here. They have private rooms that you can reserve for your parties, so we were able to close the door and not disrupt anyone's meal, being such a large group. We were there at 5:30 and the restaurant was very busy, but the staff were on top of all of it. We had a predetermined menu and we chose our entrees. Due to that, I don't know what their price points are but it was a very nice dinner. We got an appetizer platter to share at each table that had a bunch of different foods on it, including dolmades and hummus with pita. The dolmades were some of the best I've had. They weren't overly sour like some I've had. For the entree, I got the fettuccine Alfredo. Everything was seasoned beautifully and there was just the right amount of sauce. I feel like I've gone places that have larger plates, but it was really good. The necklace baklava had an amazing flavor! It was such a huge piece too. I got the heart of the Mediterranean cocktail to drink and it was very delicious. Not too sweet, not too sour. I would absolutely come back again when I'm on this side of town. The lights are dimmed so it has a nice calming energy and the staff are very friendly. One of the owners was at our table checking on us and refilling our waters. Definitely a great Mediterranean cuisine spot!

Great Greek-Italian place! Our server Maggie, was extremely friendly and helpful. We received our food relatively quickly, and everything looked and tasted amazing. Staff were also very accommodating to my disability and food allergies as well. 10/10, we will be returning.

It was a wonderful dinner while staying in the area. The staff was friendly. Waited awhile for the bread but when it came out, it was worth the wait. Nice warm rolls. My dinner came with a salad which was nice . I had delicious moussaka! I also had a dessert that the waitress recommended and it was soooooo good. It was some kind of custard, honey and a flaky dough on top. You must get it!! Definitely go here to eat!!

Good but not great... The calamari is a decent portion though pretty salty. The person I was with forgot to ask for the salmon cooked a certain way, but they were still happy enough with what they got. Eggplant parmesan was odd, the cheese and eggplant were there but also along with a lot of pasta so maybe that took away from the eggplant portion, but it wasn't exactly "popping" with eggplant flavor. Maybe it was the tomato sauce, definitely needs a new flavor profile because it came off very bland. Maybe a lot more basil and a couple other things to spice it up a bit. The chicken parm was better than the eggplant, unfortunately I didn't order that so only had a few bites. But other than that the server was nice and essentially just an easy sauce fix and maybe take the pasta away and add more eggplant and you got a winner! It all looks great in the pictures though!

first time going there and it was very nice.. the food was excellent. i had the moussaka and my wife had the baked spaghetti with meatsauce. both entrees come with house salad which we upgraded to greek salads. we also had calamari for our appetizer. the sauce for it appeared to be homemade. the ambiance was tasteful and relaxing. the place appeared to be very clean and the staff was very patient and professional. will go back again soon i hope.

My first visit. Very impressed! Classy atmosphere! excellent service! Food was delicious! We visited for lunch. They have a lunch menu that offered a nice variety of Italian and Greek dishes. We tried the stuffed grape leaves(dolmades) appetizer. They came out hot, not cold as I had been used to, and they were delicious, clearly handmade in the kitchen. Comes with a yummy tasziki sauce and pita wedges. For main course we tried the stuffed shells, pasticio, and gyro sandwich. The stuffed shells had a creamy cheesy filling topped with a savory marinara and melted mozzarella top. The gyro was awesome too. Very flavorful slices of gyro meat (lamb/beef) with that same awesome tasziki sauce. Came with fries. The pasticio, ziti mixed with absolutely savory seasoned ground meat topped with a creamy bachmel sauce that was both light and rich is that seems possible. It was a wonderful first visit that definitely won't be our last!

Always a wonderful time and service here and the food is so impeccable. I love their presentation and I appreciate how attentive everyone is! Every time I go, there is someone there as an owner who comes to check on you and that is so important for patrons to see that the owners do care and they care in real time. The atmosphere is always nice, classy, elegant, but not obnoxiously so and offers a great space for a girls’ night, a wedding celebration, or even just a nice evening out. I highly suggest getting their dessert! The only reason why there is four vs five stars is the parking. Almost every time we go, we have to circle the block and/or park nervously in the office lot next door. It would be great if the restaurant came to an agreement with the office landlord so that patrons can park after office hours. Always a pleasure coming here despite the parking situation though and highly recommend!

Great locally owned venue that features Greek and Italian dishes. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get pictures of food. But the serving size for the lasagna and the spaghetti and meat sauce is very generous. Plus they're served with a unique sesame dinner roll and house salad. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and thought the meat sauce was a bit strong on the tangy side. Everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy their lasagna though. Restroom: Restroom was clean. The two stalls are pretty tight in terms of space. When you're on the toilet your face is practically a foot from the stall door (at least it seems that way). They have a hand dryer and no paper towels, so I didn't like that I then had to turn the door knob to get out (I usually use a paper towel to open the bathroom door after washing hands). There are hooks in the stalls, outside of the stalls and even a table so there's plenty of options for your purse. And there is a changing station in there too but imagine it would be quite crammed in there with the table down.

Fantastic first experience at the Grapevine! I went for dinner on a Thursday night and was so impressed by the friendliness of the entire staff, from the gentleman who seated our party, to our fantastic, friendly waitress, to Marianne, who visited our table and surprised us with a free dessert to end the evening. We were seated in the glass covered outdoor area, which is beautiful and made for a perfect summer evening. The famous homemade rolls live up to the hype!! My penne a la vodka was very tasty. The climax of our culinary experience was the baklava cheesecake. So flavorful, with a crisp, honeyed baklava layer on top of delightfully creamy cheesecake, interspersed with the perfect amount of nuts for crunch. Highly recommend!
