Such a great place to eat! The wait staff was consistent, and efficient. Plus the food prices were just right, especially for the potions of food that u get. The drinks were delicious and the ambiance was a nice setup. The blind Tiger is a solid 4 ⭐'s

Hands down some of the best Cajun food I’ve had in a LONG time…. Flavorful, great menu variety, super clean restaurant. The windows are SPOTLESS. I know that’s a weird thing to include in a food review but they were ✨ ✨✨✨ Sweet cornbread is to DIE for! Omg 🤤 Sweet, buttered and THICK slices. Catfish was crispy and flaky, no belly fat- CLEAN slabs! Dirty rice 👨‍🍳 😘 Gumbo ⭐️ ✨ 💫 ⭐️ ✨ Crawfish 🦞 bites. 🤤 Our server was also fantastic. Some questionable vagrants outside and parking is limited. Get there early- there was a line waiting at 11am . 👏🏻 🐅 🕶️ 👏🏻

Good food, excellent service, reasonable prices, and generous portions sums up the experience. Gumbo was good, while the crab cakes were excellent. Centrally located in Shreveport.

This restaurant is in the old part of town in Shreveport. It’s in a nice, old building. I got the Diablo Hamburger plate with thick meaty fries and a pickle. It was loaded with jalapeños. What a great burger! I am really glad I tried it. Parking is somewhat of a problem though.

Our visit to Shreveport we wanted some Cajun food and the blind tiger was excellent. The sampler had a variety of food gumbo and meat pies were my favorite and the catfish delicious as well. When we are in town definitely a place to bring the friends when they want some good Cajun food.

Really good restaurant and really big portions. The food and the drinks were delicious. I had the blackened catfish and it was awesome. It came with 3 big fillets, fried corn on the cob, jambalaya and I got dirty rice for a dollar and some change more. The Long Island was good as well but could have been stronger. My only critique is they need to add an IPA on tap.

It is a classic Louisiana style restaurant (Positive way). The ambiance was a good vibe with very good service. We were in an out in about 1 hour total. I would highly recommend the fried shrimp and catfish. You should expect to pay around $25 per person. It is very well worth every penny if you want to experience Louisiana culture and taste.😀

Aaaammmaaazzziiinnnggg!!! Highly recommend. Great Southern Cajun food 😋 I had the fried shrooms for appetizer the blind tiger-rita, crab cake dinner w/ shrimp gumbeaux as my choice side. Last time I visited I had the Cajun Sampler and did the sharable dessert colossal tiger 🐅 cheesecake and warm bread pudding. Was perfect having the cold cheesecake paired w/ the gooey warm bread puddn.

The food was amazingly good and fresh. My table was messy on the floor but I mentioned it and the young girl cleaned it up. The service was slow but the waitress kept coming back to freshen up our glasses. The portion sizes are great and the lunch prices are a good deal. The food is a must try if you are in this area.

We are from Western Kansas and this was the best food we have ever eaten. Mush Puppies are my new favorite food! Amazing food and I’d drive all the way back just to eat here again!

Had a great dinner and time here! Mellie was a great bartender and had a great chat with her! The pecan crusted catfish is superb. Definitely will be back.

The service was good. The food was excellent, highly recommend the blind tiger drink. Catfish was crispy and flavorful. Wedge fries were wonderful. I was a little skeptical on the Cajun corn in the cob at first but was not disappointed with it.

Good food. Fried crawfish were very tasty, the gumbo was great and the VIOFO shrimp were really good. The 32 oz “long Allen iced tea” was really good. Highly recommend that drink. Service was excellent. Prices were very reasonable. Would recommend and will be going back.

We had never been here before and on our way out of town we wanted to go to a family diner Cajun place. The lunch prices and servings were perfect for us! The food had not just spice but FLAVOR, I hate when food is hot just to be hot but at The Blind Tiger it's a good spicy! We all enjoyed, even my 10m old son loved the red beans and rice I had! Perfect place for a nice family lunch, or a beer at the bar even!

A good crab cake is hard to find, but this is “the best crab cake that I have ever had.” The crab cake received two thumbs up. The pecan crusted chicken was absolutely delicious. The honey mustard sauce that comes on it had a spice to it that brought out the Cajun side of it. The potato wedge fries were some of the best that I’ve had in a while. Note: you do have to pay for parking via the meter or from your phone so be aware of that.

The place is getting a little "long in the tooth". We only had appetizers, boudin balls and crab cakes. Both fried (our mistake) and neither were just great. They do have a nice drink menu and local draft beers.

Ate here while visiting the area for work, I was very impressed. Got the Cajun sampler and really enjoyed the flavor of everything on it. The vibes were also really nice, I couldn't easily find any history on the place but it's evident it has some. Only downside is you gotta be mindful of finding parking, but otherwise fantastic place.

3-18-23 Arrived around 4 P.M. on a Sat. There was a 45 min. wait. The service is great. I just found the food sub-par. I will never return. The cornbread is a waste--do not order this huge and tasteless piece of cornbread. It was missing some ingredients and it was just entirely too big. See the photos for yourself. The fish and shrimp combo: 2.5/5 rating The fried okra: 0/5 rating The chicken dinner with a bacon cheese topping: 0/5 rating Clean bathroom! 1 and done for me. The Orlandeaux Cafe was full, so this restaurant was suggested.

Excellent food with a nice atmosphere and good service. I got the Cajun Sampler Plate which was a bit pricy ($21.95), but I felt like it was the best way to try this sort of food. They also don’t offer a military discount which was a disappointment, but the food was good. I would recommend this place.

This was a treat to experience! The gumbo was amazing, and the rest of the dinner was great. The Crown goes to the Tiger cheesecake it was some of the best I ever had, with friendly staff again I'm looking forward to coming again.

Absolutely amazing. I could not make up my mind and decided to order the Cajun sampler and it did not disappoint! It was too much food for me to finish. Great atmosphere and service too!

Dark woods of interior add to pleasant atmosphere. Good (tho a bit slow) service and food with well-stocked bar. Located in Historic District of downtown Shreveport. Locally popular, with parking lot in back. Adjacent to a partially collapsed historic theater and a few homeless folks hang out just outside the building.

I had the pleasure of coming here with my family prior to viewing The Nutcracker. I ordered the Atchafalaya chicken, and it was amazing. The atmosphere was full of energy, and our waiter was very attentive to our needs. Many chicken dishes are a bit lacking in flavor, but this place knows how to do it!

Excellent place for authentic Cajun food. We loved the mush puppies, Cajun corn on the cob, and Voodoo Shrimp.

Food was great!!! I had the blackened catfish; it was still moist and tender. My husband had the crayfish etouffee. It was on point. We then shared the tiger cheesecake. It was good as well. Would definitely eat there again!!!

Great server. Cajuns food is what we are looking for in Louisiana. Sampler is a good choice, and we also ordered an extra shrimp grumble. meat pie and corn are very tasty. Unfortunately, lukewarm on shrimp grumble. Fried shrimp doesn't taste fresh. I will try other restaurants not in downtown area.
