I got recommended this place. The food is decent. Not the greatest. It tastes something I could make at home. The prices of their meals are all affordable. The wait wasn’t bad even though it was crowded when we got there. It is faster if you’re using Yelp for their waitlist. The cedar plank salmon is a must try. I’m willing to try other items in their menu when I have the time. Keep up the good work.

This is my third time ordering steak. The first two times I tried medium rare and it was too rare - barely warm. This time I tried medium and asked for it to tend toward med. rare, but it was sent medium. Sirloin s a tougher cut to chew, so it was pink throughout - good job by cook with the consistency. My kids also chose the steak. Everyone thought t was well-seasoned. I had broccoli and asparagus which were also well-cooked and seasoned. Everyone enjoyed their fries. My husband had the ribs. They are truly fall-off-the-bone with a tangy sauce. The kids thought the whipped potatoes were "sour" but I thought they tasted fine. My son had the chicken tenders meal. A large portion. I could hear the crunch from across the table in the busy dining room! The negative star is because our first server went home and a second was assigned but 10 minutes later. Neither knew the bar list well enough to know the beer I requested and the wine my husband asked for were not available. The drinks took a long time to make it to the table. But the second server was energetic and attentive from that point forward. Very personable too.

After hearing many great things about Gibbons, we decided to give it a try for ourselves. The building is very nice inside with neutral muted colors and an upscale vibe. We were seated quickly and the wait staff was there almost immediately. I was very hungry and couldn't make up my mind so I just settled for the Fish & Chips. Next time I will try something more adventurous. My wife ordered the Hawaiian Chicken that our daughter recommended. The food came quickly and it was all super delicious. From the perfectly battered and fried fish sticks with homemade tartar sauce to the great cole slaw it was a fantastic experience. I even scored a taste of my wife's Hawaiian Chicken which was excellent and well. So would I go back? The answer to that question is a solid, "YES!" It was a great experience that stands above most I've had in the Shreveport area. Upstate: Made a trip here for Father's Day and it was just as good! I tried the Trio with Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, & Crawfish Etouffee with sides of a Baked Potato & Slaw. I love the slaw but the baked potato was just average. Still a great place for a great meal.

Made reservations a few days in advance for a Saturday dinner. Reservations looked to be a must as it was very crowded with many people waiting outside. Checked in and received a text when our table was ready. Waiter immediately came over to take the drink and appetizer orders. Started off with Deviled Eggs, Firecracker Shrimp, and Triple Dip. All came out within 15 minutes and looked good. My favorites of those were the Firecracker Shrimp and the Spinach Dip. For the meals, ordered the Filet & Shrimp, Baby Back Ribs, Gibbons Trio, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, Soup & Salad, Whipped Potatoes, and Mac & Cheese. They allowed plenty of time for the appetizers before bring out the meals. Food was expected at the price point. It's a nice, contemporary restaurant for different grilled foods. Nice place to come for a simple dinner with friends or family.

Dinner out with my college classmate and his daughter was perfect. The wait for a table was 10 minutes. The staff was courteous and attentive. Kayla was our server. She did exceptionally well. We started with an appetizer of chips and dips (salsa, spinach, and queso). My friend had the rack of ribs, and they looked amazing. The meat literally fell off the bones. His daughter had a club salad that was HUGE! I had crab stuffed shrimp, rice, slaw, and Mac&Cheese. All the food was incredible. And the prices were VERY reasonable. The 3 of us combined were $54. I was very impressed.

Great food and great service. We dined in on a Wednesday evening around 3:45p.m. There was no wait time to be seated and our food came out in good time. Our hostess was very polite and attentive, but not overbearing.

The food was delicious! WARNING- even on a Wednesday night this place is BUSY!!! Make a reservation or be prepared to wait. The appetizers were great. The burgers were delicious. The steak was so tender, flavorful, and juicy! Asparagus was cooked nicely and seasoned well. Our server was kind, cheerful, and attentive even though that man was BUSY! A+++++

Nice atmosphere. Phenomenal service. Food was good. Enjoyed firecracker shrimp. The house salad was nice .. feta would be a lovely addition. My filet mignon had to be refired as it was under cooked but then it was perfect. Great flavor. Hubs had the Mahi Alexander and said it was good but the mahi mahi was a tad dry. Prices are very reasonable. This place is worth the wait. Only downside - no bread before service as other steakhouses do.

First time at this place. First impression is very beautiful inside. The Hostess at the entrance looked down right depressed or indifferent. My first thought was are we supposed to be here or not? We were shuffled to our table unceremoniously and left. Everything afterwards was fine. Our server was excellent very attentive and cordial.

Grilled shrimp tasted like the grill. (Burnt taste bust wasn't burnt) Steak was cooked right. The Mac and cheese wasn't my taste. Others may find it good but not for me. Our waitress was wonderful. I wish I had gotten her name.

The ribs were outstanding! Very tender and delicious. Coleslaw was tasty. It was more on the sweet side. We will definitely visit here again. The menu pricing was good. The Coke in the pictures is a 7oz can. My wife enjoyed the chicken and penne pasta. I took a bite and was not disappointed.

Wow. If I lived in this area I would make this a weekly visit. The food was incredible. I had the Mahi with a white wine sauce. It came with grilled shrimp on top, mashed potatoes and green beans. The prices are very reasonable. My meal was about $15. People spend more than that at McDonald’s now a days. The staff was excellent and the ambiance was very high end. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I don’t think it was a hidden gem though because I went for lunch at 11:30 on a Wednesday and it was already packed. So worth it.

This is my new go to spot,when I'm in town. Excellent service from the staff not to mention the owner she's awesome. Ok, to the good stuff the food was a good portion, tasty and fast service. Appetizers are to super good. Oh not to mention tge adult drinks are pretty good as well.Keep the great work up Shreveport definitely needs to keep this spot.

I had the stuffed shrimp with a side of broccoli and etouffee. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Atmosphere was great and the portions were generous. I definitely want to go back when I'm in Shreveport again!

Delicious! The wait was pretty long to get a table but they didn't disappoint. Ethan was a great server and very attentive. Will definitely come back if we're ever in the area again.

Don't get me wrong, out waiter was great as a person and seemed cheerful, but it took her over an hour to give us our meal then they gave us the wrong meal which caused us to wait another 20 minutes and at the end they didn't even offer to comp anything. Food was great but I'd recommend going there on day where they aren't crowded. If you want a more casual experience with food of the same quality I'd suggest Shane's

Me and my girlfriend love this place. Easily a top 5 restaurant in the Shreveport Bossier area. Never been disappointed. If you don't like super packed places,probably don't go on the weekend though. Very nice setting for dinner with family and dates.

The Restaurant was beautifully decorated, staff was professional. The steak was superb and only $19.00 for a 10 ounce steak with shrimp. This is a little gem to visit in Shreveport.

Very busy place, the service was okay, my steak was not fully cooked, though I'd eaten a piece they put it back on the grill and served it back to me and it was tough. The Shrimp and macaroni was the best part of the meal. I had a friend order the ribs, they were drowning in thick BBQ Sauce. Other than that it's a good place to sit and eat with friends and family.

Gibbons never fail me! In my opinion the food is always fresh and so good. We had a new server today (Mariah), and she made our visit even better. She is a true example and how a server/waitress should treat guests. The wait time was not long, we had the Spinach dip chicken pasta and I had an old fashioned drink 🤤🤤🤤, mouthwatering and once again....DELICIOUS!

I had the best experience today! My waiter Aren B was the best. He went beyond and above to make sure me and my boys were satisfied. He even gave us a brownie and ice cream cup on the HOUSE to make up for our food being a little late. He left a sweet note on my reciept!! Thank you Aren B!!!
