Literally the worst experience I’ve had in along time at a restaurant. I will NEVER eat there again. Where do I start…as the cashier is taking our order at the window there were so so many flies flying into the restaurant, as we’re standing outside of the restaurant waiting on our order the inside of another widow of the restaurant it’s covered with flies. So I can’t even imagine how many flies were on the inside of the restaurant. My husband and I shared a order of livers and gizzards we were hesitant to accept the order but we did, the livers and gizzard’s did not have any seasoning, the food taste like it was fried in old grease and when we were given our fountain drinks there were bugs on our cups. I can’t even make this up….

Wonderful staff! Chicken is great. Potato salad is perfect! And, the boudin & meat pies are FABULOUS! FRESH liver & gizzards here, too!!! Must call to see what’s left!! ⭐️… I forgot to suggest that you call ahead to order, too. Then, you won’t have to wait in line! 😉😃😋

The owners of this place are rude and messy. The lady at the register acts like she doesn’t know how to take orders half of the time. Chicken was alright, but I definitely won’t be returning.

I went to try them out yesterday to get a burger and I knew then that I had to keep coming back. Got chicken and waffles today and it was the BEST chicken in town. The customer service was excellent. Proud to have them in my neighborhood🥰

If you’re somebody like me and hesitant to try new places to eat at, don’t be with this one. It’s definitely good and half the bad reviews of this place weren’t remotely accurate. 10/10 would recommend. Chicken is well seasoned and cook through!

if you want something different I recommend going to Gigi's me personally I just got a salad and it was amazing they could have put a little bit more meat on my salad but that's just me being picky you should definitely try this place

I expected for the chicken and waffles to be like the ones on the billboards but they weren't..... it came with 2 pieces of chicken( chicken leg and chicken breast) it wasn't that bad but waffle was just weird! It was somewhat fluffy but once you chew it was chewy. Waffles are not suppose to be chewy!

I ordered( 1 )Gizzard with fries,( 1) 8piece dark,and (1) Rotel nachos @5:05pm spent 38 dollars, received food @6:30pm. That's cold right there

Tried it because I heard good things. Chicken gizzards were cooked just right. Burgers a little salty but otherwise fine. Onion Rings nice and crispy. Friendly service at the window.

Wonderful Locally owned business with great food! Give them a try and you won't be disappointed. Be patient they are cooking everything to order from scratch its worth the little extra time.

This is a neighborhood restaurant. You order your food, wait for it to be cook, and take it to go. I ordered the 3 piece chicken & waffle. To be honest I was expecting chicken tenders. To my delight, I received a leg, wing, and breast. The chicken was well seasoned and waffle delicious. I truly enjoyed my food.

I agree with someone that posted about how nice the folks that run the place are…and the food is exceptional. My first time ordering a family meal and I had to wait while they cooked fresh chicken but so worth the 15 minute wait! I had an opportunity to see the entire menu posted outside of the restaurant and I am hopeful the smothered pork chops are available tomorrow…I am so coming back! This is a well kept secret…and it should not be!

First off I ordered ahead & the food was still fresh, none of that old, dry, cold food. That’s already 5/5 for me. Furthermore the food was amazing. That southern taste & seasoning was on point. I come to Shreveport like 2-3 times a month and each time I stop here. 5/5 service and 5/5 food. Can’t go wrong with this one trust me.

I had the 3 piece dark chicken with a small Rotel nacho. It was great, they even season the fries. Not too long of a wait, staff was very friendly. Definitely will visit again when I'm in town. 👍🏿

Burger was huge but it was good. Owners were nice and friendly.

Gizzards tasted like they were in old grease and they were hard. Had to wait about 35 minutes. Only 2 people ahead of me. Got my food before them

Gee gees have an amazing salad and burgers so big you might not be able to eat it all at once….Love it

THE CHICKEN WAS NOT ENJOYABLE HARD AND SMALL PIECES. SEEMS AS IF THEY REFRIED THE BREAST AND THIGHS PIECES SIZES WERE A DISAPPOINTMENT ALSO WILL GO AND GET A REFUND FOR THIS SITUATION WONT RETURN HERE. THE STAFF WAS NICE AND FRIENDLY. I PAID A GREAT PRICE FOR NOT GREAT CHICKEN
