The new giggling squid restaurant was a very pleasant experience. The vegan and allergy’s are taken very seriously though vegan options are limited. The food as you can see from the images were excellent both in presentation and taste. We thoroughly enjoyed them. It would be nice to see some more vegan options on the menu. Staff were all very polite and welcoming.

Amazing first experience at Giggling Squid! Was well worth the wait for it to open on our doorstep. Oli our waiter was really friendly and attentive. Food so tasty and fresh. Recommend the duck signature red curry with dragon fruit! A whole sliced duck breast was hiding under the sauce 😍 Unreal! We’ll be back.

Beautiful restaurant. We came here on a Saturday night, didn't book a table but they were very accommodating and got us a small table upstairs. Cosy and romantic. Wonderful choice of food and drink. And the food we chose was so delicious 😋 the staff were very attentive and friendly. My only down side, was the lack of non-alcoholic drinks. But the food made up for it. Will definitely be going again to sample more tasty delights!

Food and service were excellent, Alisara was our server today she was very friendly ,polite and knowledgeable about Thai food. We were seated in the smaller upstairs section, which was a bit quieter and also had a few booths. Overall, it was a very good value night, especially considering the choice available. Already looking forward to our next visit!

This was an excellent experience at the Giggling Squid in Shrewsbury. The food was first class, the service very warm, genuine and not intrusive and the ambience and interior decoration very pleasing. Even the restrooms were excellent. Highly recommended given the menu choices, the quality produce used and the presentation.

Visited for lunch with friends and had a delicious meal. We had a variety of the lunch tapas and the tapas set meals, everything was great and freshly cooked. My favourites were the hawker style moo ping, prawns in ginger and the red and green currys. We were also told that the curry can be made hotter or milder depending on your preference, we just tried the standard and they were both really tasty. I'm lactose intolerant and the staff showed me the allergen menu (also available via a QR code on your phone, really handy to be able to narrow down by foods not containing different allergens) and when my food came out all the plates were clearly marked with a little allergen sticker. Highly recommended if you have allergies, the staff obviously take it really seriously and seem to cater to a variety of different dietary requirements. There are also vegan choices on the menu too. I had a virgin mojito, really nice and refreshing. Would love to come back to try some of the cocktails as they had a big selection of different drinks on the menu. We came with my 7 month old baby and they had high chairs available for use, she's too small for the food but there is a kids menu available too. Overall a great visit, would like to come back to try the evening menu!

Had an amazing meal here on Wednesday evening. A lovely Chinese girl served us who was very kind and polite. It's one of the better Thai meals we have had in Shrewsbury. The prices are a little expensive, but is expected with the location and amount of staff that need paying. We will definitely be back thanks to the kindness of the waitress who made us feel very happy. Thanks and see you again soon.
