An
late
change
of
plan
saw
us
book
the
Drapers
Hall
on
the
day
of
arrival
for
two
nights,
without
really
knowing
what
to
expect.
But
what
we
didn't
really
expect
was
a
place
so
welcoming,
with
such
wonderful
character,
history
and
style,
together
with
a
host,
Miriam,
who
greeted
us
with
genuine
warmth
and
charm.
Drapers
Hall
really
is
a
lovely
place
to
stay.
We
were
immediately
delighted
with
our
choice
of
where
to
stay
in
Shrewsbury,
with
cosy
rooms
and
a
very
comfortable
bed.
Breakfast
was
excellent
and
the
staff
all
helpful
and
smiling.
The
bar
in
the
evening
was
very
nice,
well
stocked
and
even
had
a
local
real
ale
on
draft.
The
location
of
Drapers
Hall
is
perfect
for
exploring
the
historic
town
of
Shrewsbury
and
we
highly
recommend
it.
