It's a 60-minute hike for the fast ones, and a 90-120-minute hike for the slow ones. Best time to go up is at 4:00 AM, you'd reach the peak at 6:00 AM tops, enough for you to enjoy the sunrise before going down after an hour. Breakfast is served by the family living on top of this peak. Tents are also available should you wish to stay overnight. Bring a water bottle and please don't throw garbage around.

The trail is not that long compared to other mountains but the view that is waiting for you is totally fantastic. It is nice to witness the difference in night time and day time. BONUS your tour guides will be dogs.

My favorite place to hike. Its only 30 mins drive from Dumaguete till to starting point which you can park your car or motor bike then the hike is around an hour and half depending on your speed. Amazing view on top where you can see Mt.Talinis, Apo Island, Cebu and Siquijor while trekking.

Puncak Tanawan is one of the beautiful places you can go with lesser effort of hiking compared to other mountains. It only takes 1-2 hours walking to reach the peak. And when you reach it, you'll see a surprising view of Sibulan and Dumaguete. There is an available overnight offer as well for 75php. The night scenery is amazing as well! Worth a try!

The best place to escape and do relaxation. You can bring your family and friends and do overnight camping. They have tents for rent or you can bring your own.

Great place for hiking and camping. You can order rice for 10 pesos per serving, silog meals and even hot water. There is running water for washing your hands, utensils or to freshen up.

The way is steep but that's okay... The place is really good for overnights! It's bad my friends can't be with me that time when I wanted to enjoy the night there. But I'm sure I'll be back

The best place to visit after a tiring week of workloads. Hiking up is not easy but it will be worth it once you're there. The city light will always be the main attraction for an overnight stay.
