I was taken to this hospital via ambulance after getting hit by a car. I was a pedestrian. Understandably, I was upset and nervous. The accident happened so fast I was not entirely sure of the extent of my injuries. Of course adrenaline was involved, so it was difficult to determine exactly my symptoms. The doctor's words were: "Well, you're walking around so you must be okay" . I was pacing in the room because:(1) it was very painful to sit,(2) I was very upset and nervous and(3) I was worried because my adult autistic son was in the waiting area. My husband was trying to show me support and keep an eye on our autistic son and was yelled at by the registration person for doing that. Then she yelled at me because she said she didn't have my name? The whole experience was surreal. The doctor reluctantly ordered a X ray of my pelvis. When he came back in to tell me the results he was rude and talked over me, not wanting to listen to my other symptoms. I was awake most of that night with neck and shoulder pain. In 34 years practicing physical therapy, I have never talked to a patient the way he spoke to me and I have never treated a patient disrespectfully the way I was at this hospital.

in ~2016 i'd gone to the emergency room because i was experiencing extreme stomach pain, vomiting, just an absolute mess. it came and went very fast, by the time i'd gotten to the emergency room and sat there a while i'd felt a bit better. this lead to my pain being implied to have resulted from period pains, or just me faking it, and i was sent back home pretty quick. in 2017, i was suddenly feeling a very familiar extreme pain in my stomach and vomiting. it did not go away as quickly this time, and this time the doctor did a CAT scan. wouldn't you know, my appendix was leaking. would've been great if they'd looked into that the first time. in ~2019, i'd gone in repeatedly about unrelated stomach nausea and pain. this was ongoing for months, i threw up daily and could barely keep down water for months, i begged for help multiple times. was pretty sure i knew why too, it seemed by all accounts i had an ulcer. everytime i went here though, they insisted that what i had was a uti. i just stopped going here eventually because i knew they wouldn't help me. i was curled up in bed almost everyday, i genuinely felt like i was dying and had nowhere to go. Wouldn't You Know, when i finally got in contact with a g.i. who took my words seriously enough to get me in quickly, not only did i not have the stupid uti, not only did i have an ulcer like i said, i had 8 damn ulcers. this hospital could see someone bleeding out on their tile floor and not give a damn.

We've been to tri- town regional hospital many times due to our elderly parents living with us. From the people at the door, nurses, technicians and doctors we've always been well taken care of. Thank you
