Audi Soap Museum is a fantastic place, it shows the stages that our grandfathers used to create soap. You will see some old monuments and ruins found while renovating that’s date back to thousands of years. They have a gift shop. Highly recommended to visit and learn about the culture and habits.

Impressive “soap museum” in Saida The owner met us, disclosed full process of creating soap, very interesting history. It’s the one family museum and the technology passed through generations. The enter in museum is paid but ticket price is cheaper than coffee:) soaps’ price are bit exceeding compared to other soap shop on the same street.

This is the first time I was intrigued by soap 😂 and I totally loved it. There was a guide to take you through the process of soap making and how it’s done. This museum is well kept and really clean for an old place with deep history. It also has a mini cafe for tea or coffee and a shop where you can get souvenirs.

Very old house/workshop in the old town, transferred into a soap museum! You get a quick tour with an informative guide. You can buy soaps at the end of your tour too if you like.

Original museum where you can learn a lot about the traditional way of producing local loreal soap. They say that the origin of this Artisan is Nablus in Palestine. For me, nothing equal the famous Aleppo traditional Soap. The prices at the sales boutique are very high. You can still afford one or two soaps as souvenir, but to buy in quantity, you better seek the local market of the nearby old town, where you find many tradditional stuffs very affordables.

The Soap Museum traces the history of soap making in the region, its development and manufacturing techniques. Visitors can see a demonstration of how traditional olive oil soaps are made and learn about the history of the "hammam" (bath) traditions. But on our visit there was no demonstration!

I really liked this museum! It displays the different machines used to make, shape and stamp the soaps. I would’ve wished having a tour guide like other groups did; I’m sure it would’ve made the whole experience richer and more interesting. What made the experience better however, was a video documentary about the women of Saïda and how they used to make soap, as well as Mr Mahmoud Sharkass, a soap maker in Tripoli that’s been making soap without using fire, as has his ancestors have been doing for years. The video made the visit worthy. The entrance fee is 5,000 LL.

Been here as a participant in the Hammoud soup campaign (your health is in your hand).. Along with Audi foundation and the soup factory in Saida .. The museum is amazing with their history of soup making and the old cabins and jars used to make these soups.. Recommended to visit to view the old Saida around too

If your looking for a heritage visit to place that tells a story then you reached the right place. The Soup Museum in Saïda is not just a museum, it’s a journey through history to one of the iconic places in the city that tells the story of soap making and how it was made and the people behind it. We buy soaps these days off the shelf without knowing what it went through in the old days. It’s a place that you should visit, but their authentic items and watch their video, don’t forget to sip a cup of coffee in their boutique cafe outdoor.

The museum is small, but there is a lot to see. I recommend the tour to get more information (especially since it's free). The gift shop is a beautiful place for high quality souvenirs that are very different from some of the souks nearby.

Interesting small museum about the history of soap making. Get a get if possible who tells you about the factory and the handcraft of soap making rather than just reading the tables. 🧼

Recently renovated, this soap factory is a great day trip if you are in Lebanon for more than 2 days. The tour, led by a local guide, gives the visitor a glimpse into the soap-making industry of the region. The adjacent gift shop is a must. You can buy all your unique souvenirs here. The area is being currently renovated, and it’s hard to find parking. Make sure to visit the other villas in the area open for tours.

The receptionist of the boutique was very UNPROFESSIONAL, we stayed looking for stuff for atleast 15 mins before she approached us. However, the museum itself is an amazing experience with alot of information about the history of the museum. We pride ourselves with such museums.

Very well thought place where we discovered all about the soap making process and the history of this craft in Lebanon. After learning about the stages of soap making there’s a very nice collection of traditional soaps and tools from several Lebanese villages. I highly recommend the place for it highlights brilliantly the traditional way of making soap and showcases the work of local artisans. The museum’s boutique is also a very nice place to buy unique souvenirs.

Nice place u will see what I mean when u will visit it 👌 I took many photos but I will post just two and u can take pictures too.

Small but nice soap museum. Well maintained with a guide who will explain to you the process. The entrance is 1.5 dollars so we didn't expect much. It is worth the visit if you are in Saida or visiting Saida. The gift shop is ok and the soap price starts from $3.

We visited this place with our children, they provided a tour guide who spoke English. It has some hands on experiences, and she shared the history history. It was very interesting, didn’t take too long and had a shop where you could buy books and decorative soaps.

It is absolutely a hidden gem in Sidon. When you enter the museum, a guide give some information about the history of this old soap factory. If you want to buy natural soaps as gift, the museum also have a shop. But prices were too high and staffs were morose.
