Newer Basilica that is visually pleasing both inside and outside. The grotto is neat, and has a few other areas of interest in the environs. A place of pilgrimage for the Christian faithful.

Big basilica, but the chairs are just plastic monoblocks. They should put wooden church benches so it will compliment the basilica's beautiful interior. Within the compound is the miraculous cave which is magnificent. And Mama Mary's big shrine is so beautiful. It's worth the trip.

Very nice, lots of things to see and learn about, most importantly one needs a guide to know the facts and stories behind everything in there. Also no entrance fees.

It’s the place where the Virgin Mary waited for her son Jesus while he was preaching in Sidon till he finished because at that time women were not allowed to be present with men. It’s located in south of Lebanon in a village called maghdoucheh which is above Saida. Mantara in Arabic means the waiting point. There’s a small grotto transformed to a prayer sanctuary. A basilica is still under construction on a level little bit above the grotto for the Roman Catholics.

So relaxing view, so refreshing place (its a church) just walk around and ull feel better specially when ur having a bad day.
