Had a quick stop at Zawat. The place looks amazing and has an authentic feel and spirit you can feel across the restaurant. Food was good both sea food and grilled meets. Only down side was staff attitude. It was evident they were experienced waiters. Also prices were defiantly on the high end.

After expressing all of this they did nothing to compromise for the awful food. We ordered the check and left , mere apologies were given on our way out. Would recommend for shisha and a drink not a place to eat at all.

It was completely serendipitous how we found this restaurant. We had just finished doing the tour of the castle across the street and we were on our way to Tyre. The group was hungry so we decided this place would have a good view, so we took the gamble. And very glad we did! We were seated right in front of the view, and the waiter brought over menus. The menus had lots of options so we weren’t sure where to start or what to try. The waiter offered to “take care of us.” In the spirit of adventure we went along with it! What happened next absolutely became a highlight of the whole trip!!! My wife and I still talk about it to this day! They brought out two tables worth of food; appetizers and entrees. It felt like we tried everything on the menu. The staff kept checking in with us. Super nice. We definitely delayed our trip to stay longer here. The price was quite reasonable; something in the range of $25-30/per person. We def tipped with well for such a unique experience and hospitality. TL;DR Great view, great service, amazing food. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re coming to Lebanon.
