I cannot recommend this excellent experience enough !! Nothing but positive memories of the experience. I am so happy that I came here. The circus is excellent with all human performers and no animals involved. It makes for such an enjoyable and fun night regardless of age. The performers themselves are so passionate and have clearly trained so hard to be able to do what they do. The performers all come from incredibly disadvantaged backgrounds and are taken in by the school and given an education in the performing arts. The entire establishment seems wonderful.

Such an amazing experience! I have been twice now, and both shows were unique and fascinating. You can choose what price ticket based on seating. If you choose section C, make sure to be one of the first to line up to get in to avoid sitting behind a pole or an actor! Before you head in, there is a small market with food and drinks (alcoholic options). Great prices and great food! There is also a small show put on by some of the young students. 6:30-6:45 is the ideal time to get there, shop, eat, drink, see the pre-show, and still get a good seat. They give a complimentary fan in the actual tent to keep cool, but there are also fans around so the atmosphere is actually quite nice. The actors are humorous, engaging and SO talented!!!! They do incredible tricks, acts of balance, and stunts. They have amazing acting and dancing skills as well. You will not be bored by this show! It is well worth the money and time.

The show was very nice. Humourous and funny. Its part comedy and part tricks. I like how the music is all done manually as in they play the instruments instead of a recording. The locals trained for many years to perform them. There is a nice shop to buy souvenirs too. Most items are hand made by the locals. The jewelry are very nice. Their about $10 -$15 USD.

Grateful experience. I love that they created a story that was fun and engaging that distracted you from the incredible acrobatics that they eventually surprised you with. It's incredible that everyone involved comes from difficult backgrounds too - they are a true inspiration! We arrived incredibly early (5:30) for an early dinner. I'd recommend you turn up at 6pm onwards since the stalls are still setting up before 6. The food options are wonderful and plentiful. We ended up getting the vegetable teriyaki noodles, some cocktails and a Cambodian curry with rice. All options were super fresh and tasty! While the kids did a warmup performance, we positioned ourselves at the queue so we could choose better seats (we were not in reserved seating in block A. We were in block C). If I were you, I'd get as far away from the pillars as possible so that you've got a completely uninterrupted view. That said, when we come back we'll do the block A, since you have head on view of everything. The performers were incredible and it was timed impeccably. They're all super talented and we'd definitely come back again.

(August 2023) We paid around 18$ per pax for the cheaper tickets and arrived at around 6:40 p.m. so that we could try some food. The desserts cost 3,5$ and the noodle dish was 5,5$, it was decent. I think the young performers put on a show near the food court after 7 p.m. until they started letting people in at 7:30 p.m. or so. Even though we bought the cheaper tickets, we still had a nice view during the show, as the performers constantly changed the direction they were facing. The show was thrilling and emotional, definitely one of the best ways to spend your money and support a good cause 😌

I've watched 3 different shows over passed years of visiting Siem Reap. Each time it gets better and better. Great entertainment for all ages! It touched my heart that many performers achieved this level of performance standard despite coming from difficult family backgrounds. Many honed their skills over 15yrs of learning. I've also visited their circus school in batambong, where these performers attained their Free education and learning. The Circus show continues to fund the schools and giving them a decent wage.

Loved this world class, entertaining live show in Siem Reap, Cambodia. I purchased the B section seats. These were in the center of the tent and has excellent views. I recommend B section seats over the C section seats. Very energetic and action packed show. Lots of juggling, gymnastics kind of show. Skilled team. The background live music is fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the background music too. Well worth your time and money. Try to get there an hour early so you eat local food while watching a pre-show live performance.

What a spectacular evening! We started the night with a tuk tuk ride to the circus. Get there early so you can take part in the live music, street food, and shopping experience before the show starts. I only wish we arrived earlier so we could sample more of the delicious food and local beers. The show was absolutely entertaining and made us laugh too! The traditional music, dance and artistic elements were inspiring. A big round of applause to the performers! WELL DONE!!

This was a super performance! Entertaining and expressive. The strength that these performers have is insane! 💪 The show was very smooth and they had a good interaction with their audience. Humorous and exciting! The live music was GREAT! 🎶 The seating is close enough that you can see it all clearly. I was in general seating up the back and could see the whole show. $18 for general seating. There is a pre show puppet show which was interesting! Opportunity to buy food and drinks 🍸 🧉 here too. I'd recommend getting there early to line up as there are no set seats in the area of your ticket. And if you sit up the back...it's not a bad view at all! There is opportunity to have a photo with the performers after the show which was nice. 📷 The gift shop is nice and has a lot of variety of things to buy. Prices not too bad either!! The staff were all friendly and the evening was definitely worth it!

Amazing performances and energy by the cast. If you are in Siem Reap, you must come watch their performance which takes place every Wed, Fri and Sat evening. I can’t recommend this more. They have five shows in rotation and we watch Khmer Metal, a story exploring Cambodian youths and their struggles around topics including materialism, alcohol, love and aspiration.

Wow! What a amazing performance. We went with family and our kids 7-9 as well as the adults loved it. A great mix of storytelling, really fitting live music and acrobatic performances that really surprised us in skills. It was funny and well done. The food ambiance seemed nice but we did not dine there. The popcorn came with the fried oil on top of it so that might be a little greasy for some but for the rest no feedback. The shop has really beautiful handmade items and a lot of recycled items. There seems a general sense of environmental consciousness in this place from type of food, glass and plastic use that’s limited… no straws etc

Incredible experience seeing this show. Very well organised to get into the circus. All the performers and musicians were very impressive and also looked like they were enjoying themselves too which added to the whole experience. If you’re in Siem Reap this is a must see!

Pretty good acrobats. The show was funny and had some story telling. There's a place for dinner at the circus just before the show, and short performances as well. Definitely recommend to purchase the tickets prior to show online and be mindful that the circus only performs on certain days of the week.

Such a fun way to spend an evening. The garden and food vendors outside mean that you can have a pre-show meal or drink right on the spot. The performers in the show were incredible athletes and entertainers.

While Phare only restarted about a month ago, it didn't disappoint. We went there early to enjoy some good reasonably priced Khmer food and talk with friends before going into the tent for the show. The performance was fun, funny, ,entertaining and filled with all of the best Phare acrobatic moments. I would highly recommend attending this show especially right now while the ticket prices are heavily discounted. It was well worth the time, amazing value, and probably the best night of entertainment you could have in Siem Reap.

What a fantastic experience! The story telling, music, ambience, all of it was just mind blowing. The fact that they managed to present such a heart felt story, in such an uplifting way is a feat of its own. Must visit if you're in Siam Reap!

Loved it. Entertaining, fun, moving... We saw White Gold, a great show. Reminded us of Les 7 doigts de la main. And the work with do with young people and communities to help them out of poverty is simply amazing.

Cute is the first word you think of but it changes to skill full, witty, energetic. The show is very well designed and it has to be one of the best things to do in Siem Reap. I didn’t get bored at any point and the energy left me refreshed and light. I really loved how Cambodian it was and how how it introduced me to a new concept of circus because I only associated it with animal cruelty so far. Look no further and book a ticket NOW!

We had an amazing evening here! The street food and drinks before was really nice and the show was incredible. Everyone involved was so talented and it supported a school teaching thousands of Cambodians circus skills.

One of my highlights in Siem Reap! I loved the show and enjoyed every single second! The artists are all top notch! Great story and also lots of of parts to laugh at! Had a smile on my face the whole show. I didn’t expect much but i was completely overwhelmed! Please, support them and buy a ticket. It’s worth every single penny. I will always remember this night ❤️ thanks to the artists and all the people that make this happen!

Such a phenomenal and energetic show. The flow of the story and performance is about right. Besides, it's a wonderful way to support the local community. Between 19:00-19:30, the youth performers have their own show, and it was beautiful and fascinating. Don't miss it!

Really an incredible experience. The traditional Cambodian dance and show beforehand is also a must! The main circus event was incredible and kept you on the edge of your seat, entertained and laughing the whole time. The organization also does wonderful philanthropic work. A great experience and chance to support the local talent!

Great performance! I got the cheap seats, section c, and could still see everything pretty well. An hour before the show there is a small show featuring children in the school. It was pretty cute. The food looked good. You had to buy coupons for the food cost at a different station, then go to the food vendor and exchange the coupons for the food / beverage. It sounded complicated but while it was an extra step, it was pretty easy. We got there at 645 because it said it opened at 530 for festivities before the show but eating and just that one child performance was all we saw so there was a little time to kill in the shop and just hanging around. Great night! Highly recommend.

I haven’t been to a circus in probably 15-20 years (I’m 34). This show was worth every second: from live music to performances truly 5/5. If u guys come to Germany one day I will personally promote you. Very good, hard working talented people. Salute.

This was a really energetic and great show. The 'tent' is an intimate size with varying levels of seats, which in reality none of the seats would be a 'bad' spot. The show performers are charismatic and you really fall for their charm. They're talented and the whole premises of Phare is wonderful and always happy to support.

Very great and entertaining show. The enthusiasm of the artists for their cause is unbelievable. It's not just about artistry, stories are presented, some of which have a profound background. It is also very nice that the artists make a significant contribution to giving children a better future.

What an incredible experience! I highly recommend going early (around 6:30 pm) to enjoy the food stalls, and the performance by the young students. Not only was the main performance, really enjoyable, but the story behind the entire enterprise is also very captivating.

Incredible performances by some very talented local artists. Really fun atmosphere and very professionally produced -- these guys could easily go on to train with Cirque Du Soleil and not miss a beat. The organization provides free circus and arts training for young folks and all proceeds go to a great cause. A fun and easy way to experience some local culture while also giving back. Highly recommend!

Went as a UK solo female traveller. I loved this whole experience so much. I’d recommend getting there at 6:30pm. They have great food and cocktails, can choose your seat from 7:30pm for 8pm start. Amazing and all so talented!!!

Bought a Section B ticket for the 8pm show. Arrived early to enjoy the pre-show which showcased a couple of children performing traditional Cambodian dances. At the pre-show area there is also food that you can buy. After the show there is also a gift shop to purchase items to support the organization. I managed to get a seat right in the center which gave a perfect view of the show. The show itself is very energetic and entertaining. The performers were enjoying themselves as much as the audience. Show lasted one hour. Video and no-flash photography is allowed.

This is a must see. This is a very well run location. I was impressed by the check-in process and the availability of food and how smoothly the show went. We arrived a couple hours early to have dinner and then we watch the show that is before the actual show. The performers were energetic and seemed very into what they were doing. They seem to be having a lot of fun and that made the crowd really get into it.

This show was spectacular. Such great value for money and not an experience to be missed! There are drinks, food and souvenirs available to purchase before hand and a pretty outdoor seating area with pre entertainment. 🍹 The show itself FLEW by. There’s a good mixture of theatre story telling and opportunities for the artists to showcase their individual skills and arts. The team is a small but dedicated and energetic one. The arena isn’t too big so there’s a really lovely atmosphere and good crowd participation- pretty much every seat in the house has a good view. Excellent cause and wonderful entertainment! 💐🌞

Thoroughly enjoyed the Phare Circus. It's $18 and the show is 1 hour long. It's acrobatics, live music, circus, dance and drama with a storyline to keep you engaged and entertained. If you're in Siem Reap definitely go and watch it 👍👍 The performers are highly trained.

Wooooooooooow! They showed amazing performance to the audiences. They did a great hard job. Especially, they use the fund right to purpose. I love their mission to help children survive and education. DON'T FORGET TO SHARE IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH.....! It was first time for me to see them, but I would prefer to recommend it to you all.

Fantastic evening at Phare. I couldn't recommend it more highly. We came early to have a fantastic dinner, enjoy their happy hour cocktails and watch the entertainment before the show too. The show was wonderful and told stories as well as the amazing stunts and tricks. We're going back again this week to see their other show.

A highlight of my trip. I expected it to be good, but the story, music, and skill of the artists went beyond. I saw ‘Eclipse’ and the performance was funny and engaging. The artists were very good at building anticipation and working with the crowd - it was really fun. I would love to check out their other shows. Thank you! 🙏

  • 3/5 Kristy C. 1 year ago on Google
I enjoyed the story that was told, although I didn’t understand most of it. But that was based on my own inadequacies of interpretation. My issue with this circus is probably because I was expecting a lot of acts and tricks, but their performance was pretty mediocre and the tricks seemed pretty simple. I was most impressed by the musicians and how they made some pretty interesting musical accompaniments using simple instruments. Probably wouldn’t have gone if I knew this was all they would be performing, but it’s good that they are supporting good causes. The fee for side section seats are $10 at the door and $20 for middle section seats.

Humorous but powerful storytelling! This is a must experience when in Siem Reap! And the Phare Circus has a very meaningful story behind, it started with the intention of leveraging art to heal trauma and evolved to use circus to return to the local community.
