We visited the restaurant because of the local natural wines and craft beers they have but it is also an excelent option if you want to try local dishes (warning: pasta and pizza are excluded). In any case I can definitely recommend this place either for a drink or for a meal.

A great find - very interesting and well priced range of wines by the glass. Friendly vibe too!

The food was so good that we didn't even wait to get photo's! We originally went in just for the cheese platter and drinks, but once we saw their specials board we stayed for the beef cheek stew and the blue cheese aubergine!

Horrible service, I don't understand why they even work in gastronomy?! EDIT: Your standard can be seen by your answer. As for the table, it was a table for three, one side facing the bar. I'll be happy to explain how to treat guests. The waitress should be smiling and not looking annoyed. The restaurant had a total of three tables occupied, and yet she couldn't handle the service. After we finished our drinks, she walked past several times and was unable to ask us if we wanted anything. She doesn't have a standard, I recommend her another job... I also work very hard in my job, but I know how to treat customers!

Great vibes and music. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Locally sourced food. I'd visit again if I'm ever in Siena.

Fab little craft beer/natural wine bar with small selection of delish food. It was pouring rain and the perfect spot to pop into to warm up. I had a really delish gnocchi dish & a glass of red wine.

Don't hesitate and give this little non touristic based restaurant a chance. You have a solid choice of meals of the day for fair price and also fine wines on glasses to pair it with food.

Excellent selection of natural wine from the region and all Italy. The food is simple, but very precise and sooo goood 😋 To be visited in Sienna. Give a call before coming !

Very nice small place. Good food, nice wine and beer. Very attentive service. If you are looking just for a snack and not a full lunch, just some wine and a snack, good stop. :)

Good wine and friendly staff. The two Crostini we tried were both covered with melted cheese, which hid the flavours a little. I'm unsure if this was a fusion Italian/German style, or just not to our taste

One of the must stops in Siena if you love natural wine. A great selection and many wines that you can order by the glass. You can also just buy bottles from their impressive list to take home. Don't expect a classic Italian restaurant with pizza, pasta and WiFi, but do expect Italian dishes with a quirky twist, friendly service and lots of tongue in cheek signs on the wall. Outside is a tiny standing table for your glass zo you can also just have an aperitivo while standing.

Really cozy place very close to the Duomo. Fantastic food, good prices and amazing service. Home-feeling restaurant that we will visit again whenever we are in Siena. No pizza, no pasta, no coffee but great crostini and cantucci e vin santo. 😊

We had dinner and drinks here on a beautiful eve. Very nice selection of natural wines and a small craft beer menu with local birra artigianale. The small food menu was a pleasant surprise. We had a wonderful tomato salad and the crostonis were delightful!

We absolutely loved the natural wines in this place! Will remember the Chianti produced near the city walls forever! A French talking! A discovery on Tuscan wines worth spending two dinners in this place.

Cozy place, nice, quiet atmosphere. Good service. And big choice of wine, beer and cheese and salami. They also serve the dishes

Really cozy atmosphere and the best wines we tasted in Siena. The cheese board was so delicious and we were given description for each cheese as well as the wines. Great food too. We came back twice we loved it so much!

Had dinner here last night. So glad i booked a table as it was Saturday night after all. I had the rose as recommended by one of the contributors here and found it enjoyable. My main interest coming here was also to enjoy a glass of the much talked about Brunello Montalcino. I was offered a 2015 vintage and I paired it with the beef cheek stew and a side serve of potatoes. This was a perfect pairing as the wine is indeed a robust red. Being an Aussie, we are no strangers to big reds and if I came away less than impressed it shows just how good Australian reds have become over the last 25 years. I would compare this particular bottle to a $20 bottle of cab sav or shiraz. That aside, the ambience and standard of service would bring me back again to try some of the bio whites.

Wow. Favourite place I visited in Siena. Great food and a great selection of wine. Careful thought went into the decor and the hosts were very welcoming, despite me being a tourist. Thank you for a fabulous afternoon
