A friend recommended me this place and we loved it! We sat outside for lunch, very friendly and efficient service. Had tagliatelle with ragú di faraona and tagliata with rosemary, both delicious. Side dish veggie tortino was nice too, although not out of this world. For dessert chocolate flan (kind of coulant). Overall a very recommendable place to eat in Siena, apparently one of the top 3-5, hope to be back!

The food was average. The risotto was a bit too milky. The lasagna was probably the best dish. The staff was friendly, nothing to complain about.

Excellent place for dinner after visiting Duomo. Many great food options with very reasonable prices. Enjoyed the lasagna and also the cheese plate. Service was very friendly. Relaxing and comfortable place for a delicious dinner.

Really great food and amazing service. We’ve enjoyed the coniglio tonnato, pappa al pomodoro and incredible Fiorentina. Value for money could be slightly better, felt a little pricey and would have been nice to get the limoncello or coffee on the house :)

Absolutely delicious! The onion jam with the fried mozzarella balls sounded pretty weird, but it was the perfect dipping sauce. We also had the lasagna, pasta with bacon (can’t remember name), and a steak dish. The steak wasn’t very good so I don’t recommend it, but the pasta and appetizers were so good I didn’t take away a star for it. All this was plenty for a couple to share

Lasagna was very cheesy and came in a little hot pan. Caprese was also good but wish there was more basil. Few wine glass selections. Chianti reserva was fine. Outside patio was nice and they still sat us at 10:15 which was appreciated.

Probably the best place we ate in during our staying in Toscana. The restaurant was recommended to us by a local guide, and it delivered on our high expectations. Can't remember the names but there was a chickpea dish a "torino" dish that were really good. Would recommend if you're visiting Siena!

We had a GREAT meal here from pasta to onion soup to beautiful, succulent grilled pork! To our American palettes, even the inexpensive local red wine was excellent and value for money. I'd make another trip to Siena just to eat here again!

Good restaurant, a little walk away from the main square, so a little les touristy. Food was good, price was acceptable and service was on point with very friendly staff.

Great as always! Maintained amazing standards in the 4 years we haven't been. Great bisteca and the pecorino fritters are excellent

The best fiorentina I have ever had in my life, cooked to perfection and really tender. Also the apple muffin pie served with warm custard was a nice surprise. The waitress was also very professional and kind. Great place to taste the Tuscan culinary traditions!

We ate risotto, lasagne and onion soup. The dishes were very tasty, especially lasagne. I recommend also Chianti Classico. Nice, english speaking crew.

A cozy, vibrant, genuine food place in Siena. The classic pici al ragù was excellent. And so was the dessert. We took cannoli and it was probably the first cannoli I liked outside the Sicily. Not too sweet, not too thick, crunchy on the outside with a fresh and very tasty cream inside. The orange jam was a nice touch. Will be back one day!

A truly life changing Fiorentina steak. I could order one just for my self. I enjoyed so much I was disappointed when it was over. I recommend this place not only for their excellent food, but for their excellent service and friendly staff. I will come here again no doubt. Great prices, great food, very nice deserts and nice wine. A true Tuscan experience. Congratulations to Osteria La Sosta di Volante.
