Beautiful atmosphere in a luscious Park setting close to the historic centre of the city. We visited by accident and were already completely enchanted by the place. We managed to get a table for lunch even though we arrived spontaneously with 8 people, but we saw many others turned away because all tables were full. So it's definitely recommended to reserve a table in advance. Service was very fast and friendly, the food was delicious, especially the grilled filet steak and the roast rabbit stuffed with artichoke. We absolutely loved the experience and the food, a wonderful place!

We asked our Airbnb hostess for great restaurant reccomendations and she advised we come here..great restaurant! We had the carbonara and the truffle pasta, both were amazing. Then we all shared a 1.5 kg bistecca fioretina....absolutely fantastic! Cooked perfectly and tasted great! The house red wine completed this great meal. Highly reccomended!

Excellent meal set in a beautiful garden. We strolled the vegetable garden (which was beautiful) shortly before being seated. My wife had the tagliatelle ai funghi and I had the pici salsiccia e finocchietto selvatico which paired excellently with the rosso di montalcino 2016. The service was excellent. our waiter bonded with us over his love of grunge music, Pearl Jam, and our home city of Seattle. The other tables were mostly local families which was fun and lively. The setting was superb. Will plan to return whenever I am back in Siena.

Small restaurant in green surroundings in a heart of Siena. Food is good, we enjoyed pici in particular. Prior reservation is recommended and be prepared for a short climb if you come down from the city center.

This was our second time here. We are now fully vegan so options were limited but the pici aglione was still fabulous and worth the visit. The waiter was very helpful and friendly in going through the menu for us. The only negative was that we had been hoping to dine alfresco (as previously) but because rain has been forecast that night the only option was to eat in a large plastic tent with harsh cold lighting which - not the best ambience, and we asked but weren't allowed to sit on the adjacent outdoor tables (which had large umbrellas erected) despite the fact that the evening was actually turning out warm and the latest forecast was for no rain till the next day. This was in mid September.

If you’re looking to feel like a true Tuscan resident for an evening this is the place to go for dinner. Tables are set in a beautiful garden of a farm only 10 minutes walk away from the main plaza in Siena. Food and wines are absolutely amazing. Staff are very helpful and friendly, more than willing to let you take your time and enjoy the surroundings. I recommend walking down at lunchtime and putting your name down for a dinner reservation that evening. Be sure to stay until the sun goes down because the walk back up to Siena provides gorgeous views in the evening.

This place is so quite, peaceful with beautiful view of town and campo. Those who love to eat outdoor and want to avoid tourists and spend memorable time this is the best option. Furthermore food is delicious, 4 cheese pizza is the must try for cheese lovers so creamy delicious and yes please try their gannochi el pesto and dessert menu too. They've very professional and kind staff plus few of them understand English language and very friendly. You've to reserve your table for dining before so please keep it in mind.

Just a short walk from Piazza del Campo and we were in an oasis of tranquillity. Really friendly and attentive service and the pizza was huge and very tasty. Prices very modest for Siena. Well worth a visit.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Secret place in a garden in the middle of Siena (you can actually see the cityhall tower). The staff was amazingly friendly but the. food. We’ve spent almost two weeks in Tuscany but we had the best pasta here! Pici with Ragú is fantastic and the Pici with fennel and Tuscan sausage is just heaven. Don’t deny yourself this pleasure and eat here!

Nice place for a drink and food if you want. There is a medieval garden if you walk up to the end.

Good quality for the price. Very fresh pizzas, therefore only a bit wet. We asked for take-away of the left over, but they didn't really understand it (English).

Picturesque outdoor restaurant in the green area just a 500 m outside the walls if ancient Siena. Great place to sit and have a rest from busy centro historico. Very friendly English speaking service. Wide range of Toscana style dishes, pizza only for dinner. Spaghetti and pici was really delicious and in affordable prices. Gnocchi also recommended. Nice view on Siena sights.

We’re so happy we discovered this gem just outside the main city walls. We were lucky there were a couple of private parties with their own set menu. At first they told us just because they were very busy we could only order pizza, but then a nice waiter offered us a dish from the set menu. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable! We ended our meal by chatting with Paolo for a while. He’s part of the super friendly staff that is happy to greet and serve you. I highly recommend this place for an authentic Tuscan experience.

Sadly the information they provide is dishonest. First, they are not open when they say they are. Secondly, they do not answer the phone - you just get cut off, don't waste your time. Avoid at all cost, there are plenty of decent places in Siena who understand how to treat people.

A very great place to have a good lunch. It has different places you can sit and enjoy typical food from Tuscany. Not too far from Siena city center. Recommended

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Siena. It is nestled in the most amazing little nature oasis surrounded by the historic center on all sides. The food is authentic and delicious and a great price. The service is wonderful and the staff is very friendly. Everyone always seems so happy in this little paradise. Oh and there is an adorable donkey and several goats to see. Plenty of green grass to lie in after your delicious meal.

Really good food and kind staff, welcoming. A beautiful tranquility oasis, just a foot away from the tourists herds. Highly recommend it! 😊

Great place - just off Siena's city centre but in the middle of a garden surrounded by Siena's hills.

We had a wonderful evening there. Much cooler than the heat of the city with grass and trees but just a short walk down from Piazza del Mercado. The food was very nice and the custom made torta di Nonna for our event was amazing.
