I can hardly imagine a better accommodation than La Chicca. The beautiful two-storey villa, dating back to the early 20th century and perfectly renovated, is located in a quiet, elegant residential area just outside the walls of the old city – a perfect location, especially for those who travel by car, as parking is free and easy to find in the streets around the villa, while an accommodation within the old city, where non-resident cars are not allowed, would imply high parking costs. The western border of the old city is 600 metres (0.4 miles) away, while both Piazza del Campo and the magnificent cathedral are a 15-minute walk away from the B&B. The view of the acropolis on the way to the old city is breath-taking. Besides the location, during our stay at La Chicca everything was perfect. The owners are exquisitely friendly and helpful, our room was impeccably clean, our bathroom was large and comfortable, the Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, the breakfast was good and abundant – we particularly appreciated Claudio's homemade cakes. Overall, the value for money was excellent. Before booking, please consider that only four of the six rooms have their own private bathroom, while the remaining two rooms share a bathroom. We stayed in one of the two rooms with the shared bathroom because it was the only one available, but it was clearly specified in our reservation, so it was no big deal for us.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Siena, look no more – this is the place! 10 mins walk from the city center that allow you to discover different scenery of Siena. Free parking is easy to find nearby. Breakfast was great, everything was very clean. Nice host that also give you some tips & recommendations. Really enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to be back.

The location is quite good cause you can park easy and reach the centre in less than 10 minutes by walk. The host was very nice and he also let us use some umbrellas as it was raining heavily. The breakfast was very good prepared by the owner’s wife. The room was very clean as well. Internet in this premises was quite good as well.

Small, clean and central B&B. When we arrived the Host helped us with the parking, which are free right outside. The city center is in walking distance and very easy to get to. The breakfast was outstanding with all home made cakes and pies, absolutely worth it. We really want to highlight the Hosts (a very professional, friendly couple), the hospitality they give you is outstanding and you see they make their job with passion and all their hearth. We will come back here anytime and recommend this place to anyone!

A lovely and central B&B. The owners are lovey and accommodating and make a delicious breakfast full of home made cakes and bread. The house is a huge typical Italian villa with high ceilings and traditional furnishings. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Siena.

Historic and characteristic B&B with very welcoming owners. Homemade cakes and bread for breakfast are a nice touch and very tasty. The hotel is a little out of town (10/15 min walk), which is handy for parking a car but can be a bit off-putting if the weather isn’t great!

This family-run B&B is in an original 1920s villa, ten minutes walk from the city centre in a beautiful, leafy, quiet neighbourhood. Our room was huge with all original period furniture, tiled floor and a painted ceiling. The breakfast was the best on our trip - all home made cakes, and impeccable service.

Incredible beautiful villa with high ceilings and great light. When we open our shutters in the morning the trees are full of birds, then we go downstairs and eat homemade cakes and coffee in the garden. Highly recommend.
