You have probably seen and heard of Italian vineyards and lifestyle but to actually experience it is a whole new level. Borgo villa don't just give you the tipical Italian Tuscan lifestyle experience but you actually live at a villa that belonged to a Nobel family once upon a time. The architecture, the interiors, the exteriors and the furnitures and paintings in the house reflects royalty. But what will truly make you fall in love with the place is the peace and tranquility that you experience here. With the breath of fresh air to the soft touch of sunlight at your window makes this place feel like a dream for anyone looking for a getaway from the hectic, fast, noisey and crowded city life. It was a perfect pit stop for me to recharge and feel refreshed.

it's a wonderful place. I stayed there 4 days in August. It is very close to Siena and easy to reach by car in several locations. seated on a hill has a panoramic view around it. a pleasure to wake up in the morning to watch the wonderful landscape on the window. with trees and building for several centuries, the property welcomes you warm and makes you feel relaxing. every night we went down to the yard where various tables and chairs were seated, we had lunch there, we drew and we looked at perseids at night. the owners are very friendly. the rooms are very simple, at least the ones we stayed in. unfortunately the bed I had to sleep in had a very elastic metal bed and I always felt like I was falling out of bed so I chose to put the mattress on the floor. but it was a unique case, the others in the group complained only of the noise produced by the bed. the only disadvantage was a bathroom for 5 adults, without washing machine or iron. but all these things forget about them in front of the landscape and the atmosphere there. it is worth to taste their wines and to spend a few hours in the evening to enjoy the tranquility of the place

Borgo Villa Certano is an incredible place where every tourist travelling around Tuscany should stay and rest for a while. It's an historical and charming Italian Villa (cap letter isn't a typo...) full of artistic gems and located on the top of an hill providing visitors with the possibility to lose themselves into many fantastic views and typical Italian experiences including local wine and food tasting in vineyards and/or under the stars (JUST MAGIC) I've been hosted by two very kind folks always willing both to enjoy life and to accommodate every visitors' need: my plan was to stay in Certano just one night...I decided to rest for 7 nights and 8 days. Extremely suggested to all those are looking for an unforgettable real Italian adventure. 'A certano oggi parto....e domani vo' via!" (in case you'll stay in Certano...you will understand this sentence for sure)

Heaven in Tuscany! We stayed at Borgo Villa Certano for eight days with a family group of seven people from the US, France and Belgium. Among all the many places to stay in the Tuscan countryside, this location may be perfection: beautiful country landscapes all around, a garden for late dinners with the towers of Siena lit in the distance, and at the same time easy access to groceries, restaurants and Siena itself in fifteen minutes. We used it as a base to travel to medieval towns all around Tuscany, but you could just as well spend a week here relaxing and drinking the Villa's own wines under the grapevines and the wisteria. Accommodations are not luxurious in the sense that you should not expect pools, wait staff or marble everywhere, but they overflow with charm, and the kind of effortless class you can only find in an old Italian villa. Everything is very comfortable and cozy, and you will wake up to a rooster crowing a few hills away, and the light filtering through the lace curtains. Graciela keeps everything running and is always available, and so is Annalisa, the owner. They are kind and attentive, and a big part of why we all loved our stay. Be sure to ask about the meals and activities that can be arranged. Very highly recommended.

I travelled to the simply lovely Borgo Villa Certano. It was a super great experience for me to sleep there. The warm hospitality of Giulia and her mother, the wonderful view of Toscana' landscape and the mood of the place with Toscan's edifice are unic. In the room, everything was clean and spacious. Agriturismo location was very good, near to Sienna. Definitively i will come back to this agriturismo.

Wonderful Tuscany Experience! Close to Siena, it's dominating the countryside around from the top of the hill. The big and beautiful apartments are really comfortable. The local products are delicious and economic. Moreover, the welcome of Annalisa was very warm. Great moments!
