This was a fun day. Cool from the summer heat and so many things for everyone to enjoy. My 9 year old had to take a swim test before and I thought that was great. Definitely will be coming back.

The best running/ walking track in the area! And no one seems to have found it yet! New tennis courts, softball fields, running track & football/ soccer field. Sand Volleyball court is coming! Give it a try. Beautiful views too. Thank you SV!!

The city of Sierra Vista hosted a police, fire, and rescue day. There were representatives from these entities as well as Cochise college, SAHARA food shelf and resources, Salvation Army and several other organizations. There were gifts, candy, demonstrations, challenges to complete, competitions, and well informed representatives to answer questions or give advice or share knowledge. It was an exceptional night for young and old. We will definitely return when the day is offered again!!

8/18/21: So green and serene! My dogs had so much fun and I got to get in a great walk here. Enjoyed this very clean, spacious park and when back in this area will absolutely utilize this park.

Good rest stop while shopping. Take a breather and be on. Gets nicer over the years too. Trucks old and has problems, so I need to stop and fix some wiring, got nice parking trees for stuff like that

I love visiting the park regularly! Nice open field to practice and play outdoors sports or walk your furbabies. Multiple playground units for all ages and with handicap accessible equipment also. Thursdays are my favorite days to come through because the farmers market is there til 2pm. I love seeing all the locals using their skills and trades here! Most big events for town are held here, I love how well organized and planned most these events here turn out. From art in the park, to cars for kids, to winter events with ice skating and lighting our huge tree and lights for town. Great public park to enjoy with any and everyone.

On the hot day the canopy was very beneficial. It must have cooled off by 1-15 degrees under it. The turf has a great bounce, make me feel safe for my grand children to play

Skatepark is pretty good other than the outer loop could use a few pump bumps. The bowl looks big and gnarly. Didn't get to hit the bowl but next time will be sure to give it a go.

Real nice park. We were there on the farmers market day. Lot's good stuff to eat. And lots of other stuff to buy. From frig magnets to blankets and metal pigs.

I belong to a group that enjoys evangelizing about Jesus and praying for folks and Veteran's Park is such a wonderful place for that experience and it's a mellow place where you can reach all ages. Kids today need encouragement. The world is a tough place for them these days. I'll be returning.

This is a nice park to visit. They have events scheduled often that are fun and bring the community together. The kids seem to really enjoy the free movies and they even have a dj playing music for the kids to dance to.

As public parks go, they have a very nice play area for kids. The park is clean with many wide open spaces for people and animals (on leashes) to roam. A walking track the entire perimeter with exercise stations along the way.

Nice park. We come here for the 4th. There's a little craft fair and food trucks. There's usually something going on at the pavilion/stage. Being right next to The Cove, you can swim then watch the fireworks.

Beautiful park. We've brought our take out food to the picnic tables several times to enjoy the beautiful outdoors here in Arizona. The farmers market on Thursdays has a wide variety of food, plants, jewelry etc. I even got there early enough to get raw milk from the Elfrida vendor. If someone knows the name of the "pseudo twizzlers" vendor, please reply. I've been back several times recently to get more and they haven't been there. They have a nice playground for kids and lots of easy parking.

Good experience overall. Going at a good time definitely helps the experience. Going later in the evening usually results in the skatepark area being a bit crowded at times with a possible bit on Tom foolery, but from 8 am to about 3 pm is optimal for dog walking as there are sometimes soccer teams that practice on the main grass lots. Overall, would recommend.

What a fantastic park for all ages. I've lived and worked in many countries world wide and I must say this is the best laid out family orientated park I have ever seen. The mountain views are spectacular, there's even fishing areas in a well stocked man-made lake. I could go on and on about this place but the proof of the pudding is in the eating, go try it for yourself.

Christmas tree lighting was worth a trip to town. Live band doing Christmas carols. Snow machine for the kids. Ice skating rink which looked like a lot of fun. Plus lots of small vendors with gift ideas. Parking was easy. Nice family venue.

I take my little one often to this park before she started school and she usually has a great time as long as their are other kids around her to play. She seems a little disappointed if there aren't many kids there. Now I take here to the park less often because she prefers The Cove more. Water fountains available but they seem to be turned off during the winter. Restrooms sometimes have toilet paper, but I usually keep toilet paper in my trunk just in case they are out of toilet paper. Bathrooms don't usually have hand soap or paper towels so bring hand sanitizer or your own hand soap. There are several festivals held at the park throughout the year but the best ones are the ones hosted by the MWR. They also have a Farmer's Market there every Thursday. The ramadas are available to rent and The Cove is available to rent for birthday parties. There is a large grass field and adequate shading available.

The park is well maintained. We went to a fun little event on Saturday where a free movie played on the stage. It was really loud but fun. Maybe bring ear plugs for smaller children.

Went to the Memorial Day celebration - organization of the booths was a little haphazard but generally a good time. The park itself is nice but somewhat under-developed; I didn't notice any nature paths / bike paths and the kids' area was on the other side. Shade trees appear limited to along the road side; given the summer heat, more shaded areas and water would be an improvement.

Great place to take the kids. No smoking allowed. But you can still conceal carry to protect your family. No signs against that. Which is awesome. Maint. Does a good Job keeping things operable, clean and grass mowed.

Nicely mowed field with a play ground and public bathroom. Great place for a BBQ or picnic. They have public covered grills and Cornhole boards next to them. Wish they had Frisbee golf cages, even if it wasn't a course, some practice cages would be nice. Overall great clean quiet park.
