My father-in-law (age 93 and a retired Colonel of 32 years) was hospitalized in November 2022 for a heart condition. The soonest this VA office could see him for a follow up was the end of March 2023. These folks simply do not care, so we’ve moved on with Medicare to a family practice physician. People could literally die waiting to see a doctor at this VA. Absolutely the worst ever service!

Front desk lacks customer service skills. Rude and dismissive is the only way I can describe the front desk. I've also called numerous times over the past year for an appointment and am always told someone will call me back to schedule my appointment. I'm still waiting for that call back. It seems as if the front desk is solely there to cause aggravation. I will give praise to the medical professionals in the back. The couple times I have been able to see the provider or have my blood drawn, they were extremely polite and professional.

The Sierra Vista VA clinic has been taking care of us for several years. We have been extremely pleased with their terrific service over that time period. Their staff is wonderful and accommodating. We are grateful for their service over these many years.

The VA Clinic in SV should have all 5 stars across the board. Excellent service and staff. Anyone that complains and says otherwise is a chronic complainer and as my Grandfather used to say about these types of people is they would complain even if hung with a new rope. Vietnam Veteran.

Flip of a coin if you’ll get good care at this facility. I’ve had good prompt care in the past, but not so much recently. Very little to no communication with your provider, and poor continuity in your health care. It may just be my particular team, but compared to other VA healthcare facilities I’ve received treatment from in the past, Sierra Vista is by far the worst. As apposed to doing any in depth research, or proactive treatment, this place will literally just let you die.

Had a foot problem and, without seeing me, my primary wanted me to go for PT. Didn't even talk to me. Tried to explain my problem to the nurses, but each one I talked to was distant and appeared unconcerned. I was forced to deal with it on my own. This happened about a year ago. Several months later I saw the optometrist (she was good), and ordered my glasses. She told me to try them for a couple of weeks before getting them adjusted. However, the glasses arrived somewhat twisted and unusable. I went to the clinic and they said they don't do adjustments. They had no solutions to offer. WTH! After these (and some other issues) I switched my care to the Tucson VA and haven't had a single issue. I realize this clinic isn't a full service location, but that doesn't explain the lack of communication and compassion. By the looks of the reviews it would appear that others have had no problem while some have complaints as well. The VA needs to take a hard look at this location and fix the problems.

Great service from Beatrice in Audiology. Very pleasant! My husband needed a hearing aid fixed and the tubing replaced. He was so happy to see Beatrice taking care of him. Once we got home he said all happy: This Lady Beatrice made my day! He was also happy to see his audiologist doctor while waiting in repair. We do miss the receptionist Martha which always had a friendly smile on her face! Not like the new receptionist. She is very sturn and no smile! Making sure you keep the mask on which is fine with us, but there are different ways of saying it. Not all sturn and upset. I had to get involved because he couldn't hear her. Hoping Beatrice and Audiologist will be there in 6 month when we return to get tubing replaced. Maybe even earlier. Please give Beatrice a clap on the shoulder from my husband! Thank you!

First appointment went well. Organized and timely. Nurses and doctors were great. Radiology service needs to be discontinued. Either do radiology well or even fair or don't do it at all. First in line, hour and a half later, still not seen. Walk-ins only, but call ahead as the sole technician is frequently out.... Follow up 8/31...upgrade from 3 to 4 stars....third time was the charm for radiology. X-ray orders had expired. Front desk worked with the nurse and doc to get orders resubmitted. Despite the delay with the orders, I was done an hour later. Thank you for a job well done.

I have never had a problem with the main clinic front desk, nor audiology department. The audiology technician went above his normal duties to help me with hearing aid issues more than once. Phone calls to the clinic front desk as well as the audio clinic were prompt, friendly, and professional. Appointments are what is normally seen everywhere else in Sierra Vista, and Ft Huachuca as well. Short staffing and heavily booked calendars is a norm in this area. I am newly retired (end of 2017) and haven’t had a ton of exposure. Appointments in Tucson were prompt and professional, and even paid per diem for travel quickly after submitting the proper forms. Clean and newer looking facilities both in Sierra Vista and Tucson. I am truly sorry if other folks are still having issues, because I am not.

Courteous, professional service. How do I know in comparison? I've been to various VA clinics in different states and this one by far is one of the best!

If you have the ability to use community care for ANYTHING that this establishment purports to provide, do it, otherwise you'll be wasting your time and sanity.

My personal experience with Sierra Vista is of a good nature. Front end was very cordial and understood why I was there. I was called in an hour Ahead of my schedule. No fuss, no headache. In and out.
