This place is a joke. It's pouring rain pretty hard right now. I'm sick as a dog and came in for a COVID-19 test. They gave me the clipboard with form to fill out and told me to go outside and complete it. So I go back outside in the rain, again, and fill it out. I walk back inside through the pouring rain, again, to hand them the completed form. I'm then told to go back outside, again through the pouring rain, and wait in my vehicle for the Nurse to show. I waited almost an hour in my vehicle, with the rain, yup you guessed it, still pouring down hard. It got very humid inside which made me sweat and cough more. If I have a choice I would never return to this place for anything again. If it's not the Rona that I have, I'm certainly not getting any better by being soaking wet with cold rain water.

Walls and doors are sheet thin, so you can hear absolutely everything that is discussed outside of the room. For 15-20 minutes I had to listen to them talk about the population of Texas before they decided to come in and evaluate me. The only nice/professional person was the young lady at the front desk. She had more compassion than anyone there. Will drive to Tucson before I ever go back. Wish I would have read the reviews before going in.

Never again, firstly need bigger waiting room, Second staff are rude, Third was told about an hour after waiting for half and hour and here we are two and a half hours later still waiting. Like I said never again, I will take the trip to Tucaon before I ever step foot back in this place, if I hadn't paid my copay as soon as I checked in (the only thing that was done with any speed in this place) I would have left, absolutely ridiculous.

I paid the $65 copay upfront with assurance I would be seen in approximately 30 minutes, then waited three hours to receive 2 minutes of their time...I would have walked out except they don't allow refunds. Their treatment failed to help and upon returning to give them a second chance, they claimed I had to pay again to be seen. This time I was smarter and walked out without paying the nonrefundable CO pay

I had acute inner ear infection and came to High Desert clinic for the first time. I was treated quickly and effectively by their professional staff, even with a crowded waiting room To be able to have access to this good medical facility out here in the middle of the southern Arizona desert is a blessing. I appreciate the good service and wish the staff a wonderful holiday season.

When the "High Desert Clinic" says that they "Aren't that busy, and can help you right away", what that really means is you get to wait around for 2 hours. The idea of under promise and over deliver escapes them. I feel like I was lied to...

I developed an illness over the weekend that looked like a cold. I was referred to this facility when the base didn't have any appointments. Dr. Steinberg took care of me. Turns out, I had a bad bacterial sinus infection. Pus was oozing down my throat. I needed antibiotics. Within 2 days I've already noticed significant improvement. I can breathe through my nose, the drainage is decreasing, and my pain is decreasing. Been getting better since starting treatment. He probably saved me 2+ weeks of unnecessary suffering. Wait time was only 10 minutes.

Visiting from Mo for 1’week. Visited High Desert Clinic on a Tuesday afternoon with what was determined to be corneal abrasion to right eye. Receptionist was efficient & nurse was as well. Caring and professional demeanor. Dr. was very helpful and asked questions necessary to diagnose my injury. Very thankful for her expertise and kindness. Referred me to a local specialist, and took care to get an appt for me quickly. Very satisfied with this excellent medical care.

My questions in advance were answered quickly on the phone. I was also quickly processed into their system. I had what I consider a very short wait for an urgent care (especially when I realized I was arriving right at the noon hour). All three of the staff I met were polite, friendly and efficient. I’m confident that the care I received will take care of the problem. I was on my way in just under an hour, start to finish.

High Desert Clinic was efficient, clean and responsive. I had read a few bad reviews, but couldn’t get an appt at my regular medical center, so gave them a try. I didn’t experience any of the problems outlined in some of the reviews. The wait was less than my regular doctor and Jason Steinberg NP was knowledgeable and pleasant. My problem was completely taken care of.

Not so Urgent Care. This place is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to care. We went there for an eye infection, and received a prescription for something I probably could have gotten over the counter. On top of that we had to wait 4 hours just to be seen. We came from San Antonio and received care faster then this. We recently had something like else medical come up, and decided to go to Canyon Vista instead. That was a good call because we were seriously in and out in under an hour. I honestly have no idea what is up with this place but the prioritizing is not good. They need to have a few people work on those that have serious problems and those that can just be in and out. If they had the in and out we could have been done much sooner than 4 hours. Heard Bisbee clinic was pretty good too, if we need URGENT I think I will go there even if it is a little bit of a drive.

The staff are not overly friendly but not rude. I'd bet they are under a lot of stress from the ownership. I went when it wasn't busy. In and out in 40 minutes for a sprained ankle-including X-rays. It does have a bit of a dirty and worn look. Overall, I'm ok with my experience. I'd go back if I needed to, but would rather go to my PCP at Bisbee Copper Queen clinic.

Urgent care has been very good to me. They are caring, professional and spot on. Unfortunately I’ve been there in the last year at least a half dozen times and each time they have taken care of me impeccably. You have to expect wait times as they’re are more than yourself that need care. I’m very thankful for the staff at urgent care

The nurse there is rude and not friendly whats so ever. You can tell she hates her job. Told her I suffered from ADD and she rudly corrected me and said.. no, ADHD. I had no idea that ADD is outdated and now called ADHD even if you have no hyperactive behaviors. It was like she was trying to belittle me for not knowing this. That's what happens when you chose your career based off of pay and not what you actually enjoy doing. Doctor was nice and thorough. The only reason I gave 2 stars.

Honestly very friendly staff. Obviously it's going to take some time to get seen when this is the only urgent care in town. But my interactions with the front desk, nursing staff, and doctor were all cordial and helpful.

Wow! I read all the reviews before I went. I was a little nervous, but here's the accurate and up to date review. I went in ,by appointment, for my DOT/CDL Medical Exam. It took me longer to fill out the paperwork, than the visit. Dr. Jason Steinberg, and all the Associates, were friendly, courteous, and the place was clean. Thank You High Desert Clinic for your service. 👍😎✌

Me and my daughter were in here and I was not pleased with the service the young girl with long dark brown hair with glasses refused our service and said that we couldn't go in when all I needed was a Doctor's note for my daughter to go back to school and for me to go back to work. As a single mom it's hard enough to get in somewhere with the insurance I have. So we will definitely not be coming back here ever again.

Charged for a moderate complexity code when the physician was in the room for less than 5 minutes (yes I timed it) and diagnosed my husband with strep which is pretty straight forward. Very alarming especially if you’re self pay because they don’t accept your insurance.

As a follow up to another clinic visit, in another state, I needed a second opinion and an anti-biotic script and was able to get both without too much issue. I was also able to get a refill on that script within a couple days, although I did have to call in, after accidentally dumping the pills. People working here seem a bit annoyed every time you interact with them but I got what I needed and it didn't prevent me from accomplishing that so not the end of the world.

They are no slower than any other urgent care. They did just fine for me, someone who was out of town. All in all it was about a 2.5hr adventure but for small town AZ it was just fine.

Staff was very professional and understanding. Unfortunately the test chamber for hearing testing is so close to the road that I failed and did not get the job I was testing for. :( I believe this to be because of sound contamination, not my own hearing failing.

I called my doctor up and found no available appointments… I was so thrilled to be seen for my issue before it got worse. I went to HD Clinic, was taken seriously, got my prescription, and feel better the day after. I am so happy that I have relief!!! Did I need to wait? Yes. The more important item is that I was taken care of when my original provider could not do the job.

Frequent flyer here. This clinic always takes care of me and my family every time we come in. Sometimes the wait is long, and sometimes we get in and out quickly. We have lived all over this country, every urgent care has wait issues. At least this clinic warns you upfront. Some of these patients need to learn patience and manners! Thank you High Desert for always taking care of us!

I've gone a few times over the last couple of months. They've always been pleasant, and get to me in a timely manner for how many other patients are there. Always give me what I need, and submit prescriptions fast.
