This businesses is very unpleasant, slow and never consistent. Their record keeping is horrible as they had no idea what medications I was taking even though they prescribed it. They never called me about my blood test so I called only to have them tell me I had an irregularity on my blood test and I needed to talk to the doctor. They would not tell me the results and said I could only get them from the doctor. She said the only avaibility for a phone call appointment was the next afternoon. On pins and needles I hung up. Then I realized they have to give me my results as they belong to me and it's my legal right. I called back and finally got to talk to the rude office manager Griswelda (really her name) who finally said I can come pick up the results but could NOT talk to anybody. She told me she could at least say the problem was not an emergency and could not understand why I was so concerned. REALLY?? Please note, my husband got blood results over the phone the week prior with no appointment that were abnormal and that directly shows I was treated differently. They are scrambling around to put an office together that is lacking in any organization or protocol. They treat people like sheep billing everything they can. Be aware, they are not advocating for us just their lousy business. They actually wanted me to risk COVID by coming to their business when a 30 second phone call would suffice. If you have any tests on a regular basis this process is shameful. I gave Griswelda a piece of my mind and will never return. Angela Spezzano

Optima medical only want to overcharge you and rip off your insurance. Went in for a yearly physical and it was not coded as a physical so my insurance didn't pay. The best part was that I was charged psychological consult because she asked me if my antidepressant was working. The way that they code and bill you is so wrong. They want to get the max that they can from your insurance. And then they route you to some corporate office if you want to dispute your bill. When you call they claim they are busy and want you to contact them thru some website. They sent a script to my pharmacy for medicine that I have been taking for quite sometime. They did not inform me it was only a 3 month supply with no refills. My pharmacy requested a refill but there was never an answer. After a week I realized that I didn't have a refill pending, so I called the office and they said that I needed an appointment every 3 months in order to get refills. They failed to tell me this when I got the first 3 month supply, and now I am out of medicine. Called them and they said they would call me back with a short term refill. But of course that never happened. I have always had a years worth of refills. All they want is money. I am leaving them for a new Dr. Sure do miss Dr. Herrod.

Was a wonderful place until Optimal purchased them. They have changed my doctors and nurse practitioners so much it was like a revolving door you never knew who you were going to see. When you thought you were finally going to have a good doctor they would remove them. In 4 yrs I seen over 7 different doctors or nurse practitioners. I have a lot of medical issues and it was awful no one knew what was going on. At one point one of the doctors was asking why I was on certain medications because my records were a mess and it wasn’t even documented why I was on the medications. We moved out of state 2 months ago was in process of trying to get set up in our new home and with new doctors and insurance. I hadn’t been in in three months and asked if they could refill a couple of my meds to get me through until I could get set up with new doctors here. (I have multiple medications for heart and diabetes along with other medications.) I was told I would have to come in for an appointment because the last 2 doctors I had seen were no longer with them. I tried to explain I was in KY 1800 miles away trying to get established here and only needed a 30 day refill while I was waiting on insurance to take effect and my insurance was still there. I was told they couldn’t help me. They are supposed to be my health provider period. They refused to help me and I have went without very important medications.

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. I went into this place about 2 months ago to see about me possibly having sleep apnea. The doctor was great and the office looks amazing! they ordered a at home sleep study for me. The process did take a little bit but I think that mainly relied on the company that sent the machine out. After 2 weeks I got the sleep study machine and sent it back out after doing what it told me to do. Fast forward to now a month later and I'm calling into the Doctors office asking for an update. A young girl calls me back and says they got the results and sent in an order for a machine the other day. I asked her if she had a time frame of when I would receive it with attitude she told me I could call the company and check myself because they would not do that. Frustrated I called the company and they said they received the order and had my machine but tried to contact the doctors office multiple times and they wouldn't return any calls. So this morning I call and ask for the office manager, FROM THE START OF OUR CONVERSATION THIS LADY WAS EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!! Kept cutting me off and the only response that she could give me was I can have the doctor call you. I AM DONE WITH THIS PLACE!!!! DO NOT GOOO THERE!!

Dr James Rowley has been my primary since March. I have had nothing but issues with him due to his lack of patient care, his dismissal of my concerns and prescribing medications that have absolutely nothing to do with my situation. I don't need to poison my body with needless, harmful medication that isn't even effective. The fact that he doesn't take a patient's concern into consideration nor is at all hands on, is one of the reasons I am seriously considering going to a different doctor with better education on specific issues, cares for his patients and doesn't make them wait over an hour just to be seen for 5 minutes. I absolutely do NOT recommend coming here nor using Dr. Rowley!

I've been with aric ray for a year and a half and I will not go to any other primary care doctor. He's knowledgeable, fun, caring, and attentive.he saved my life practically. The staff are awesome they all know me by name as soon as I walk through the door they say go ahead ray have a seat ill get you in. I'm mean it can't get any better than that.

I really liked this office. Then I couldn’t get a live person on the phone to refill my prescription. Left two messages and no call back. It had been over a week of trying to get my medication with no luck. So I went to the office today and talked to a receptionist and told her what my problem was. She ordered my medication but could not help me understand why I couldn’t get anyone to call back. I asked her what does she suggest I do next time I had a refill and she said just call. I told her that doesn’t work and she just shrugged her shoulders. She was no help. I said if I can’t get my medication then I have to change doctors. Again a shoulder shrug and said do what you have to do. No help at all. Seems like they don’t care about losing patients

I've been seeing Dr. James Rowley for a couple years now. He is also my sons doctor. Rowley is absolutely amazing. He has direct concern for his patients. He single handedly saved my life, physically and mentally. He has never rushed me, never made me feel anything but important. For my son, when he comes into our room, he speaks directly to my son. It makes my boy feel as though someone is really listening! Thanks, Doc. You're amazing!

Going on 4 months now with this left shoulder/hand issue. CT Scan, Ultra Sound and MRI are supposedly all clear. You need to see a Neurologist they tell me, I call in on Monday to request a referral, Tuesday I'm told it's called in. Saturday after contacting my insurance carrier I'm told there's nothing even submitted. I don't know where the communication link is broken but after waiting this long it took 1 hour to find another Primary Care Manager. Now I get to start all over after wasting the last 4 months, can't count the number or miles and visits I've spent to still be in almost constant pain. Will miss seeing Veronica's smiling face and pleasant attitude but paying for lack of health care isn't working.

I always went here when it was Lenzner medical and operated under Dr. Harrod. Never had any issues with staff or treatment. However, I made an appointment today for 9:35 and when I showed up I was told that the physician, Monica Lopez, already had a 9:35. They bumped me to 10:40 and once I got into the exam room, I was able to talk to the nurse and let her know what was going on. She stepped out and I waited 45 minutes to see Dr. Lopez. Absolute waste of time. Ms. Lopez was incredibly rude and dismissive of me, and at one point cut me off to ask what I wanted her to do since I wanted to tell her how to do her job. UPDATE: Optima reached out to me to apologize and find a solution to make me happy, which was switching to a different doctor within the office. The gentleman I spoke with was very empathetic and made me feel much better about remaining with the office. As I said before, I’ve never had an issue aside from this one instance, and honestly my problem was with Ms. Lopez, not Optima as a whole.

Aric at Optima Medical is exceptional. He's always professional, conscientious, and thorough. He goes over everything, and addresses all questions and concerns. I have had him as my physician for years, before he joined Optima. He actually cares. The rest of the staff that I encountered were also exceptional, pleasant, and professional, also very helpful. I couldn't ask for more or better. I would definitely recommend them highly.

I have been with optima medical for approximately three years. Thank goodness I found a health network where I matter. I am not at my peak anymore and I seriously hated feeling like a number in other places. Here at optima I feel like the doctors care and they listen. This is a nice change thank you optima. Thank you Aric Ray you are the best in my health care needs.

I just switched from on post to Optima at the end of May and am so very glad that I did. I spent 20 years being seen on post as an active duty family member followed by 19 more as retirees. All of which I have been grateful for and tried to be understanding and not complain. But, I didn’t realize how good things could be! The care and service at Optima is amazing. I get timely appointments, am seen without having to wait for over an hour past my allotted time, have my labs, referrals and prescriptions submitted and approved quickly and get test/x-ray results the same day! Stephanie takes her time with me and is a breath of fresh air after years of having to make multiple calls and then beg and plead for an appointment, referrals or results due to ongoing doctor and staff shortages. I still appreciate my previous caregivers for trying hard to keep things going despite those terrible situations, but am so very thankful for Ms Green and all the staff at Optima Sierra Vista for making my move such an awesome one!! Sincerely, Gail Farmer

See Eileen, she's awesome! The front office staff is very nice and very helpful. The office is new and absolutely beautiful. It's super easy to get in for an appointment and my favorite part is that they have a lab on site so you don't have to go anywhere else to get your labs done.

James Rowley is both my doctor and my girlfriend's doctor and at no time has he ever been anything but The Best PCP for us! Everyone in the office are pleasant. All in all.. Rowley and the Lenzner Med staff are phenomenal and if you read a biased review here.. most likely that person's either having a bad day and they just need something to attack or they're negative, moody people who can't the scripts they want? Because James Rowley is THE SH*T!!! And I wouldn't trade him for another doctor, anywhere! Real Talk!

From the moment I checked in, through the office visit itself and scheduling a follow-up, I could not be more pleased. Every single person I encountered was pleasant, professional, informative, and exceeded my expectations. I was not rushed through any part of my visit even though they were busy. The privacy and respect was note worthy. Based on my experience so far, I would highly recommend this practice if you are seeking to establish healthcare from people who take the initiative to care. Thank you.

Great staff. Medical assistants are prompt when rooming and very friendly. Providers are caring, concerning, and take preventative care. Both receptionists are very helpful and sweet. The clinic is well put together very clean and nice. Totally recommend if looking for a primary care physician.

If I could give them a 0 I would!!! On their site they lie!!! Saying that patient health and safety are their top priority, far from true! Not only have patient health and safety been disregarded, I've called and asked to speak with provider about this, I've been disregarded as well! Asked provider to call me 2 days ago and no response!!!

I brought in my mother a couple of weeks ago and I was very impressed by the nurse that brought us back. She was very professional, friendly and compassionate. I left there thinking that it had been the best customer service experience we've had in a while. We came in this week again for my mother's follow up and was brought back by a different nurse. It was the exact same experience, I asked the girl for the previous nurse because I didn't see her and I was informed that she was assisting another patient and in fact she is the office manager, her name is Griselda. I mentioned that I was impressed before but now I'm in AWE!! Based on my experience I can see why the staff is so amazing, she is a blueprint of what we as patients expect from managers. I would have never known she was a manager because she seemed so humble and caring without ever mentioning her position. I have been to many doctor's offices but this was the first time I experienced a great overall feel, beginning from the second we walked into the building to the second we left the building. I highly recommend this clinic.

I was looking for a vision center or an optometrist and this location was first on google. So I called the number and asked my question. The lady told me I had the wrong number bc they are a medical office. I politely told her she may want to have someone check google to correct the problem and she hung up on me! I’m incredulous and super unhappy with being hung up on so here’s my review.

This was my first and last visit to Optima Medical. I was sat outside because l had a cough. I was wearing a mask as required. I was the only person sent outside to wait. After waiting 30minutes outside Someone cam and tool my vitals Then I sat 15more minutes outside before the Nurse Practitioner came out. She asked me what was going on I told her I had cough I thought was from my sinuses. All she did was listen to my heart and lungs. She never looked at my throat that I said was sore. She recommended over the counter antihistamine, cough medicine she did say should she would call in a prescription for some cough pearls. Then waited another 30 minutes for a doctor's note and finally had to go back inside and find out about my note. I feel like I was a second class citizen. Not at all pleased with my visit. I will not be back. And I will be not recommend them to anyone.

Called to make an appointment. Asked what insurance we had and I stated it’s TriCare.. Turns out husband went to appointment and had to pay out of pocket because they don’t accept TriCare. Thanks for the lack of information. If the clinic didn’t accept our insurance, the female I spoke to should have mentioned it. Also got hung up on the first time I was told to “hold.”

Dr. Wilde is no longer at the business. They can't tell you where he is either but I called my insurance company and they found him for me. He is too awesome for me to go anywhere or to anyone else.

Price Transparency! They tried to gouged me for $125 to write a prescription during my covered annual exam. Not recommended since Dr Herrod retired. Don't go there I won't again! Also they didn't know my name when filing lab work. Even tho I had been going there for 15 years. Demand Price Transparency!
