This is a super awesome fine dining Italian Styled Cafe right off Ocean Blvd on the Island. This place is over the top amazing! Everything they served us was not only delicious beyond compare but a culinary work of art. The ambience of this place is incredible with all the pine wood paneling and wine racks. Wine Cask tops and fine bottle art we loved everything about this little Cafe. All the staff where incredible so happy, friendly and inviting. Our waiter Mikey, was super experienced and knowledgeable about all facets of the menu, he could describe each and every dish they serve far better then the menus description. If your not sure what you want just tell him what you prefer flavor wise and what wine flavors you like and he can find the perfect meal and wine to compliment it for you. They have a awesome selection of incredible house wines that are very delicious and I strongly suggest going with one that pairs well with you entree. Peter was the co-owner and personally inquired with each and every guest if their dining experience was up to expectations, I could unconditionally assure him that we lacked for nothing. Everything exceeded our imagination and we will be frequent customers now that we have sampled their amazing cuisine. I'm giving them a top 3 best rating. Utterly delicious. Kudos! One spacific delicacy I would suggest the Poached Pear Salad, The Gnocchi, and the House Special Mamma Luci Veal, paired with thier House Special Chianti. The Tiramisu we had for dessert was the crowning jewl of the evening. Peter also provided a complimentary glass of their in house made Lemon Cello as a final dessert Liqour for the evening.

Exceeded my expectations by far!! This was a true Italian restaurant and the food was amazing. Not only that, they were very attentive and a pleasure to chat with. Several people made sure we had everything we needed and the prices were excellent, especially considering the high quality. Robbie was our server and he was amazing!

Great tasting genuine Italian food. Variety of wines available. We made a reservation and that seemed to be a good idea. We sat outside and it was very warm that night. They did have fans going outside to try to help curb the heat. Within a few blocks from the beach and multiple little shops.

Our server, Robbie, was awesome! He took the time to help talk us through some of the wine options that we did not know about and made sure we got something that we both enjoyed! Lobster Ravoli was delicious and left me wanting a second order of it. Salmon Sole Mio was probably the most well cooked piece of salmon I have ever had. I strongly recommend it! And not to mention the bread; even the bread was incredible! The only change I would have made is to add cheese to the Bruschetta, but that is more of a personal preference.

Stopped in for dinner during our trip to Siesta Key. Food was good and service was friendly and quick. The portions were filling and left us with no room for dessert. Great selection of wines either by the bottle or glass.

Favorite restaurant during our entire 1.5 week stay in Siesta Key. We came here on a whim.... walking around looking for a place open for Thanksgiving dinner. Best Italian food!!!! This chef must be cooking with his heart. The sauce is flavorful, and best I've had. So good. Best done as dine-in for the best experience. It's really good quality food. My only criticism? The serving of fresh bread was tiny...

Very good Italian restaurant. Homemade pasta is excellent. We had the linguine with Bolognese. I had the grouper fillet with risotto and fresh vegetables. Presentation was excellent the grouper was done perfectly. My husband had the yellow fin tuna which was the catch of the day. Loved the preparation also served with risotto and asparagus. They serve fresh bread with olive oil for dipping complementary. We ordered an appetizer of marinated olives and it was served over a bed of arugula and drizzled with balsamic glaze. Very nice. We enjoyed a bottle of their house wine. I thought the whole experience was excellent. I wish I had room for dessert. The adjoining party had ordered the cannoli and we got a look at them as they were being served and they were as big as hot dog rolls!

Delicious meals!! Orders lasagna and chicken parmigiana. My girlfriend said the best chicken parmigiana. Restaurant could use a little updating of dining area but otherwise, you won’t be disappointed.

Wow!! Simply amazing! We had great service with Suri, Mike, and one other amazing young lady (I forgot her name). The garlic bread with melted cheese was divine. We loved our house salad with arugula and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My husband had the delicious Linguine Pescatora, and I had the filet mignon which was loaded with delicious mushrooms, along with sautéed spinach. We had an incredible chocolate ice-cream dessert which paired beautifully with their superb chocolate martini!! What an epic meal!! We can't wait to go back again. Thank you!!

Great service, great food and cosy feel to the restaurant. My husband and I went here for dinner when we were visiting his family in Florida.the food was delicious and the team were very sensitive to our dietary restrictions. My husband and I are GF,DF and red meat free which makes it difficult often in restaurants. Jessica looked after us, being very clear on which options we could have and how the menu could be adapted. We had the mussels and grilled calamari for appetisers and the the salmon special for dinner with a side of fries and veggies! Food was delicious! Would recommend if you are in Siesta Keys

Another above average Italian restaurant in Siesta Key. As an appetizer, My wife had a pear salad which was soaked in white wine, cinnamon and goat cheese. Something I wished I tried. We both had veal entrees. (Milanese and Parmigiana). Very thin and tender.

Cafe Gabbiano never disappoint s. Best service. Best atmosphere and above all excellent food. Many thanks to Kris and Jessica for making our 1st year anniversary dinner as special as our wedding reception.

We ate on Christmas Day. Unannounced they offered a limited menu with almost no pasta at the Italian restaurant. The choices were very disappointing and maybe average at best. A skimpy Caesar salad was buried in dressing. Mussels were plentiful, but bland. Garlic was in abundance on everything. Service was extremely slow. There are better places to eat.

Very good and well prepared Italian food. Very friendly service. Good vegetarian options. On the pricey side.

I have yet to visit this restaurant but today I spoke with one of the owners on the phone about a future wedding reception dinner. He was very informative and helpful. He gave me his time and was very kind. He genuinely seems like he wants to do business. Looking forward to visiting this location in the future. The menu online looks amazing!

Planned a destination beach wedding and when I realized how expensive most other options were in the area I was relieved to have someone mention Cafe Gabbiano might be within our budget. Good parking. The food was delicious, the staff was on point all night (with special requests) and they did a beautiful job setting up the room/decor. It turned out beautifully and the key lime pie was fantastic! Highly recommend!!

Our family reunion dinner here was spectacular! The accommodations & service by Marc and the servers was 5 stars. The food was delicious, fresh and has the taste of homemade Italian food. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks for making our night so special!

Intimate and smart dining establishment, set back slightly from busy Ocean Boulevard but still part of the vibe. Excellent food. Generous portions. Indoor and outdoor dining, both of which are enjoyable.

Me and a friend went on an outing together after being stressed during the first few weeks of college and stopping by Siesta Key for a while, so of course we had no idea how beautiful the inside of this restaurant would be after looking for the closest place to eat! Everything from the atmosphere to the staff was absolutely phenomenal, and the food was to die for! Our waitress Alexandria was extremely kind and we had an enjoyable conversation about college life too! She offered suggestions that were a great help in making our choices. I had the lobster ravioli with a Shirley Temple, and needless to say it made me love ravioli again despite typically not liking it. The fried calamari was perfectly crispy and the staff checked in on our experience multiple times to make sure everything was alright. The price for two people was not too bad either! It was around the same price we spent buying groceries at Publix. Overall, if you're not sure where to go for a nice meal after a long day at the beach, this place is sure to make your day even brighter than it started!

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to so far!! Ambience was amazing. Food was delicious. Truffle cheese ravioli was delicious & flavorsome. Burrata was one of best I’ve had so far!! Crème Brûlée was light and yum. If you are in Siesta key village and want fine dining experience for date night - I highly recommend this restaurant..

Had a great Christmas dinner. Very yummy. Didn't get pictures of our dinners because we started eating them. Lol. They were both great. This pear salad is phenomenal. I will be back.
