Delicious and authentic homemade style Mexican food. Everything was very fresh and well prepared. The Huarache's were excellent. As were the chicken Fujita, tostadas, enchiladas. The red chilli sauce is homemade and excellent very hot! Dine instead or outdoors. Very reasonably priced.

Visiting out of town and was looking for a dinner spot. Drove by and said why not! The staff was friendly and the service was great. The bocalitos with steak was the best! The beef in the taco salad needed a little more seasoning but overall was a cute little place. The desserts are good too!

Thank you for the best Mexican meal we have ever had, north or south of the border. Incredible, authentic, delicious, extremely generous portions. The portions were huge, as a matter of fact. I don't know how you do it!!!!! We could get three meals out of one entree. Our server was so friendly too. Everything was very fresh and so hot it never cooled off the whole time we were dining, which took quite a while. Amazing. This is a small place that you could easily miss driving by, but don't. You will not regret eating here. We've had continually great meals on our vacation in Sarasota, but this was the least expensive and by far the best.

Good food, and pleasant service: I'd give them five stars but it's a bit salty for my palate.

A really great place I’d never been to. Kind of a hole in the wall that you need to know where it is but once you visit, yum! There were a lot of different dishes than the usual Mexican fare. I will have to go back to try some more of their dishes!

It was so good totally recommend to everyone. Well definitely be back whenever I’m up in Sarasota. We drove up from Naples and my family and I randomly decided to stop by. So glad we did. I found my New Mexican restaurant because they had the best chilaquiles I’ve had at a restaurant. My sister had a grilled chicken Torta which she also loved. My mom had tinga Gordidas which I would also recommend! The restaurant overall was super clean and quiet as well. Not to mention the staff was super helpful and offered the best service:).

Authentic Mexican restaurant that is well-kept with delicious and manicured food. This is not a greasy, oily, sloppy place. Guacamole is clearly fresh, the salsa is home-made (not out of a jar like many restaurants), steak is tender and good cuts of meat, shrimp tacos are HUGE and delicious. Probably best bang for your buck not only in the Mexican genre, but all-around in regards to Sarasota. Did I mention the owners also operate the place??

Great quality of food when they first opened but ordered tonight and for steak taco had mostly gristle, lacked flavor from previous meals. Not sure whats happened in last 2-3 months but definitely a difference. 😞

Excellent! The bowl was amazing! One of the best healthy meal options at all the local Mexican restaurants. So delicious. My husband got the chicken fajitas and i found them very tasty. Great chips and salsa at the table, too! We will definitely be back!

A little hole in the wall, they have enough booths and tables for larger parties. I meant to take a picture but couldn’t stop eating, soooo Good! They had so many salsa options. We went as a large party and all of us loved our entrees! Our kids loved the rice. Even ordered some to go. Recommend if you like authentic and flavorful food

Best authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve visited. Fresh chips and salsa and amazing staff + chefs. The red salsa is the perfect amount of heat and flavor! Everything on the menu is flavorful especially the fajitas dish that come beautifully presented. Great atmosphere with music and a pretty dining area outside!!

Food was great, but the service was upsetting. Natalie had a hospitable vibe but wasn't very pleasant in her service. She didn't greet herself, nor offered me napkins and eating utensils. She offered me tortilla chips with salsa and I never received it. She never checked on me, only time she did is when I was finished with my meal. I'll end up coming back, but hope the service will be better next time.

Absolutely delicious!!! The only thing better than the food are the people. Jose was such a great guy and took such good care of us, we came back the next day for the Sunday special. Susanna help us out Sunday and she was equally as amazing. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and friendly people. We absolutely love this place. Wish I could give more stars.

Phenomenal Mexican cuisine. Reasonably priced. Not your standard fare (tho that's available, too), and also includes uncommon protein choice of chorizo (and eggs) - one of my favorites! Hubby says it is THE place for nachos - they are LOADED and delish (real cheese, too), and even chips by themselves or with the mildly spicy queso are uber-crispy goodness. We tell everyone about this spot now! Has outdoor patio, too.

The food was delicious and fresh which is very important to me. Very friendly staff. It was pleasure to be there. They also have homemade deserts that I could not try unfortunately due to diet but looked very delicious.

This place is so freaking good! I’m from California so I’m picky about Mexican food. The veggie tostado is amazing, roasted cauliflower and so many veggies. I had them not put green peppers for me and extra cilantro. they have 3 homemade salsas and they are all so good. Watch out the light one is ridiculously spicy. The service is really slow and to go orders get served first. Sorry but you need to hire a new waitress.
