I would actually give this place 2.5 stars if I could. I have no idea why this restaurant has such glowing reviews. The food here was ok but nothing special. Menu wasn't too varied. The Naan was partially undercooked, and seasoning in curry was underwhelming. The service was very good and the food arrived hot and fairly quickly. The prices were very high for portions which are not generous at all. I can think of many other Indian restaurants in Hamburg with much better food and way better prices. I don't see myself going back here.

I recently dined at Welcome India in Hamburg, and it was nothing short of a phenomenal experience. The food was truly amazing, exceeding all my expectations. I can honestly say that I've never had Indian cuisine this delicious in my life. The flavors were incredibly authentic and vibrant . I asked Indian very very spicy. As for the pricing, it was surprisingly welcoming. Quality food at reasonable prices is a rarity these days, and this restaurant nails it on both fronts. To top it off, the staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to an overall excellent dining experience. I would highly recommend Welcome India to anyone looking for an unforgettable Indian meal in Hamburg. Trust me; you won't be disappointed

Good food and great Ambience. Just a little more costlier than other Indian restaurants but the quality of food is worth it.

This is what I expected that the Indian restaurant did the things. I bought the beer from the restaurant. Bill was 4.79 euro. I will pay 20$ for this. I never expect Indian restaurant do the things like this. I am from India. And it’s happened in Germany. It’s very bed welcome india restaurant. Respect your name and fame.

Good indian food, particularly the lamb with coconut sauce

A lovely place for Indian food in Hamburg. The ambience is nice inside as well there are tables outside if you like to enjoy open air. The owner was very courteous and reserved table for us. Food is mouthwatering including starters. I would highly recommend and would love to go there again in future.

Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and it was tasty. They made it extra spicy on demand. Garlic Naan was thin, crisp and fresh. Mango lassi was also fresh and good.

Had lunch here and food was delicious. Though they have a terrace, I recommend to sit inside since this is facing the main road which‘s heavy traffic.

Best Mango lassi in Hamburg, must try! Tandoori chicken and kabab could be improved. Butter garlic naan is really soft, good one. The fish curry is good with rice. Sweet dishes are average, would not recommend.

Today I went to this restaurant oh my god the food was excellent . The service was very excellent all staff members were very nice and cooperative . Review outside was very nice little bit noisy .the scrumptious sizzler was so delicious with garlic naan and daal makhni was so good . The vanilla ice was like a homemade and so tasty the best Indian restaurant in Hamburg 😍😍😍

We ordered paneer pakora , it tasted very good with the mint chutney. Everything else was bad , biryani tasted like tomato rice Butter chicken tasted like ready made tomato sauce gravy Chicken tikka was hard as a stone.

Visited this restaurant couple of days ago. The waitress was very polite and service was really fast. Loved the butter naans, very crispy and almost tasting like the ones from tandoor back home. However was left with a lot to desire with the curry, hence 1 stars reduced. I am a big fan of tandoori roti/naan . This for sure will bring me back again here.

Köstlich! I ordered Food for my son's birthday and it was really tasty, The guests were amused and the restaurant have sent me the food in good-looking vessels to keep in the middle of a party hall and it preserves food warm for more than 2 hours. Highly recommended!!!

I have ordered Chicken Madras today. And I am really disappointed with flavours. It’s doesn’t have coconut sauce and taste was sweet in the curry. Won’t recommend this restaurant specifically to Indians.
