Food is tasty and amazing, I ordered pesco sour as a cocktail, it was my first experience drinking a cocktail containes egg white and it was astonishingly great, As an authentic peruvian restaurant, food was totally satisfying in terms of quality and look and taste but in terms of quantity not at all. All in all I definitely recommend it if you close your eyes on quantity !

Das Rocoto in der Winterfeldtstraße ist im Sous-terrain gelegen und innen mit roten nackten Backsteinwänden ausgestattet, im ersten Moment fühlt es sich sehr behaglich und warm an, jedoch hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die Beleuchtung etwas zu hell war und dadurch die warme Atmosphäre etwas leidet. Aber das soll auch das Einzige gewesen sein, was ich überhaupt negativ anmerken kann und das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau. Insgesamt fühlt man sich dennoch im Rocoto wohl. Kommen wir nun zu den Hauptkategorien der Bewertung: Das Essen. Die Gerichte waren wundervoll. Als Vorspeise gab es das Ceviche Classico in medium scharf. Für den Standard Deutschen ist dieser Schärfegrad sicherlich völlig ausreichend, um die Schärfe noch als angenehm zu bewerten. Wer gerne scharf isst, sollte einen Schärfegrad höher bestellen, dann hat man etwas mehr „kick“ im Ceviche. Der Fisch war wunderbar frisch und zart, die beiden Maisvarianten sehr gut passend und die Marinade mit angenehmer Säure und leichter Schärfenote. Ich werde sicherlich das nächste Mal etwas mehr Schärfe verlangen. :-) Als Hauptspeise gab es den Oktopus mit Kartoffeln und dieser war teils kross aber insgesamt butterweich und sehr gut gewürzt. Das Chimmichurri schön frisch mit intensiver Knoblauch Note, einzig die Soße hätte für mich etwas mehr sein können (weil sie so lecker war). Der Nachtisch war auch sehr lecker, weil alle am Tisch bereits satt waren teilten wir uns zu dritt einen Nachtisch, um jeweils ein Löffel zu probieren. Auch die Bedienung ließ keine Wünsche offen, war sehr freundlich erläuterte alles und war sehr zuvorkommend. Insgesamt ein sehr positiver Besuch. Man sollte natürlich wissen, dass das Rocoto preislich nicht günstig aber für die Frische und die Qualität sehr fair ist.

This restaurant is a: must try in Berlin. Food is super delicious, the presentation of the food is beautiful. The chef seems to be very creative 👏. The staff is so nice ❤️. I had seen some negative comments about the staff but after my experience there I just say the service was great. If it was bad in the past, for sure they have worked on it. So I recommend to give it another chance. You won’t regret it.

One word: PERFECTION. Everything was so good! Specialty Elizabeth, she was so friendly and found us a table even though the place was fully booked and kept checking on us to make us feel comfortable. The presentation of the dishes makes you drool just by looking at them, and the flavors are 5/5! As a Peruvian, I recommend this place 100%.

The food is amazing. And not only the taste (that it's incredible) the presentation of the dishes is impeccable and the attention is really good. Would totally recommend this place and hope to come back soon.

Need to book ahead. We sat outside on a warm summer evening. The pisco sour was perfect, but the main star was the food. It was absolutely delicious, I savoured every single bite. I’m still thinking about the ceviche. The plating was impressive, too. I would have taken a star off because of the cold service, but since this is the case at most establishments in Berlin and the food was mind blowing I kept it at 5.

Food was quite amazing and probably the best Peruvian we’ve had in quite some time. Pulpo, ceviche, sea rice, and the cheesecake were stellar. Waitstaff was problematic. Should spend less time playing on their phone. Several tables around were annoyed. Even flagging down staff took forever to get noticed.

A very good Peruvian restaurant in Berlin. Here you can enjoy Peruvian cuisine (some traditional dishes have a new twist) in a relaxed atmosphere while drinking a good Pisco Sour. The owner Andres personally attends to his guests, so take advantage and ask him about the dishes.

Amazing food!!! I felt in Peru right away, the ceviche for me was the best dish. Nice , fresh fish. The waiters were incredible , really kind and they even spoke Spanish which is a total plus. Would definitely come back! It made me feel at home 🙌🏼

Excellent Peruvian restaurant with very kind service. We had the ceviche mix (the one that is a bit of each ceviche), the tuna one was excellent, and the fish servings were very generous. We also ordered the pork belly, at the beginning I did not like the pure too much, but when mixed with the sauce of the dish it became quite tasty. The pork belly was very well cooked, the caramelisation was achieved very well. Service was kind and quick. And the restaurant itself was quite cozy.

Lovely Peruvian restaurant with elegantly decorated dishes. The food tasted great as well, I in particular enjoyed the pumpkin puree that is served with a few of the dishes. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is good. The cocktails are a bit too strong for my taste, but that means at least they aren't ripping you off.

Very tasty and delicate dishes with good prices, especially for seafood lovers. Chicha morada is quite special, very refreshing!

Very cosy place with loft interior. Ceviche was great, desert was great and the best thing is fried corn that is served as compliment. You should ask for more if you feel like it.

Really nice vibes, the friendliest service and amazing food. We basically shared everything we ordered so I got a taste from as many dishes as possible, and honestly can't pick a favourite. Highly recommend the octopus and the pork belly! It is a little on the pricier side, but man what a meal

Though I'm not a pro on Peruvian food, and Bolivians would hate me for saying this, it tasted pretty legit and traditional. Also had a Peruvian colleague approve of the food, which means it's double legit. Either way, definitely worth checking out based on price and authenticity!

How delicious it all was! That time when I go to Rocoto for dinner and the next morning I'm dreaming of tuna tacos again. Thank you, for always being so delicious. We go to Rocoto for dinner at least once a month (the main thing is to remember to make a reservation). We always order mixed seviche and tuna tacos, which are two of my favorites.

Wir hatten ein ganz wunderbares Dinner im Rocoto und hatten mehrere Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte, die allesamt sehr lecker und von hoher Qualität waren. Besonderes Highlight waren die Dreierlei Ceviche als Vorspeise und der Pulpo zum Hauptgang, aber auch die Muscheln und Fleischgerichte waren ganz fantastisch und toll angerichtet. Ebenso waren die als Aperitifs und Digestifs servierten Drinks alle sehr gut. Der Service, bei dem wir uns an dieser Stelle nochmals ganz herzlich bedanken möchten, war jederzeit aufmerksam und rundet das großartige Gesamtbild wunderbar ab. Das Restaurant ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut erreichbar. Parken kann man im öffentlichen Verkehrsraum - einen exklusiven Parkplatz gibt es nicht.

I have been looking forever for pork belly that tastes like this!!! Thank you so much for having amazingly delicious food! The 3 ceviches were amazingly delicious, the fried yuca perfectly crunchy and sauced, and it all made me want to move back to Peru, so I say Rocoto does exactly what a restaurant aims for. Oh and the Pisco sour with passion fruit 🔥❤️. Already planning my multiple returns 🙌🏽
