The service here was really good. You can either get the full experience which includes all the meat, or you can order from a actual menu. They come around and bring the meat to your table and you can serve yourself salad, fruit and veggies at the salad bar. The restaurant was very clean. You have to wear a mask upon entry.

One of the best burger spots my family loves to eat at. Years of consistency! We love it there.

Food: I ordered a regular hamburger and chili fries. The hamburger had a thick patty with fresh veggies fillings, and a toasty bun. The chili cheese fries were a huge mound of crispy fries, zesty chili, and cheese, on top of it all! Plenty of options sandwiches, soups, salads, shakes, burritos, steak, breakfast, and dinner plates. Service: The the staff was extremely welcoming. Had a nice conversation with the cashier. My food came out with speed and accuracy. Final word: one of my favorites in Long Beach. Great burger stand with many options. Will come back!

Hands down, the best authentic restaurant that has been around for decades. EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD. I definitely go for their breakfast burritos. . Anything on the menu is amazing. Customer service is very warming and very caring for the customer . Thank you

My husband and I had been walking by this restaurant and saw an advertisement for a breakfast burrito and so we decided to try it. Definitely got our money’s worth and did not leave hungry. I like the fact that they have a self-serve station for coffee and beverages which gave me the freedom to take care of that on my own.

It’s Christmas Eve and I was having a terrible day with flight cancellations and delays and my dad and I ended up driving to LA for a different flight. We were tired and hungry so we stopped here and were greeted by friendly staff. We got burgers and they were very tasty and filling. Before we left one of the workers gave us some chocolates and I thought it was the sweetest thing and it made our day better. Glad to see restaurants display genuine hospitality :)

Good old fashioned American diner. Breakfast burritos are probably the best in Long Beach. I make sure to get one every week on the way to work. Fast service.

It was a very interesting restaurant. The employees spoke English and Spanish!! The staff were very nice; it was different seeing a stack of coffee cups. The food was pretty good; and the coffee was great. The waitress came around and refilled our coffee; it really was a different experience.

First of all I have been coming here for 20 years and love their food. But lately, they have very poor customer service and they have the nerve to give an attitude when they are the ones who made a mistake on an order wasting the customers time to have to remake it. To top it all off, they didn't even apologize when they were in the wrong. This is ridiculous and I will not come here ever again.

I came here because it was one of my dad’s favorite breakfast spots when he was still alive, and I was missing him. The breakfast burrito was one of the best I’ve ever had, crispy hash browns, fluffy eggs, sausage and bacon with cheese, and a delicious salsa neatly folded into a large burrito with expert distribution of each of the ingredients throughout for optimal variety in each bite. Everyone working and dining were very friendly. It has that classic American diner feel, with Mexican options.

1st time eating at the restaurant, very pleasant atmosphere and the customer service was excellent. Everything was explained to me regarding the food. I was able to switch out a particular meat for turkey because I can't eat pork. Food was delivered to my table, the waitresses did come around the table offering refills.

Really good hamburgers with fresh lettuce and tomatoes and never soggy like other places. And the breakfasts are the best in town. My go to always in Long Beach. Across from Costco on Willow.

In town visiting family. Golden Eagle is my Go To for breakfast. Good food, fair prices, great people. Can't ask for more. Do yourself a favor and satisfy your hunger here. Do your community a favor and support a good local buisness

Our very first visit and we were very impressed. The Manager was very friendly, cordial and professional. We ordered burgers, my wife a garden burger and me a double bacon cheese burger. I have to admit, for a charbroiled burger, they were very tasty and most of all FRESH. The staff gave us a warm welcome when we first walked in. I would HIGHLY recommend this burger restaurant . I guarantee you won't be disappointed..... remember, you heard it and read it here first.

I dint live near the restaurant. It is convenient wheni am near a recourse. A friend and co-worker introduced me to this establishment. To my surprise it is Delicious meals and excellent service. I enjoy a T-bone medium and hash brown for breakfast.

It was a really unique restaurant. Both Spanish and English were spoken by the staff. The staff was excellent, and it was unusual to see a stack of coffee cups. The coffee was excellent, and the cuisine was decent. It was a truly different experience  we will return here soon!

I had steak and eggs and I believe I had a some hot chocolate extra ordinary clean Place friendly service I could go on and is beautiful to have a place where you can go get a meal that's good they didn't skip on anyting unbelievable people that's why I give it six stars sorry five stars I would have gave it $6 but you guys know what I mean it's crazy will I go back of course

Met with Jim, one of the owners there and the entire experience was pleasant. We stopped in for lunch during work and Jim and thee staff made us feel at home, conversed a bit, and made sure all our needs were met. Will definitely be going back again!

Food was fresh and hot. They do not appear to use additional salt and none on fries or onion rings, giving patron opportunity to add it themselves. Good service.

I had the privilege of literally being one of their first customers the day they opened . I was a 12 year old punk kid, and now I am a 47 year old grandfather, and still eating here! That is a testament to their food. Breakfast: Chicken breast and eggs is the go-to. Their chicken breast are slim, which I like, they char'em just right with the crispy edges, which I like. Their French toast is fluffy and always delivers! They are a family ran business which is always a plus. Jim and Lou, their kids, and their entire staff are always ready to care for you, and make sure your eating experience is a great experience! Waitresses will make sure your coffee cup is full!! !!!

I've been coming to this place since 2010. When I want good American comfort food,this is my only go to place. This is one of those gems where everything on the menu is good. The best quality food on any given day 😋 THANKS TO THE WHOLE STAFF!

Breakfast isn't easy to master. You can taste the experience in the food ! All the cooks are seasoned, fast and efficient! The food and service is great. The people are extremely nice and even know you order at the counter then find a seat, the owner still came over to greet us because we completely showed our out of towners look. We had coffee and the lady lady came around several times to refill it even know they don’t technically have waiters. Excellent!

My husband and a friend had the carne asada burrito, thow teens had chicken tender plates. Had we known the plates are so filling we would have bought one for both girls. I had the chicken brakfast plate. Again big portions and so delicious 😋 😍 😊 ❤️. We had been working all morning on an Eagle Scout projuct, so I was too hungry to take pictures. 😋 Though their presentation of each plate was enhanced by the taste.

Been coming to this location for over 10 years! The staff are kind and friendly, the restaurant is spotless and cozy, and the food is consistently great quality. It’s a classic diner, but they really care about the food. Some of my faves: avocado omelet with their homemade pico de gallo; French toast; 1/4 lb cheeseburger with fat fries. They orange bang in the drink fountain and self-serve hot coffee. You won’t regret having comfort food at this wonderful, special diner.

Usually pretty nice. Order from here almost every week. Food is pretty good. BUT be sure to check your order before leaving, I ordered and got charged for a bacon burger, got home and no bacon :(

Old school, classy establishment. Solid. The food is basic, not a lot of options compared to the other big chain places. But this is what you want in a classic all American diner. The portions are large, fairly priced and the place is kept clean. The staff are professional and courteous. I always admire places like this that keep the classic vibes in a no frills straight up setting. Will definitely come back again.
