SAS has two lounges at Terminal 5. SAS Gold Lounge and SAS Business Lounge. If you stay in a way that info desk is located in front of you, SAS Gold Lounge is on your left hand side (which has a view over runway) and SAS Business is on your right hand side (which has a view over the departure hall). If you have Star Alliance Gold card or SAS EuroBonus Gold or Diamond card whether you sit in economy or business class, you can use the SAS Gold Lounge. If you have a business ticket, you can use the SAS Business Lounge. If you have both (Gold card or Business ticket), you can choose either of those lounges. SAS Gold Lounge advantages: - catering is a little better, - has a view over the runway, - it is brighter (lights from outside), - there are sleeping chairs, - there are more tables which you can put your laptop and sit behind them - there are more rooms which you can talk with your mobile inside them, SAS Business Lounge advantages: - more restrooms - a playroom for children

Nice surroundings with several seating options, good WiFi and friendly service. I was happy with the simple soup, fresh bread and the mesclun salad but I would have liked to see some fruit, other than small red apples, and better quality cookies to go with the coffee! One thing that should be remembered by the personnel ... . closing the door to the service room adjacent to the food area is a must .... as the noise from dishwashing & personnel working there was very loud and disturbing! My 4 hours at the lounge went by rather quickly and made my transit stay at the Arlanda airport a lot more pleasant!

Currently (beginning November) the kitchen is closed for repairs due to water damage, and it has been for a couple of weeks already. Will be for another 4 weeks ca. Still full service but disposable utensils. Gold or not, quite a crowded (then small) lounge in the mornings, and a bit dated. Many chairs are made in cloth/fabric and wears stains on the seat cushions and armrests... Food and beverages are good, just above average. Service...I wouldn't know, most of the times there is only one person trying to keep up with clearing dishes. So - all in all - there's definitely room for improvement lounge management.

Nice lounge in ARN airport, not crowded at all, even if it was rush hour. There are plenty of seats, very nice design, not a great variety of food, but at least it was tasty. I gave them four stars just because I don’t found it proper to have soda drinks like in a fast food. For such a lounge I was expecting for bottled drinks. Otherwise, I liked this lounge.

Poorly signed, and you will have little time to spend there anyway, as you can't enter the terminal more than three hours before your flight, and it will take over two hours (if you are very lucky) to get through security. If you do make it through, and find it - a challenge in itself - be prepared to be disappointed! If you eat meat, there is some soup and a slightly unappetising salad. If you are vegetarian there is some bread and butter. If you are vegan, just resign yourself to some nachos. No juice or fresh drinks - limited drinks from a self service machine and a hot drink machine that couldn't make a latte when I selected it. Complete waste of money

Compared to similar lounges around Europe this is mediocre. It's always obvious that they want to "teach" us to eat "healthy" (?) instead of trying to offer real quality! To be frank - really boring food! But staff is very nice and helpful, not there fault that the management is trying to be what they think is "modern"...

It seems the designer believes business travellers do so in large groups as the space is set up as a series of grouped sofas and chairs. No one is wearing mask, which it might be due to the Sweden super relax measures during the pandemic, still, not comfortable to hear the man near man coughing with no mask. The space is cold, we find 2 empty seats and the area was too cold to stay, so we have to move to a sharing area with perfect extrangers. The rest of the decoration is alright, light is decent, there's a big window looking at the runway. The food consists in a buffet of cold salads, soup and breads, pretty tasty. There's also a coffee station with some biscuits and tea and ofcourse, coffee. Anyways, travelling is back and as unpleasant as usual.

Great views looking over the runways, and loads of different seating options. I recommend the almost lie flat comfy chairs all the way in the back, in the quiet zone. They have a decent salad bar, and four entree choices (salmon, potato salad, chicken skewers and tomato soup today). Hot, cold and hard drinks you might expect. Wifi is pretty good. All in all a nice place to take a break.

A nice lounge when there are 10 people in, but normally it is severely overcrowded. Arlanda is the only airport where I have to queue for a toilet visit in lounges. No wonder there's not much to eat, and what is there tastes less than pleasant, though one can find some drinks. It is still much better than the old lounge in the old domestic terminal, which I hope I will never have to visit again.

Food range is not what it once was and the move to paper plates and wooden cutlery is a clear disappointment. Far too few toilets which creates queues. I start to feel little benefit to the gold lounge over the regular one.

It's ok, not the usual extravagant lounge experience. Food selection is very limited, sparse and of mediocre quality. Everything is served in cheap unstable paper cups that gradually dissolves. But if you want a quiet moment and a coffee it works.

Sometimes good, sometimes bad, never great nowadays. The space is nice, but it’s frequently crowded. Food is very simple with hot dogs having become a theme recently. Still, if it’s not crowded it beats the common area. A tip though - if you don’t want alcohol, peek into the silver lounge. Sometimes there’s less crowd in there.

A bit crowded and the drinks are average but it was modern and clean.

One of SAS' main hubs. The lounge is getting old, too small and the offering is usually ok, but I tend to eat somewhere else at the airport before arriving at the lounge. Its not known to be the best one to be diplomatic. Both the lounge and Arlanda as an airport is in need of an upgrade. Cleanliness in the loungethough, is usually good (except for the serving-area during rush hour) and the staff are service-minded ensuring that everything is cleaned quite quickly. Sit back, recharge and relax.

For an early midweek flight it was top because there were plenty of seats left and the cold breakfast selection was very good. Just not many warm selections and they were empty most of the time. Cleaniness could be improved here and there.

There are two lines here. The "basic" one I would give it two stars. It is probably the worst Star Alliance lounge in Europe which is unacceptable as the hub of SAS. Food is limited to a few vegetarian salads (one contains traces of salmon), cookies, bread and butter and a limited selection of drinks. The gold lounge has similar food even though the salad had a lot more salmon and there is also a hot dish as well as more beverages. Still quite poor for a Star Alliance hub lounge. The space is also quite limited in both lounges and sometimes we have to wait for a table.

Probably the worst lounge I have ever stopped by. Arrived at ~18:00. Expected to depart at 21:25. So thought it would make sense to spend few hours there. Firstly the choice of food was miniscule. They asked to leave at 19:05 as they decided to simply close it (it is meant to close half an hour before last flight departure). I have demanded my money back, but they couldn't assist. Assistant was trying to smooth it by providing meal voucher, hence not 1 star but 2. Awful experience. Never coming back.

Lovely lounge great selection of food and drink and really nice staff. Needs a bit of an in depth clean but it's the people who use it like everywhere that cause the issues of they would only tidy up after themselves then it would make a big difference, but all in all a great lounge

The lounge offers a much needed resting place for travellers who have a long wait for transit. Decent food is on offer and there is a good variety of drinks, both soft and alcoholic. The are tables for eating as well as soft comfy seating is for those who would need to stretch their legs. It is situated in Terminal 5 and about 15-20 minutes walk after passing the security check (water and electronic equipment are now permitted at Stockholm-Arlanda so no need to get rid of your water bottle or remove the laptop and phones from your bags). Due to the ongoing construction at the terminal, there is a lack of signage but just follow the main route, the lounge on the left when you reach a Y-junction.

Good relaxing lounge next to gate 1. We were visiting at breakfast time, so food choices included porridge, scrambled eggs, cold cuts for sandwiches, plus coffee, tea, beer and wine. Good place to relax and maybe even take a shower between flights

Far from the best lounge out there, but at least for locals the food spread is not terrible. However, if you're looking for a hot breakfast or lunch, this isn't the place go to. They do at least have fast internet access which is a plus.

Great relaxing environment. Just what you need after the stress of getting to the airport. Nice selection of beverages and nice food before the flight. We enjoyed this lounge a lot.

This is generally a quiet lounge with good WiFi throughout. They always surprise you with their soups. Today, it was Indian Dal. Lots of good quality food (not a huge variety but nice). Good amount of drink variety available as well. To use the showers, you need to ask the receptionist, who shall open it for you. It has the Swedish sparse aesthetic but getting dated now.

Great location for work in between flights or just relaxing before take off

SAS Business lounge... Not the Gold lounge. Convenient, but very crowded each of the three times I've been. It is the typical airport lounge, limited snack foods, coffee and beer/wine. WiFi works, about half the seats do not have charge points. Perhaps the gold lounge is better.

Extremely disappointed. They have a few drink machines, some salad options and some crisps. But this cost me €27 (or €39 if you pay at the door) and I don't think I've ever experienced more of a rip off in my life. I've had school dinners that are better than this. Edit: as I was leaving at 20:40, they had taken all the salad bar away but they were restocking the bread. Maybe they were restocking the salad bar or maybe it was just done for the night?

Nice and clean, more than enough food and beverage options, but It was crowded

Lounge was alright. Only quibble was the lack of proper sized beer glasses - I'm not looking for a jumbo sized chalice, but a drinking glass that holds more than 6 ounces would be nice.

COVID has certainly reduced the number of options of lounges in many airports including Arlanda. However I must say that this is the better Lounge at the Arlanda airport. It is spacious with a great layout with a variety of seating options. They pay great attention to COVID control measures. There is a great variety of drinks, the service is great and the WiFi is good. The choice of snacks however could improve. All said, it is a good place to read, catch up with work or watch something on your device.

Lovely lounge! A delightful place to relax in on my 8h layover. I was glad to be able to snack, have a few cuppas and a glass of wine!

Tragic breakfast offering. Cereals, cold hard-boiled eggs, cheap processed meats, and some watery 0.0005% fruit yogurt. I’m glad access was via loyalty points and I didn’t directly pay for it. The place was also rammed with people, very difficult to find a seat without someone/their luggage draped over it.

Closed for maintenance. Last time I was at Arlanda Airport it was closed due to Covid-19. Business class lounge serves hot dogs for lunch. Seriously disappointing SAS.

an hour before departure and an hour before the last flight, I enter the lounge, which I find. Thread! Big 0! The soup was left from the food. Bravo SAS.

Went for an early flight. The lounge had anything you could expect. If say the breakfast offering was quite Nordic centric and I'd like to see a slightly more international assortment. However I believe this lounge caters mostly for Scandinavians

Decent lounge, made 4 hour wait quite easy. Had one variant of tap beer and some wines as well as snacks and cold salads. Did enjoy though understand that when you pay for Business ticket, you would want something more

If you're somehow able to get in, congrats. This lounge is great.
