Popular restaurant on the Siliguri - Gangtok route. We were a group of four families with seven children who stopped by for lunch and were seated promptly. Bhavana attended to us and ensured we were properly taken care of. The food was delicious and with sufficient quantity. They have clean restrooms which is a boon for travellers.

We came here for lunch.. If you are looking for a typical dhaba kinda food then this is the place.. Restaurant Ambiance is good.. We ordered: Tandoori roti Butter chicken Tandoori paneer Jeera rice Daal fry All the dishes were good.. Service was good.. Staff Robina was very kind and friendly.. Very limited water to wash hands which disappointed us but later on arrangements were made...

Santa Banta Dhaba is located in Siliguri. The ambiance is nice with sofa as well as chair seating. We tried the Paneer Veg Dum Biryani which comes with raita. There were few pieces of paneer in the biryani. The grain of the rice was a little hard that what I am used to. The mushroom biryani was good as well. The Mushroom Tikka was great in taste. Overall, a decent meal.

While travelling from Bagdogra to Gangtok, our driver took us to this restaurant for lunch. Food was good but the service took lot of time. Everything from taking the order, delivery of the food and even the billing took time.

If you are searching for a decent place where you can have your comfort food then this could be your option. Service, ambience is decent. Now most importantly coming to the taste of food which was served to us was delicious.

Had a stop at this cafe to had breakfast while travelling towards Sevoke from NJP Station. Loved the food and ambience over here. Nice food and we were served by Reshma & Raveena. They really took care of our orders very well. A must visit for all those who are looking for a good breakfast joint while travelling towards the Hills.

Food was average, service was extremely slow.. many customers went back disappointedly... We waited for more than 45 minutes!! And the food was very oily too. But the tea was awesome.

Recently I visit this restaurant while traveling from Siliguri to Gangtok, we tried ALU payaz paratha and alu Gobi Paratha and masala omlette.

Well decorated restaurant with good food options. We ordered Lacha Paratha - soft and huge , Chicken Maharaja - good in quantity but the cook made it bit salty , egg tarka - awesome taste 👍, veg manchow soup - was yummy, sweet and salt soda - good in taste. Quite expensive though. One incident, few boys reached the restuarant while we were having our lunch, they misbehaved with the waiter and we're drinking alcohol openly and making noise in the restaurant. I doubt how often it happens but not at all accepted. Very courteous waiter !! One boy forgot to ask his name very cool and great hospitality by him . 😁

It's my first visit to this restaurant. Good ambience. Wide variety of dishes both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Good seats to accommodate four, six persons. Items are good in taste.

Food was not that Good, Quality of the food is not upto the mark, It needs to improve and develop more, They taste of food items are also so so, but staff are friendly and kind.

Probably the worst food i have ever had. And the behaviour of staff is pathetic. Chef needs serious lessons on how to cook. And staff needs to learn how to behave. I wonder how they got 4 stars. Looks like fake reviews. Please don’t visit here. There are plenty of options nearby.

Food was very tasty and good quality. But was surprised with high price and low quantity. Ordered on 1/6/22 fish curry & fish tandoor one piece was served in each plate @ 650-750/- each. Very unrealistic quantity and felt the staff was making attempt to inflate bills.

We had veg food and it was exceptionally good. Proper dhaba vibes. The chef is a woman. Hospitality was very good. Recommended if you are on your way to Gangtok and want to stop for lunch.

Two stars for the food which was good. Ordered punjabi sabji, roti, dal makhni, dal fry and rice. service was very slow. Ac facility was good and they had female staff. They said chapati was not possible to make in short time as they didnt had enough staff so I think that was disappointing. Accessible from main road. Good washrooms and wash basins.

Quality of the foods are quite good. But price is little bit high. Food quality was much more better previously. Specially the quality and serving glass of Lassi getting worse than earlier.

Well maintained, good food, good service. What I especially liked is that one wall was decorated with pictures of prominent Indian women with an warrior background. Found it quite expensive though.

I loved this place as the food which I have tasted was good in taste and quality .. service was also good but the staff members were less so we need to wait for giving orders ..the ambience and everything was nice ...I loved this place basically .
