Seriously stylish and well thought out, yet reasonable, accessible and very accommodating! Bent & Corenila were fantastic hosts. We were fortunate enough to stay in two of their three apartments to accommodate a changeover, so we stayed in the first floor apartment for one night before moving up to the stunning penthouse/studio style apartment on the roof. Throughout the properties the design details are on point. The spaces are clearly and beautifully thought out, with a a scandinavian chic inspired finish - a refreshing touch in the tropics. Don't panic caribbean lovers, there were plenty of Bajan design touches here and there including an awesome world map printed onto a used rum barrel which Corneilia conceptualised and made herself. When we arrived we were greeted by Mark their property manager who was really helpful and friendly, making sure that a bottle of wine was perfectly chilled in the fridge and a thoughtful note was left on the whiteboard to welcome my fiancee and I. The penthouse is now our favourite property in Barbados, a stunningly thought out concept, with ample cooking facilities, a red Scavoli kitchen that perfectly matched my guitar, and a Weber BBQ outside which made life very easy. We didn't bother to use the blinds at night to allow the sun to gently wake us through the East facing windows, and it was beautiful waking up at night to see a full moon and the stars overhead through the velux style window above the king size bed. It was the perfect getaway with ample privacy upstairs, although a friendly and welcoming community of neighbours on hand (as well as the dogs) for a chat or a pet respectively! Location wise, it's just over 5 minutes from Oistins where there's everything one might need to do a good food shop or buy fresh fruit and vegetables from the local stands. Don't forget the fish market too! We bought some Amber Jack which had come fresh off a fishing boat and was filleted in front of us, a true bajan experience! Corneilia arrived towards the end of our stay downstairs, so on our last night we took down a bottle of my homemade rum punch and sat in the garden with her and some of the neighbours. Steve & Mike helped to light a BBQ and a spare breadfruit appeared and quickly went on to roast while we sipped our drinks and enjoyed the sunset. We couldn't thank Bent & Corneila enough for a well needed staycation in a well looked after and clean property. If you like what you hear, just book it! We had a fantastic stay in Barbados. The top floor apartment was great, we especially enjoyed the big balcony where we had our breakfast and morning yoga. The host was very responsive and always there to help. Great overall experience, highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful accommodations and view, of course! We had a fabulous stay and highly recommend to anyone who wants a little more of a peaceful vacation! We rented a car to explore the island and at the end of the day it was nice to come home to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore!

Bent Place is a gem. The apartment is beautiful, very spacious and give you that luxury feeling. There is a restaurant right next door. The view from the balcony is unbeatable. Bent is responsive as a host. I would definitely stay here again.

Cornelia and Bent are wonderful hosts and the apartment is beautiful in every detail: quiet, luxurious, amazing views, a fully equipped kitchen with top appliances, a lovely terrace with a barbecue. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come again.

There is no shortage of good things to stay about Bent and Cornelia’s lovely home and their stellar hospitality. It was our first time visiting Barbados and Cornelia went out of her way to ensure we had a comfortable stay, even taking us to the mini mart to pick up a few groceries, and helping us with a load of laundry. Bent allowed us a late checkout so we had lots of time to rest and prepare to board our cruise. The apartment itself is in a great location accessible by bus and taxi and you don’t have to break the bank to stay on the waterfront. The place is just beautiful and the hosts spared no detail in their meticulous construction of the home. I’m already dreaming of when I can return to Barbados and to this lovely AirBnB!

The View (with the view to die for!) Very high quality accommodation with relaxing sea front position. Simple Scandinavian vibe. Wonderful sunrise to wake up to without leaving your bed! The spacious terrace was perfect for relaxing after a busy day doing nothing ( in true Barbadian style!) Cornelia was so friendly and so helpful. Easy to get to from the airport and a lovely beach bar / restaurant within 5 minutes walk. We cannot recommend The View Penthouse highly enough.

This is such a special place. Great location, fantastic views, wonderful hosts? It's better than that, The View has been my favorite escape on the island for the last few years. I've stayed at both the Penthouse and Middle Deck, and they're both lovely apartments. The deck on the middle is huge, great for having a few people over. The Penthouse is perfect for two, very romantic space. The property is right on the beach in surfers bay which means the sound of the ocean waves is always near. If you're like me, you won't be able to get enough of this. It's really amazing. Nothing is every far away in such a small island, but the location is pretty convenient...most anything you need is within a 10 - 20 minute drive. Bent and Cornelia have something special here. I would recommend it to anyone.
