Cascina Canée

My friend and I stayed at this magical place for a few nights as we were in town for a wedding. I don’t even know where to begin. I will start with Fabio and Giovanna. This couple are ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS! Warm, attentive, sweet and FUN! Every morning breakfast was a spread of delicious homemade jams, coffee, gluten-free options (which we both try to stick to) made-to-order omelets. The property is nestled in a quiet corner with a view overlooking the Rocco d’angera and part of the lake. Evenings were spent taking it all in with a glass of Prosecco or wine. We LOVED staying here, we will be back and they DESERVE the 5 Stars I am giving them. Grazie Mille per Tutto!

Our group of six had an amazing stay at Cascina Canée, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Tucked away by Lake Maggiore, this village retreat is a captivating blend of hospitality and cuisine. From the start, Fabio and Giovanna, our gracious hosts, made us feel right at home. The three bedrooms were cozy and well-appointed, each with its own en suite bathroom and private entrance. We enjoyed an exquisite dinner, and the breakfast is rich and delicious Recommended!

If anything can be perfect these people have done it. An incredible, comfortable and totally authentic place to stay. Like visiting your loveliest friends in paradise!

We have just returned from a beautiful four days at Cascina Canée. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Fabio and Giovanna are fantastic hosts! The location is beautiful, overlooking the lake - and it’s very easy to drive everywhere from here. We took many day trips to different parts of the lake. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable and obviously in the rustic style - and with everything you could need. AC, a fridge, Nespresso machine etc. And finally…the food. Wow, wow, Wow! We were blown away by the delicious food we were presented with. Fabio is an excellent chef. The breakfast selection was absolutely incredible (homemade cake every day!) but the dinners were a delight. Fabio & Gi even kindly agreed to let us swap around a menu, as we had dinner reservations elsewhere one evening but really wanted to try the lasagne which we’d be missing. They were very happy to accommodate our request and it was unbelievably good! Thank you to both of you for an unforgettable stay. We hope to come back again as we all felt sad to leave!

We had the most wonderful experience at Cascina Canee. The pictures don‘t do justice with how beautiful the place and views are. Rooms are spacious and super confortable. They only have a fee rooms, which makes everything so exclusive and personal. But the best part of this place is the food! Food is humble but with the highest quality of products and on point execution. Highly recommend to do a cocking session with them. Also we never had such a good breakfast: all fresh, seasonal and a la carte. Thank you for raking care of us! We’ll be visiting again for sure.
