Love this place! Recently moved here and it was hard to find a coffee place other than a Starbucks where I could do work. Glad I did a google search and this place came up; great chill vibe and everyone who works here is nice (at both locations!). Everything I’ve tried is good, drinks and food. Plenty of seating and outlets; they’ve even refilled my water bottle while I’m there which is super nice 😊

It's always a pleasure. I love going here. I wish it was closer to my side of Henderson, but maybe in time. Great food, conversation with random guests, and of course the service.

Ok. I can never go wrong with grouchy johns. So we went to another coffee shop to try it out. I was not fond with the drinks. Came to John's so I can fix my drink. Mission accomplished. Plus Amanda and I got food. Amazing. Love and respect to everyone at grouchy John's. By the way I did not take a picture of my wife Sandwich because she finished it before I had a chance.

Walking in reminds me of simpler times. Back in my college days there was a cafe I used to go, just to read books and comics and they have a huge collection, it was amazing!. People would take tiny sips between pages because they were engrossed on what their reading. No cellphones, just books, comic books and newspaper. This cafe made it nostalgic. the signature coffee was a wee bit too sweet for me but the pastries were good this shop is a good place to take your time between sips and look over their collection of paintings and books. Just enjoy drinking coffee and it's atmosphere.

Back in Vegas and my first stop was at Grouchy Johns for a Yoda (spinach/kale/pineapple/strawberry/mango) plus I add a banana, wow... So darn good! The start is always friendly and the muffins look amazing!

This place is pretty unique! I had a pretty tasty pumpkin doughnut and a dirty chai. This place looks very chill, has lots of room to hangout, study or do work.

Went here for the first time in a long time after someone had told us their kitchen wasn’t open after a certain time, but to my surprise their kitchen is actually 24 hrs also! The chicks that were working on Saturday around 2am were absolutely wonderful and thorough when taking the order! Everything tasted great, will definitely be back again. Their warm bread pudding is my favorite!

I always like to support small businesses and finding Grouchy Johns was spectacular! Located in Henderson Nevada they have the best Nitro, I usually need some flavor or sugar but theirs is so smooth and fresh theres no need. If you want a local coffee place do yourself a favor and visit Grouchy Johns.

There were several different spaces to chill and enjoy your drink, read one of the many books they have or enjoy the art work hanging everywhere. The coffee was really good also. I was impressed this time.

I often go here a lot to study (because they have stamp cards so I could use it to my advantage), and if people asked me why I go here, I say it’s because the staff are always sweet and caring lol. The only downside is I always have to ask for an extra shot of espresso for their lattes because it’s not that strong alone and they always go on the sweeter end. Guess that’s one way to make money. But other than that, artsy, at home-feel atmosphere.

Grouchy John’s Coffee was dissatisfaction. The options were plenty and looked creative. The service was friendly. The drinks came out pretty sweet and two of the three had no coffee or at least you couldn’t taste the coffee. We ended up tossing out the two drinks after a few sips. I may need to go back and give it another try based on other stellar reviews.

We ordered a mocha and a flat white & both of the drinks were excellent. This place has a super fun vibe. There are books and games and lots of tables to hang out at in two rooms. The baristas are very nice. Loved the decor as my brother's name is John & he is also grouchy and also shaved headed. Loved the Deutschland sign too... We lived in Germany for 8 years.

Good drinks and bakery. But they have a cleaning crew during business hours making noise and this is not pleasant. Very noisy and annoying. This is not good customer service if you have a coffee and they are mopping the floor. This was 7p and they close at 9p so not recommended

Delicious coffee and swift service. The baristas are very friendly and patient (I am new to the menu and they were patient and supportive while I struggled with my choice--so many tasty sounding options!). They have an awesome cafe set up and then there's a whole other space that reminds me of tabletop game stores--but without merchandise to purchase. There are plenty of tables, chairs, and plugs along the walls, and a bookshelf in the back near the additional bathrooms. They showcase art from local artists and their menu reflects easter eggs for various story fandoms. Definitely a new favorite place to go to study as they do play music, but it's not so obnoxiously loud that I can hear my bone conduction earphones that I use with my laptop to study cohort videos. This location also has a drive-thru. On top of it all, it's one of the few cafes that give discounts for being a student, teacher, military, or first responder.

Super great place to hang and work and chat and play. This is what you want a comfy playful cafe to be like. Cozy seats. Kind people. It's just super easygoing and lots of people are either typing with headphones on or sitting in groups and playing and laughing. I wish it was next to my house, I'd go every day.

Iced latte was pretty good. The flavor is robust and heavy. I like a little more on the lighter side, but definitely good. Id come back, I see why they are rated so highly.

Loved this place. So many different options/flavors for tea and coffee. The atmosphere alone was worth the trip. Plenty of space to hang out and catch up with friends or just sit and read a book and relax. Definitely recommend.

I love this place. I wish the location was closer to me. The coffee is delicious they have such variety and probably the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The staff is very nice and friendly and I love the decor.

Very friendly staff! First time trying this place out, not sure what I wanted the lady at the drive thru was very patient and super helpful. She asked if we were student, military or first responders which I thought was very kind of her to ask. We got a discount and she also had us try our coffee before we took off. Definitely try this place out! The coffee is delicious and again staff is amazing!

Love this place! Great location with plenty parking. I had almond cookie hot tea and a blueberry muffin - both were delicious! And there's free refills on the tea! The staff is AMAZING, some of the friendliest people I've ever met. There's plenty of seating. One of my new fav places!!

This is one of my home-away-from-home coffee shops and has been for years. If you would like to be surrounded by shelves of used books (which you're fine to pick up and read while you're there) and an amazing and revolving selection of geeky art by local artists while drinking an Evil Monkey (dirty chai with banana, as it should be), I'd highly recommend it. There are two huge rooms and a lot of seating options. I love the cozy two-seat table by the door, right next to a huge bookshelf. Poking through the books is half the fun for me! The drinks are also often very geeky-themed (Shirley Temple of Doom? A smoothie just called Yoda?) and many of the tables are definitely appropriately sized for board games. It's kind of a geeky coffee paradise.
