We had a 7pm reservation for my boyfrienda birthday. We didn't get seated until 7:10 which was not bad but then waiting for everything get started was super slow. We sat at our table for a good 30 minutes before our orders were taken. The chef didn't get to our table until almost 8:30. The company at our table was great and the chefs jokes and artistry lightened every ones mood. The food was super yummy. I would recommend this restaurant on the chef alone. The servers and hostess seem like they need more communication between each other.

What's not to love about a show and a dinner all in one package. We had a large group and were lucky to have two chefs performing. We had the Steak and Scallops. They were cooked to perfection. Others in our group had most everything on the 'for two's menu. Parker was our server and he was awesome 😎. All in all our experience was great. Thank you.

Went to Fujiyama today had a great dinner. My only complaint in the past was that rice was always warm by the time I got the main course. Todays chef (forgot his name) had the main dish cooked not to long after the rice was prepared. If I had a complaint, I noticed the menus where put on top of our plates.

I have to give a HUGE shoutout to our chef, Jackie. He was super awesome. Very talkative and interactive with us and it made our experience so much better. Our food was started late due to his stove not being on, but Jackie made up for the delay by engaging with us and getting sauces started and just filling the time well. Not to mention the food was absolutely delicious! He helped us sing happy birthday to my niece and just made our visit an enjoyable one! Thanks Jackie, we appreciate you!

Fun place for Japanese food and showmanship from the chef. The food is all cooked on a grill in front of you while the chef performs some tricky maneuvers with some VERY sharp knives. Family style seating makes for new friends. Portions are enormous which are reflected in the prices. A little less for less would be better but all, a great dining experience. Great place to go with a crowd for birthdays or other celebrations

First off, we had a large party of 13, and Parker was great. He took our initial drink orders and food orders with multiple tabs. He was so patient, helpful, and accommodating. He was very attentive through the whole meal, refilling drinks and taking plates. He was just so sweet and kind. Brittany was our cook, and she was entertaining and fun. She has a good sense of humor, and the food was delicious. The only complaint I have is that the establishment could use some updating. The carpet is very sticky and dirty, the walls need to be painted, and it just seems a little dirtier than the last time I was here. But the staff were great.

Avoid Saturday evenings if you could even get a reservation. The earliest reservation we could get for 4 was at 7, and we had to wait till 7:30 before we were seated. Our chef was very entertaining and the food was expertly prepared. Highly recommended. We had scallops and filet mignon for about $37 each. The chef gave us all a couple of large shrimps to sample, which were great!

Lots of fun! Whole family experience for less than $60.00 per person...the young ones enjoyed the activity around the hibachi, and the adults had lots of opportunity for great conversation and watching dinner being prepared. Excellent night out!

This place is one of the best Japanese steakhouses I’ve ever been to. They cook your food right in front of you. The chef was great. Yet the price was worth it. I ordered the shrimp with some fried rice. They also grill vegetables and create an onion volcano, which was entertaining to watch. For dinner they serve everyone onion soup with a salad. Everyone also gets 2 pieces of shrimp with their meal. I would go here every birthday I had since 2011, up until last year (because of COVID-19) but I came back here this year for my birthday. I would recommend to make a reservation in the weekend because it gets booked. Thank you staff for your service, and I plan to come back in the future.

Online Reservations for my birthday, with email confirmation. Showed up excited. Apparently they "don't know who's managing their website" but sorry, no room for us. Entire evening events ruined (Friday night everywhere else was booked) and my family put a lot of effort into making this night special for me. Thanks fujiyamas! Great way to run a business!

Dined on the bar side of the restaurant. The vibe is classy but relaxed. Make sure to have your ID! The bartenders were friendly and made great drinks. Thank you, Kevin and Fiona! I wasn't super hungry and got the beef fried rice, which was phenomenal. You might not get the show of the hibachi from the other side of the restaurant, but you definitely are not lacking in flavor! Make sure to get some of their ginger soy or yumyum sauce with your food! I'm definitely looking forward to coming back on my next trip to the area!

I can't believe how phenomenal this place is!! This was our first time experiencing Japanese hibachi cooking. I wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday. Our chef was great and I appreciate how they made me look for finding such a excellent place. We also had our 3 kids with us 12, 8, 6. They're requestioning to change our birthday tradition of taking birthday person out to eat and wanting it to be at Fujiyama. Thank you for everything!!

So fun to watch dinner being made right in front of you. Our chef was wonderful, very engaging. Food was excellent - i can't believe my husband actually cleared his plate! We had steak & shrimp with the fried rice and veg - all was sooooo good! Our waiter was new and a little slow, but overall the experience was great. We'll be back!

We went where with a party of 12. The chef was fabulous and very entertaining. He had skill that put all the other Japanese Steakhouses to shame. Then there's the food top notch, perfectly prepared, delicious! We have eaten at nearly every such venue in the PNW and this is now our favorite. The prices are reasonable and as a bonus lower than the others we've tried . Try this place, you'll be pleasantly surprised

Such a fun birthday celebration with 7 of us. Took care of the meat eaters and the vegetarians beautifully. Great cutlery skills and tricks. They were all so nice and efficient in serving and cooking. The waitress also made sure to let us know the gratuity was already included. All around we had a great experience.

Fuji has come a long way from when it opened to now. You'll notice I have it 3 stars overall but mostly 5 in all the independent categories. I called, made a reservation for the next day and well, I arrived with my party and they don't have me on the list. Then, they treated me, and likely reasonable, as a walk in party, again no issue, what they failed to communicate was how long the wait would be to be seated. We asked a few times and said it was no big deal if they couldn't fit us in, but they insisted it would only be a few more minutes. Walking in @650 for what we thought would be @7 reservation, turned into finally being sat at 745. Second to the last table for the night. Another couple came and went as well due to the wait. Our chef was great, the food was great. The heat in the place was horrible. The smoke inside was crazy at the start. It's clear the HVAC needs help or some of the hoods need repair. I wish I could speak more highly of the place.

The cook was a lot of fun. He really engaged with our granddaughter. He has a lot of dad jokes, but was still so entertaining. And the food was great as well. My ONLY issues are the darkness and the vents making the place so cold.

Love the food/flavor. We continue to go back because of it every few months, we sit in the bar as we dont go for the show and service is always very prompt. With that said, Quality of the meat has slowly gone down hill over the past few years. They did a much needed face-lift semi recently but was pretty minimal and not well done. Also, not sure if it's just me but the place kind of smells a wee bit weird.

It was a good place to eat! A little pricey$27 up to $50 it was empty minus only a couple people. I didn't like sitting next to people I didn't know and dealing with some bad/annoying habits but that's just personal preference! The food was great and Daniel our server was magnificent. I feel like it's a one and done type place but I would fully recommend it to anyone to try it!!

The staff were great. Prices are high but the cooks do a great job at entertaining on the grill.

I really liked that restaurant. Fun place to watch the chef do tricks and cook food with a flame of heat. Their food is absolutely delicious. I would recommend getting yum yum sauce as their secret recipe that we cannot tell anyone about that. Pretty expensive though! We only go there for special occasions.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! They steal from you!!! I recently ate dinner here with a group of people. Since we were a group of 6 they automatically already added an 18% tip to our total dinner bill. So the food, tax, and tip all combined was a total of $197. It even says on the bottom of the receipt that they already add in the 18% tip for parties of 6 or more. And we did the math and confirmed that the total amount already did include that tip. We paid with a credit card and only signed off for the $197 amount and even rewrote the $197 amount on the line to show that as being the total amount for everything which already included the tip. Flash forward to today we just saw the final amount that was actually charged to the credit card and they actually charged $227 instead!!! So they literally charged us TWICE for the $30 tip. We only authorized and signed off on the receipt for $197 and they charged more than that. That is STEALING. Totally unacceptable and ridiculous! Therefore I strongly advise everyone to NEVER eat here but if you must, only pay in cash so they can’t steal any extra money from you. Completely shady and dishonest. This was my first and LAST time ever eating here.

Had a fantastic grilled shrimp & steak dinner for two here on a Friday night. We opted for the bar as it was fairly busy in the hibachi table area. Our bartender/server was very helpful and definitely knows her drinks! All in all a great experience. Olympic Otter

This was my first time dining at a Japanese steakhouse and, I was not remotely disappointed! Our chef was William, who was/is friendly and funny! He's really good with the theatrics at the grill, which removed all apprehensions I had when I first came in (I've never dined with strangers around an open grill like that). I caught him by surprise with my request for blue steak but, he certainly knows what he's doing! Most chefs can't do a steak blue but, not only did William rise to the challenge, the flavor was fantastic (something which is often absent in a blue steak)! The food! Oh, the food! The flavors were simply incredible! Normally, I need more salt, or sauce, always something extra to add or bring out more flavor but, not here! I will definitely eat here again and, I would certainly recommend it to anyone! Thank you, William!

Riding on the reputation built by previous owners. The food here is not even close to as good as it used to be. Small cheap shrimp compared to the large tail-on shrimp they used to serve. Fried rice used to be amazing, now it's average. Come for the atmosphere if you must, but you can get better food elsewhere for less money.

We had Daniel as our hibachi chef and he was awesome! Great jokes, great guy and vibes! Hubby and I were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary and he made us feel so special! Please give him a raise!! Unfortunately we couldn’t catch the name of the other man and woman who serviced us for our soups and bill but I know a face! Great place to surprise my husband with! He had a great time! We WILL be visiting again! We loved it so much! The food was up to par!! We were seated with great people and good times! Our hibachi chef, Daniel had some pretty funny jokes too! Really made our night! It was awesome watching food being made in front of us! We’ll be back!! I’ve been in Washington for a month and never felt so much kindness and comfort in one room! I had to put my food in a to-go box because the size was so good for the price and I had to save for later! Thank you Daniel!! Thank you Fujiyama!!!❤️🩵🤍
