Excellent vegan food and equally amazing service. Went there on a trip to Faro in Portugal and will definitely go back again. It's so hard to find vegan food let alone great vegan food and Parsley and Thyme has it in spades.

My wife and I are not vegetarians, but we had to try the highest rated restaurant in Silves. We weren't disappointed. Parsley and Thyme is tiny (at least when there's no outdoor seating during the winter). It's an intimate setting hosted by Ashley, arguably the best waiter I've had the fortune to encounter in six decades of traveling Europe and elsewhere. My Namaste Burger was a bit dry, but the rest of our food and drink was fantastic.

Amazing hosts and chef. Nearly everything is vegan, gluten free and incredible, you can't tell. It's not often I eat past feeling full but I did here and I don't regret it. Good prices too.

We tried in the past years, but did not manage to fit our holidays with their opening times...until this year. Excellent vegan options for dishes and desserts, lovely place for a summer night and very friendly owner and attendant. 5* highly recommended

The food here was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend that you eat here. The service was spectacular, fast, and the owner spent time getting to know us, sharing fascinating experiences that he has had, and giving us recommendations for our trip. It could not have been a better meal! If I’m ever in Portugal again, I’ll definitely have to come back to Parsley and Thyme.

Beautiful little restaurant with great food, many vegan options. We had the delicious Indian tapas, all fresh homemade . Good chat with the friendly owner. The food was so good and we were so hungry that I forgot to take any photos. Definitely recommend

Just had a beautiful lunch here in Parsley & Thyme. The place was very busy but the owner made time for everyone and explained there might be a little waiting time due to the volume of people. He looked after everyone so well. I went for the small Indian Tapas which really is for sharing but my god the flavours were fantastic. Beautiful house wine also. I look forward to going back there soon.

We had such a lovely time here. The owners are very kind, have a beautiful story and also have amazing food! I think you can’t go wrong with any of the options on the menu (many vegan options!) We had the Tajin and were not disappointed. They serve yummy drinks and good beer too. Would absolutely recommend!

Very friendly owner and chef. He put's his passion into food and knows his taste combinations! Even when you only want a drinks and dessert you should come by and try his red fruits crumble

Nestled within Silves, this quaint cafe feels like a hug in a mug. The host is warm, welcoming and very homely! We had the best onion bhagis at this cafe (and we are foodies and have tried them all) The food is exceptional! It’s like eating at your grandmas home on a Sunday afternoon. I’d highly recommend.

We found this great place on our visit to Silves. Food was wonderful (we had a shared thali, plenty for two), well prepared, and at a good price. Service quick and friendly. All the other customers there seemed to be enjoying the food, too. Highly recommended!

I have been hearing about this place for a while now. It is generally described as a vegetarian restaurant (which it is) but it is so much more. It is located in one of the side streets in the centre of Silves, and has indoor and outdoor service. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food is marvellous and could best be described as having middle eastern and Indian influences. I will definitely be going back there. I haven't heard a bad word against it.

Great Service and a big variety of dishes from around the world :) The prices are also very fair for all of the work that goes into those handcrafted dishes. We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

Just happened across this place while visiting Silves and wow! Small cafe style, super welcoming and the food was excellent. You will not find better food, especially vegan/veggie anywhere. Definitely worth a visit.
