VERRY LOUD MUSIC music lasts intermittently for 6 hours. Unfortunately at these times you won’t hear the sound of the ocean or even hear to speak. I walked over 200 yards away from the resort and you can still hear the music All drinks are single use plastic or paper even at night in the bar., dessert spoon in the main restaurant are also single use plastic. The hotel needs to make the move to reusable cups and spoons Food is delicious, no out hours snacks though and the water in your room is not all inclusive Towels are 10 euros rent if you want to change them that’s 2 euros Landry service charge At peak time 1 brolly and two sun lounges per room so this may be a problem if you have 3 people in the room It’s a shame they haven’t embraced the natural tranquility of the beautiful beach and clear sea and separated the entertainment areas allowing guests to choose how they want to spend their holiday.

Smaller rooms (ok though) but a fantastic service throughout, good choice of activities, dedicated kids animators, very good food choice. Nothing in the vicinity so take that into account. If a resort is your thing, you might like it a lot.

I stayed here in September 2023. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, with no places to go out and walk around. If you plan to come to the hotel and stay there without exploring the surroundings until checkout, then you might consider it. You need to rent beach towels, and if you want them cleaned, you'll have to pay extra. The first line next to the beach is reserved for VIP rooms. I didn't know that and was lying on a sunbed; plenty of them were empty, but the lifeguard kicked me out. The old guy was not friendly at all. There were a couple of jellyfish in the sea. I checked online and saw that they were not poisonous, but I didn't want to swim after seeing them both under and on the surface of the sea. The main dishes were okay, but the desserts were awful. I stayed there for a week and didn't see Tiramisu, the most common dessert in Italy. There weren't enough vegetarian options; pork was in everything. There was a pizza oven, but I had the worst pizza of my life there. There was an additional shower outside the room; the idea was nice, but it wasn't clean. I'm not recommending it to anyone. I think it is overpriced. If your expectations are low and you have money to spare, then give it a try!

I had the privilege of staying at VOI Floriana Resort with my wife and our two young children, a two-year-old and a four-month-old. We flew from San Diego to Italy for my cousin's wedding and decided to extend our trip to enjoy a longer vacation. While the wedding was in Padova, we wanted to visit a coastal area, so we chose VOI Floriana Resort in Simeri-Crichi, Calabria. The resort turned out to be the perfect choice, even though it was far from Padova. It's beautifully located on a serene beach, making it a peaceful and quiet getaway. The family-friendly atmosphere was exactly what we needed, with many other families vacationing there. The outdoor kids' play area offered numerous activities, and the kids' club was staffed by amazing people who had activities planned all day. The nursery was a great bonus, even cleaning and sanitizing my daughter's bottles throughout our stay. The resort also has a kids' restaurant where children can dine separately, giving parents the chance to enjoy a date night. The kids' pool was perfect for hot days, and the private beach had plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The beach itself was stunning, with clean, clear water where you could see your feet and fish swimming by. Although the beach was sandy, the water had pebbles, so water shoes are a good idea. We opted for the all-inclusive package, which was fantastic. The buffet-style restaurant served breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a variety of fresh and delicious options. Breakfast was consistent each morning, while the lunch and dinner menus changed daily. The self-serve drink stations, including beer and wine, were very convenient. The staff was welcoming and friendly, enhancing our experience. The only minor downside was that the all-inclusive drinks at the bars were served in small plastic cups; larger containers would have been preferable. However, given that the drinks were complimentary, this was a small inconvenience. If we have the opportunity to visit Italy again, we will definitely try to stay at this resort or explore other VOI resorts in the country.

We really enjoyed the resort, but I have one significant complaint. All the drinks included in the all-inclusive package were served in disposable paper or plastic cups at the bars. If we wanted coffee in a porcelain or glass cup, we had to pay extra. The same applied to alcoholic drinks, except for prosecco, which was served in a glass. Considering the emphasis on ecology, this seemed like a major shortcoming to me, and I had never encountered this approach before.
