Visited this market in Simi Valley for the first time. Very impressed with the variety of fresh items available. Homemade tamales, tortillas, and salsas. Well organized and very clean market. Deli, meats, bakery, flowers, seafood and fresh juice bar available. Employees very helpful and friendly. Adequate parking, and is located in a larger shoping area on Los Angeles Ave in Simi Valley. They have some vendors in small shop spaces inside this market i.e., phone repair, directTV, tailor, check cashing etc. They also have a small ATM machine available.

Busiest grocery shopping experience of my life, Stepped into a another country without needing a passport. Fresh prepared food including small dinning area if you can't wait to get home. We brought home two different carne asada to grill and sample for an upcoming camping trip, found our favorite. Of course the more expensive cut, but worth every penny. We will be back for sure 😊

The store director has the worst customer service. I talked to a manager about a change of bills. To use the machine inside. I felt unease to spend money with little to no security. The store director said she has no money. I had the 20s and 50s and was looking for 100s. I told her that I don't mind waiting and she can take the money to the back to count and verify the amount. She said no. And she does not have enough money to keep the security around all the time. I think she just said that because the guard left and she did not want to deal with me. Brush me off. Did not help out. I wanted to leave quickly but she does not care if you spend your money on other stuff in the store or go to the money gran section. She only cares if you buy groceries. Busy right now with short staff and no security. Great time to feel unsafe and uneasy to buy anything in this store. Two stars for the total service, speed, and items at the store.

Everything is super cheap! They have a wide variety of items and produce. Energy drinks are cheaper , and the bakery has the best pineapple upside-down mini cakes ever, plus a wide variety of pan dulce and other bread goods. I found everything I needed to buy there just as if I went to another popular market like Vons or Ralphs. Bathrooms were clean,. Staff were professional , and the place had a lot of patrons. I'm definitely going back again!

First time visiting this store. Very clean and the displays are attractive and neat. We tried the hot items and we were satisfied and full. The service is fast and the food are very tasty. We will definitely come back to shop and eat again.

This one is my another favorite store in Simi. If you guys want to get a 3Leches and flan this is the best place, and many more. I strongly recommend this store to get groceries, specially cakes and deserts. Yummyyyy yummyyyyy 🤤 😋

Great Hispanic focused super market in the Simi Valley area. We actually like this one better than the options we had in Riverside

Horrible service managers never available to assist and if you do get to talk to someone it’s a waste of time I see there certain items they reserve to sell even if there available they won’t sell it to you even if it’s available and if you ask a employee for the items they’ll tell you ask the manager but it’s waste of time

The team decorating cakes at this location are doing top notch work. We enjoy the tres Leche cakes at several Vallartas, but this location has truly wonderful designs. The ready-designed cakes have beautiful and on-trend designs, and for a fantastic price. Highly recommend.

Vallarta has the cutest cakes so I tried to get one for my daughter's birthday. The lady working in the bakery ignored the line for 10 minutes, finally she served one person then went back to her work. Another ten minutes later, when she saw the person was still in line, she served them again. Then she went back to doing, God-knows-what in the kitchen. After another twenty minutes and a growing line behind me, I decided to buy my cake at Ralph's. So sad and unprofessional.

The obese lady in the Carniceria is EXTREMELY RUDE!! She literally yells at customers. It’s always a horrible experience with her. She needs to be written up for her behavior. Today after she yelled at an older lady for “not paying attention when she was calling for her number” it was our turn to deal with her. We asked for a whole chicken cut in pieces she’s told us that she couldn’t cut it because the cutting boards had already been washed. It was 7:40pm. We told her we knew they close at 10pm to which she replied “ we leave at 9pm today”. LIE!! I tried speaking to a manager and it was impossible. Stay away! Got to Stater Bros or Guadalajara Market on Tapo..

Vallarta is a great supermarket that covers all your food needs but especially focuses on Mexican fare. A great place to get chilies, napoles, chorizo, tortillas or Masa, and of course all the delicious baked goods. They also have a butcher and counter service to order prepared meals to enjoy either before or after you shop.

Good selection of grocery products and price is reasonable. Well labeled and staffs were nice.

Had the best expience with one of the managers here. I was returning something without a recipe. I had paid cash for. She went out of her way to help me even tho she technically she probably didn't have to. She knew what she was doing I caught her right before her break and she took her time looking up my recipe for me. Will definitely return because of her. Wish I could remember her name but this is what I wish we had more of these days

I was charge twice. Employees and managers need to be retrained I was charged twice the cashier called the manager to verify the first charge which he confirmed never went through and charge me the second time. The next day my Amex showed the two charges now I have to drive to take care of it. I called the manager to take care the issue over the phone but he indicated that I have to drive to the Simi Valley Vallarta and no compensation for my time and gas not even an apology. Hopefully they will take care of it.

I was extremely disappointed with my visit to this Vallarta. Rachel the supervisor at the time didn't even try to make it right and went as far as to say that I could have purchased the items somewhere else. Every other market I go to if I want to return something without a receipt they are more than willing to give me store credit. This Vallarta refused and said it was because of the holidays. I was not asking for money back just for store credit. I'm Latina and I like to support my community but this will be the last time I shop here Valley Market is in the same shopping area and they have the same things. It's a shame a market would be willing to loose a customer for a return that was probably $5 at the most. Horrible customer service I will be telling my friends and family to not shop here.

Always clean and well stocked. The take away counter closes at 8 PM.
