The golf course is a little confusing as the fairways are close together and not clearly defined - it's difficult to figure out which green belongs to which tee, however if we had looked at the back of the score card, we would have seen the whole layout. Hollow tining had been done at the time of our visit which made putting difficult but otherwise its a lovely course with STUNNING views of the beach and turquoise water. The food at the clubhouse was delicious, the staff friendly. We liked it so much we decided we'd play there once a month.

An absolute pleasure of an experience, the staff at the Simon's town county club are beyond friendly and truly helpful. We tried their classic breakfast before heading out into the rain for our 9am tee time, and what can I say about the course. It's a surprise, from the steep hills to breathtaking views. With Bolders beach on the one side and the mountains on the other. Playing a round here is a definite must for anyone wanting a different experience. A must for anyone trying to get out of the mashie course, but not ready for par 5's. This par 66 course will test your skills. Thanks for having us.

"Legendary Golf Course" a new category created because of playing this course. The meaning is due to the sporty character everything is bad ... Greens, Tee Boxes, Lay Out and so on - it is only a one star Golf BUT thay are really friendly, helpful, nice people and it is a uniquely place. Something Spesial, Something meaningful - you feel it while playing - so a must play. Be careful: Na eigentlich 2 Sterne

The course is in a shocking condition. Looks as if it has been totally neglected by the Club. Greens and fairways are bone dry, sandy with patches of grass. Is there no green keeping staff? If so, does anybody check up on their work?

This place is presently stuck in a time warp. Food was good but would have preferred roast beef (instead of pork) and even Yorkshire pudding to make it a proper Sunday roast. Service is excellent. Ample parking but just a pain to get to due to the traffic on the main drag there.

Lovely view with good food on a very big plate...whole plate was full. Had the chicken schnitzel with mash and three vegetables (got even crispy onion rings when requested) as they didn't have the chicken liver or lasagne that was on the menu. Everything was really tasty. The drinks are quite cheap (from milkshakes to the beers). Truly the roadtrip worth from the northern suburbs. Just don't expect a hotel style restaurant or restrooms. It is a normal functional golf club for the citizens that allows visitors to their restaurant. It was ever too busy or crowded when we visited.

Totally disappointed that as a regular that frequents 3x a week needed to pay R185 just to watch a jazz band on a Sunday and not only myself but other regulars and members got declined because we refused to pay entrance fees. Keep in mind from that R185 no drinks or snacks was included

Great veiws but unfortunately the layout of the course is awful and the course is very unkept. Tee markers are missing or damaged, fairway is overgrown, greens are bumpy, for some reason there's 18 holes marked out but it's just the first 9 twice. Very overgrown course with a public park running through it so some dog poop is on a few greens
