Came here for Sunday lunch with the kids, and they are very kid-friendly. Food prices might seem to be reasonable at first glance but when the actual dish arrives, you are left with a slight tinge of disappointment as the portions are rather miserly. Food taste, however, is quite a different story. Bags of flavour in the mushy peas, as well as the meat dishes - which indicates that there is a decent chef in the kitchen who knows how to dole out delicious fare. But as you clear the plates clean you are then sorely reminded that the portions are meagre to compliment the barrage of flavour - leaving you with the question: should I order more? That’s why I rate it only 3 out of 5 for overall experience, as while the flavour and service deliver solidly, the portions let it down which rates the overall value of the meal as pricey.

Had the crab sandwiches and partial of the crab meat was very fishy(unfresh), for diner with weak stomach, i will suggest to avoid this dish. The steak was good, and my folks enjoyed it. I like the part which their kids' menu was also a colouring paper for them. My kids love the fries and nuggets but strangely despise the fish fillets used for the burger.

Happy hour 1 for 1 cocktail, wines. There are lunch sets at $12.90 offering a main dish plus soft drink. Draught beer is fresh while bar bites are legit. Crunchy chicken wings were my favorite!

Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. Staff are friendly and efficient. Fish and chips is a regular choice. Tried the chicken tikka, good portion, and taste. They've a kid's menu printed on an activity sheet to keep them occupied. $15 sets with drink and ice cream.

Good portion on mains with generous helping of salad. Food was done well but unfortunately a little salty. Standout was the beer batter bacon, scotch eggs and prawns. Sausage platter was a little sad as one would expect more than 3 on a platter. Deserts were also good, quality of the vanilla ice cream is also decent.

Splendid experience for our first visit to Queen & Mangosteen! Food is great and in large portion befitting for a Brit. Service is gold class. Staff very friendly and very prompt. I would recommend their garlic prawn appetizer. You will end up mopping up the amazing sauce with additional toast.

Food, staff and drinks, especially in happy hour, were all first class. Absolutely fantastic experience for us and our 10 year old daughter. The staff were so good I started to think they thought we were mystery shoppers. Couldn't recommend highly enough

British gourmet pub to an-all rounded establishment that is not just about good food and drinks! I will order the following : The Queen's English Breakfast, Grilled Chicken & Lychee Salad, Yorkshire Pudding with Gravy, Snapper Fish & Chips, Creamy Baked Salmon, Shepherd's Pie and Queen's Waffles. They are not shy of a good selection and in a truly British inspired menu. You get to choose an outdoor or indoor seating. Very wide spaces so if you have a wheelchair or pram, it is fine. Interior is of course….. British inspired decorations and designs. Staff was friendly and attentive so that was nice. #howmuchdidqueenvictoriapaidformangosteen

Passed by this restaurant many times yet first time trying. Food exceeded our expectation, especially the butter chicken masala pie. So delicious. Service is prompt although the staffs appeared rush even though it wasnt too crowded. Restaurant is spacious. Will be back if craving for british food.

Delicious quality English pub food. This is an underrated restaurant within Vivocity and I hope it remains to be! Service is efficient and food portions are large. Highly commendable: shepherds pie and crispy fish sandwich (fries are so good!) They have happy hour everyday and specials during Sunday brunch which I hope to checkout soon. 10/10 will return!

Love their happy hour beers (Guinness at 10 dollar only). Also one thing that I always order is their bread pudding with ice cream. So yum. Never tried their mains before as I am not a big fan of Brit food in general. Service is quick, they have a nice outdoor seating for a chill hangout when the weather allows.

Had brought my teams here and it was a hit amongst them!! Loved everything we ordered, beer was great and desserts looked amazing. Lovely weather that time also added to the ambience. Not giving 5 stars only because they didn't have chicken, and we couldn't try few 'chef recommended' dishes because of it. But will be visiting it again :)

Love the happy hour here. The cocktails can be improved but you can’t go wrong with their imported beer! Go for the Kilkenny, it’s a great and light. The service can be slow during the happy hour and bar snacks took forever. I recommend the sausage wrapped with bacon. Love that they have mustard too.

Brought the family here for lunch over the weekend. I must say that their fish and chips were really good and so were the other dishes. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The crispy skin had a wonderful flavour to it as well. Their pasta was equally good, infused with a rich and fragrant prawn flavor.

Visited this place with my family on a weekend. Service was great and the staff were very friendly and prompt. Missed the happy hour by 20 minutes so didn’t manage to get the 1 for 1 cocktail. The old fashioned was nice and strong, neatly blended together. The food was good as well. Pork chop was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. The prawn and avocado toast was tasty. Overall food was good so definitely worth the visit. 4/5 because they don’t serve plain water. Had to buy the bottled plain water for $9. Consider serving complementary plain iced water please. Most restaurants at your price range do so.

We came to try the Sunday brunch today for the first time. I must say the menu and food was pretty good. Not to mention, service is great! We were served by a Ms Karen. She is very friendly and approachable and made our dining experience a pleasant one. We hope to come back for another visit soon to try your other food selection. Thank you!

The snapper with herb butter was lacklustre, underwhelming, disappointing. I am reminded of hospital meal preps, bland and ‘healthy’. The vine tomatoes and Roman cauliflower were the redeeming features of the dish. It speaks volume of the dish. On the flip side, the nachos were fantastic. Cheesy, tangy, savoury, sweet, a myriad of flavours into one. The nachos were probably the best thing on the table, and we made a couple more on the table. The 1-for-1 cocktails (colada and margarita) were disappointing too. Maybe we had too high an expectation for this place?

I have not been here in a while but had dinner there recently. The food, view and outdoor ambience is perfect for small group gatherings. True to British "pub grub", the fish and chips was a favourite. We also had the lamb and also desserts. The lava cake (40 mins preparation) and the waffle with ice cream were excellent. Service was also good from point of reservations to payment.

Restaurant has been up and running for many years. Good and service on point. Helpful and cheerful service staff. Some of the highlights on the menu : chicken tikka, burger pull pork slider, very nice fish and chips, baked snapper, vegetarian nachos, and last bite not least, excellent Bloody Mary. Have fun . Thank u queen and mangosteen for the delightful experience.

First visit with a friend! Great food portions for sharing:) Wanted so much to try the Pigs in the blankets- and did so today. However was tad too salty for liking. The beef pie served with side salad was so tasty! Beef were tender and generous in portion! And thank you for the kind and attentive staff. The lady staff came over to caution us that the pie contents were extremely hot and make sure we cut it open slowly to let out the steam. That’s such attention service and really appreciate that! I would be back to try out more delicious dishes! 🤗🤗👍🏻

We were able to enjoy delicious beer and finger foods even though we walked in after 10:00 pm. But I think the price is a little too high.

I ordered the Seafood Fettuccine and it was so-so. Nothing to shout about but not bad. 3/5 Same for the shepherd’s pie, also 3/5. However, service could be improved as we waited quite long for the food to arrive. I would estimate we waited about 20 minutes.

Last min decision to eat here as the restaurant we intended to go to was no longer there. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was really good and service was prompt. It was a weekday lunch hour and the atmosphere wasn’t crowded and food was nice. The fish was really well done. The fish meat was flakey and moist but the fish skin was very well seasoned and crispy. The lemony couscous was a good complement to the fish. The veggie can be a bit more. The pork chops were also juicy. The sauce was very flavorful and like wine or beer infused. The mash potato was buttery and salad was crunchy fresh. The set lunch comes with a soft drink at $16.90++ which is a pretty good deal for the taste and portion. Don’t mind dining there again if we are in VivoCity for lunch.

Food is an honest homage to classic British grub. Friendliness of staff, music selection and variety of drinks in a really pleasing atmosphere make this a wonderful treat for dinner.

Went on a weekday noon n ordered the set lunch. $14.90 was a reasonable price and add on $2 if u need a hot drink. Else u can have a soft drink for free. Truffle mash potato with salmon is a good option. The three meatballs with red wine sauce seem tough and slightly on the salty side.

  • 3/5 Krison T. 7 months ago on Google
The food was generally saltier than British pubs. Looking at the menu, it seems to be the strategy to raise revenue by getting customers to order more of their comparatively more expensive drinks after eating their salty meals during the non-happy hours.

My usual go-to place to meet up with friends for a drink, as well as Sunday brunches and dinners with the family as well. The staff here are pretty friendly, patient and accomodating... recommending what would go well with the different beers and also helping us on keep track of the drinks tab (as we ordered quite a few pints in advance!)

It’s our third time here and we’ve never been disappointed. This time we came for Sunday Brunch. The atmosphere is pleasant, you can see Sentosa through the windows, which gives a nice holiday feel. I love the 2010s top hits playlist, brings me back to uni days! But of course it’s the food that brings us back; it is substantial and of a good quality. The fries seem home made and crunchy with the skin still on, the fish in the fish and chips though of the cheap variety was still executed very well, with a crisp exterior. Fish and chips were served with a tangy curry sauce and a large salad (rare nowadays, in most restaurants salad seems a perfunctory accompaniment). The Sunday beef roast was thick and juicy, though if I were to be picky, the gravy could benefit from a little less rosemary, too much imparts a woody medicinal taste. Ploughman’s salad was a refreshing addition and completed the meal. Alcohol-wise, the 1 for 1 happy hour cocktails were quite satisfactory and not too weak, something that peeves me at most other happy hour places. Service was good and prompt. I love this place and will keep returning ❤️ Food: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Service: 5/5

Orderd the lunch set specials during the weekday. Overall food was tasty. Pork chop tastes well with the sauce. Pan seared fish was crispy. Kids meal fries are good. Definitely a quiet and nice place to chill out.

I came here for tea with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. One part of this British Pub does have the look and feel of an English pub as seen from the dark space and wood cum leather furnishings. There is however another part which is less pub-like with alfresco seatings overlooking the vast waters and Sentosa island. We were seated indoor at the pub-like area. It is indeed a beautiful place to be at for coffee/tea in the afternoon. We had the whole section to ourselves for the major part of the afternoon. We had Shepherd’s Pie, Waffle with Gelato Ice Cream, English Breakfast and Cammomile Tea. The food, drinks & ambience were excellent. I will return to this pub for meals and drinks another time.

First time trying out this Gourmet British Pub, and ordered a steak and fish and chips with. Beef stew pie. I ordered a tiger with happy hour pricing and warm water charged at $0.50. Wife ordered the medium rare ribeye, taste really good with whiskey mustard sauce, whereas my fish and chips are very thick sliced with special curry tartare sauce. Lastly the beef stew pie was pretty awesome too, thick beef cubes with a really good stew that goes really well for the pie. Overall was a pretty good lunch dining option at Vivo 👍🏼

Had lunch on a weekday and the weather was fine enough to sit outdoors and enjoy the breeze and view of Sentosa opposite. Really liked the Snapper Fish and Chips with its crunchy batter and chewy fish meat. Beef and Mash was decent while the Shepherd's Pie was filling. Service was prompt and friendly which was always appreciated. Pity that the scotch egg wasn't available so hope to try that next time as well as other items on the menu 😋

Went over for lunch with my team of 13 including both adults and kids. We were arranged at the long table which was a combination of at least 5 separate tables. Atmosphere was quiet and the wall was well decorated. I recommend the Guinness Pie! The stew was just right and the meat tender and not tough. Goes really well with the bread baked on top of the plate! Though my friends did mentioned some food was only average, maybe I could come back and try again next time for more review! Price was reasonable and the staff were attentive and quick to get what we needed. Will be back for more!

The pan seared fish is cooked just nice to get that crisp outer layer. Prawn avocado salad is mediocre. Service is slow and the female staff pretends not to see our call for service. Fortunately, one of the junior staff happened to walk by and assisted us. Although the set comes with a soft drink, coffee/tea is a $2 addition and plain water as a replacement is not an option with the set.

Great ambience and view. Especially outdoor sitting on a rainy day is amazing (they have covered outdoor sitting). The decor of the restaurant is very "British". Great place to have fish and chips and pies. The sticky date pudding here was reallllly good. Menu here is quite large and receive will surely find something they like.

Awesome dinner on 7 Dec 2022, It was an absolute delight from start to finish. Fish and chips was a culinary masterpiece! The batter was perfectly crispy, and the fish inside was tender and flavorful. Accompanied by the golden, hand-cut chips, it was a true taste of traditional British comfort food done right. What truly elevated my dining experience, however, was the impeccable service provided by the attentive staff. From the moment we were seated to the end of our meal, the service was nothing short of excellent. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, provided insightful recommendations, and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The attention to detail and genuine friendliness made the dining experience memorable.
