Go here to spend a forced minimum of $43++ for a nice rooftop view and absolutely nothing else. I had a bland curry with the least buttery butter naan I've ever had in my life. The staff are friendly and welcoming, so that's a plus, but you're literally just paying for the view and rooftop dining with this place. Great if that's all you're looking for with a few drinks, but if you want good Indian food, you can do better than Our Village.

Punjabi cuisine, with many choices but rice is to be purchased separately. Be aware, no Amex accepted and minimum spend of SGD 43 per person in food is required. If minimum spend is not met, the minimum amount will be billed! Food and drinks bill were separated and in the name of 2 different companies which seemed strange. Roof top terrace has a good view of the Singapore river but on a windy day make sure nothing blows off the table.

The food was good but they did require a minimum spend per person. Despite it being about 9:30pm and the restaurant was only half full, the staff still insisted that one of our friends, who only wanted a drink, had to meet the minimum spend. This was extremely disappointing and means we probably won't go back again.

Short summary - Food was good but the overall experience and not worth the money. We were two people who ended up paying SGD 110 even without any alcohol. Long summary - Roof top with amazing view but very small place and does not allow you to roam around to get a 360 degrees view. The restaurant has so many policies and the waiters will remind you 3 times before you enter their premise. Example policies - Corner table is not for couples; it is only for group of 6. So couples don't really get a nicer spot even after a reservation. Expend is 43sgd per person plus service tax. Amex is not accepted. Contactless card does not work. Payment machine can't be brought to the table. Our system produces receipts in multiple parts. We don't serve cocktails. Lack of hospitality/common sense and no waitress i.e. no lady in the hospitality team at the restaurant. Examples - on asking napkin, the waiter brought only one napkin for a table of two. A guy on the next table pulled a chair from a different table, he was told not to do that and he was provided a new chair of the same type. This place is certainly way too expensive for its overall experience.

The price is extremely high. we 13 pax and order only a few dishes without rice and shares the food. i almost got 1 spoon from each dishes and i didnot even get full. the bill was $55 per pax. it was incredibly high and it never ever worth it. Personnel training definitly need to be improved. the only thing turned me was ambiance. The food quality and quantity never worth for $55 and there is no huge difference with hawkers center food. i wont go and wont recommend.

Terrible service and too expensive! It took them over 30 mins to serve drinks and waited over 1 hour to get our food. Had ordered palak paneer and malai kofta. Got only 5 pieces of paneer in palak paneer and 2 vegetable kofta baΔΊls only with lots of gravy. When I approached the staff asking why so little paneer and kofta they said this is standard. Certainly will not be coming back her again.

Fantastic view, great food and brilliant, attentive service. It’s not hard to meet the minimum spend, so that didn’t bother us. All of the disclaimers on the menu are a little off-putting and unnecessary I think, as we had a wonderful experience.

Ordered 3 plates of Kebabs. They served 2 small spoon of green chutney so we asked for more. Later we found out that they have added SGD 2 for extra chutney. Seriously? As cheap as it gets. Gulab Jamun was disgusting. When I asked waiter, he told me this is made up of Gits. Seriously 4.5sgd for Gits? Of course minimum 44 sgd policy is horrible. Staff was very rude and was not feeling to take any feedback. Look like a tourist trap. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Unacceptable terribly slow service with overpriced food. Placed order at 11.59AM via Grab, the app showed food was on the way at 12.29PM with ETA 1.40PM. Called to follow up via the number on Grab but couldn't get through. Finally got to speak to the stuff via the number on Facebook and finally after 6 calls, the food arrived at 2.54PM. Food tasted mediocre and portion is pathetic, 1 piece of butter naan costs $6.50. Will not reorder.

Experience in short terrible !!!! Very rude staff including the manager / owner. Seems the words 'Customer' and 'service' do not exist in their dictionary. No value for money at all !!!!! Tall claims put up on the menu like 'different taste, experience' fall flat on the first bite. Recommended for persons with deep pockets and no knowledge of Indian cuisine.

I am not a fan of eating out at Boat Quay since restaurants tend to be crowded and overpriced. The Husband went for a team dinner to this place and took me there a few weeks later since he liked it. The decor is fabulous and the cozy area on the balcony had a lovely view and was windy. Service was good, food was great and it was a lovely evening altogether. We got the samosas which I'd highly recommend. The rolls are good too, especially with the mint chutney that comes along with it. The phulkas were not really light, and were more like chapatis and the sai bhaji (greens with lentils) were light and perfectly cooked. The meal was light on the stomach and the lime soda was a great way to wash everything down. My only issue was the lack of space between tables. We could hear all the conversations of people nearby and that was a turn off. Otherwise, this is a perfect place for a date or date night. Also, there's a minimum amount per person you have to spend. At the time of us going, it was SGD 34 per person.

Food is ok. Environment is nice. Absolutely dislike the minimum spending of $43 per head, that is high! And for that kind of service? Not worth spending that much money there. Service not fantastic, if you order wine, they don't pour it for you (only 1 glass for the person testing it) , they don't refill your glasses. They ask you whether you want this or that, so you tell them what you want , then they inform you , oh we don't have this. Or said ok and then simply repeat the question again like you never answered before.

Traditional Colombo Village style curry in a great setting with fabulous views over the Singapore Riverside. Truly exceptional food and excellent and very attentive staff. Highly recommended. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.
