Exquisite setting, sensational food and service. Perched on the 57th level of MBS, the views around this restaurant are breathtaking. Inside the dining room, you get a light and comfortable ambience that has a smart casual vibe, which isn’t too formal but still provides a sense of occasion. Service is provided with a smile, attention to detail, and patience, which would please most whom these matter to. Short and sweet conversations and elaboration on the dishes that arrive makes the experience feel personalised and engaging, but not interruptive. As for the food, the photos speak for themselves. Packed with harmonious blends of flavour and texture from the East and West, they are also a pleasure to behold with the eyes. Some popular dishes include the tuna cones and agnolotti as starters, and the quail, pork loin, fish, and octopus as mains. Desserts such as the mango pana cotta and coconut coffee with chocolates are light and refreshing sweet endings to the meal. This restaurant in the sky has a charm that swept us away by the end of our time there, making us yearn for the next visit as we took the speedy elevator back down to the ground floor.

Spago Singapore at level 57 of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel is one of my go-to restaurant and I finally made it there on the 20 February 2022, which was also my birthday. This made the whole experience even more special and spectacular (at least to me). On giving 5 stars: - Phone reservation to confirmation to rearrangement process was professional and polite. The whole experience was smooth and seamless. (Some restaurants do messed up your reservations, hence that explains my anxiety.) - The service from the front-of-house to the service staff, and bartenders was pleasant and prompt as all of them acknowledged with eye contact. (Thanks Alfred for your sincere hospitality.) - Food was reasonably priced with luxurious portions and exceptionally well-done to my surprise. 2 pax for lunch at about $195 and we were too full to walk! Cocktails were really yummy though, try the “Good Girl Gone Bad” if you are into something spicy. I’m definitely bringing the rest of my friends for a visit again! (Not a sponsored post)

We had an incredible anniversary dinner experience at Spago. We ordered the 3 Course meal and every dish is a surprised. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the service was world-class. From the moment we walked in, the staff guided us throughout the night, explaining every detail of the dishes. They were friendly and accommodating, making our dinner even more fantastic. The only drawback was the pool view, where we could see people swimming in front of us.

  • 5/5 Kevin M. 1 year ago on Google
Delicious food and drinks, awesome views and environment, but surprisingly the service left something to be desired. Spago is located on top of "the boat", in the middle behind the pool. There is indoor and outdoor seating in the restaurant, and there is a superate bar area. Because it is behind the pool, you don't get direct city views like Ce La Vi...but it is also cool to look out across the pool. All the food we had was delicious, and price is pretty reasonable given what it is. $88 for 3 course menu. Only disappointment was the service. It was friendly, but we were often waiting for a while when we needed something. Didnt ruin the night by any means, still giving 5 stars, but wasn't top notch service. Overall was an awesome night and amazing experience.

Definitely an experience of its own. Came here for lunch and the staff are so friendly and professional. The 3 course dishes was recommended by the staff and the food was cook to perfection with great presentation! Atmosphere was great with views of the sea and the other side of the city! Definitely will come again!

Their food is absolutely delicious. We loved everything we ordered from the set menu. From the bread all the way to dessert. My personal favourite is the salted caramel soufflé. Can't stop thinking about it. A lot of skill is put into cooking all dishes, in particularly the fish fillet where the skin is fry in perfection where the scales become really 3D in texture. Very crispy.

We came here for dinner recently. It’s a little bit of a pain to get to the restaurant as you need to take an elevator from the lobby of MBS (tower 2), then change to another elevator. The entrance to the restaurant is also far from upscale. Inside, however, it’s pleasant and the views are of course nice. We went for the set menu, which is rather complicated due to the sheer number of top-ups. You almost wonder why they offer it as a set menu at all. However, all the food was really good and there are also some nice bargains on the wine list if you know what you’re looking for. I’d say skip the pasta add-ons unless you’re particularly hungry. The portions for the starter and main are already quite filling. Service was very good, as one would expect. Overall, we had a really nice evening and were quite happy with the experience. You definitely need to book ahead to come here but it’s worth a visit. Recommended.

We went there for a much anticipated anniversary date after taking our Covid jabs together. We ordered the seafood pasta, grilled lamb and orange duck breast with a bottle of Corimbo 2014 wine. We chose to sit pot side as we wanted to enjoy the sunset view over the city. They served us a generous basket of assorted breads which were just perfectly baked. The seafood pasta was well seasoned and Al dente. The duck breast is the best I’ve tasted so far.. absolutely palatable and tender. The lamb was also perfectly pink and tender. The staff also gave us a complimentary dessert when we told them we’re celebrating our anniversary. All in all, we had a really good time and the total bill was about $400+ including the wine.

The lunch set is really worth the money, even if you choose to do a top up for the more premium options. Mocktails were good too, but nothing spectacular. The service was great, despite the minor mix up with my salmon which didn't come fully cooked (we made a special note for no raw food since I'm heavily pregnant). That was quickly rectified and while waiting, my husband and I were happy to enjoy another round of their breads. Their breads are amazing, please don't skip them. Overall, I'd definitely return with my husband for special occasions. Do note that children below the age of 8 won't be able to dine here, so parents with young children may have to consider elsewhere.

Celebrated my birthday here and I must say, it was great! Dishes were on point and well presented. Servers were also very attentive as well. Had the opportunity to have a short conversation with Chef Greg as he was doing his rounds around the dinning area. Was such a pleasure to meet him. Overall, I will be back! Thank you to the whole team for the lovely attention to details.

Had the lunch set here and it was really worth the buck. All the food was yummy and even the complimentary bread was very fragrant too. The salmon rillettes were a burst of flavors in your mouth. The ingredients in the tuna cone complemented each other very well. The pork loin and quail sauce went well with each of them respectively. The octopus was tender. There was a waiter there who was very friendly and attentive.

Came here to spend a relaxing evening. The food was really to my liking (i ordered the 3 course dinner). I had no complaints with all the dishes I chosen. Service was great, did not manage to take down the server name but I felt extreme welcome and well taken care of by almost everyone I came across at Spago The view was fantastic, only downside is I'm being seated to the area with the lower ceiling which I would have preferred the high ceiling area which would have pushed the ambience to another level of my dining experience. Overall, this place is highly recommended with reasonable price for a 3 course fine dining.

One of the best meal we have had thus far in 2022! Spago is truly a FULL package. Being our first time here, we were both impressed with their food quality, service, every details and thoughts put into our meal, making our wedding anniversary a truly memorable one!! Highly recommend to go with tasting menu for 1st timers to try all their signatures.

Amazing food, amazing service. The pork tenderloin is amazingly tender and juicy. The service was really good, the staff were pro-active in checking in with us for our needs and requests. They even provided a birthday cake upon request as well as a birthday card with the staffs’ signatures. Really impeccable service and food, what else can I say?

First Spago experience and happy it was in Singapore. Service was top notch. Food was good. I enjoyed a unique apple lobster dish. I wasn't wowed by the taste, but presentation was nice. As for dessert...that was 5 star+. Some sort of chocolate, peanut butter, raspberry goodness. For a upscale, nice meal, it is definitely worth a visit.

I had a lunch there. The food was delicious, love every bits of it. The tuna cones were delicious as it should be, but what surprised me is the panna cotta tbh I can had another one on the spot #sooogoodd The staff were great. I was having my lunch alone where they offered the top notch service quality which they didn’t make me feeling awkward at all. All in all, this is one of the restaurant I would revisit again

We had a wonderful time at Spago! The service was exceptional. We ordered a 3-course meal and were served sourdough as a starter (outside of the 3-course meal), followed by the remaining courses. To our surprise, the staff brought out a slice of cake with a candle, along with a birthday card signed by all the staff in the restaurant. It was such a lovely experience to dine here. We will definitely come back.

This was my first time up on the roof level of MBS and wow, what a view. I was early for my reservation and chose to accept an outdoor seat instead of waiting for my assigned table indoors to be ready. It was the right decision. The view was glorious and the wait between dishes was used to take in the scenery. I was also pleasantly surprised by the food as the food I have tried at MBS thus far were pretty disappointing and sub-standard. I would definitely return to try some of the other dishes on the menu, especially their signature dessert, which requires 2 sets to be ordered to order it.

Can't beat the location of this restaurant. The restaurant is beside the famous Marina Bay sands pool. Great way to see the pool without staying at the Marina Bay Sands. However, the star is still the restaurant. We were there for lunch and ordered from their three course menu. The food was excellent from start to finish. The service was also very attentive. I would definitely recommend and would go back when we visit again in the future.

I was so excited to find reservations at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. The experience was amazing. The food was okay. I got the set menu, burrata, sea bass, and salted caramel souffle. The desert was not edible, too strong. The view from the bar side was BEAUTIFUL. I got to see the Gardens by the Bay show on ground and from up above. A

Went to Spago for my birthday lunch. Totally awesome. The food were great and the ambience was nice. While waiting for my table to be set up, they offered 2 glasses of complementary wine to keep me company. Visited on a weekday lunchtime, and had their 3 course set meal at $59. Worth!

Wonderful dinner yet again at Spago Dining Room. Came here with my girlfriends and had to bring my husband along for a birthday celebration. Service was warm and attentive with the staff coming over to check if we are doing ok and with warm water refills without us asking. Food was delicious and beautifully presented! We had a lovely dinner date and thank you, Spago and the crew for making it happen!

A very pleasant experience at Spago. Table faced a really nice infinity pool and city view, and staff were friendly and attentive. Ordered a 3-course lunch menu and two ala carte mains. Everything tasted good especially the Hamachi & scallop ceviche and Honey miso black cod. Complimentary breads were provided while waiting for food to be served and they equally nice. Will definitely return to try the other dishes.

Splendid fine dining restaurant that ensures consistent service excellence from reception to lift send off after an amazing delectable meal. We were blessed to get a terrace table with city view with cool breeze to accompany. Spiced Tartare cones, nicely cooked to perfection salmon imprints in mind. Regular check ins, every sincere greeting by each staff were well appreciated yet not intrusive. Looking forward to hold an non-restrictive event there soon.

My wife called to get a booking for my birthday meal, she was told that it was full and to try walk in as that would be ok. We went there and the staff directed us to the bar area even when we specifically told them it was for a meal. They told use the restaurant was full and had to eat in the bar area when they only serve snacks not a meal. After speaking with the management they eventually arranged to take us into the restaurant. When we got into the restaurant it was half empty and PLENTY of tables available! So don't be fooled if they tell you it's fully booked. Food was absolutely amazing couldn't fault it and would definitely go back again! The manager and waiter that served us was brilliant and very helpful and polite 10 stars 🌟 for this. The staff that work in the lounge well that's something to be desired.... The service from the people that were on the phone and the front desk in the lobby area was appalling!!! And they really need to work on custom service skills.

Incredible service! The staff were attentive along with being very knowledgeable of the menu. A major thank you to Joanne and her colleague who made our visit special. Myself and my wife went for the set menu. It was exceptional, especially the black cod with the seaweed caviar. Along with this the atmosphere was great and the views as you'd expect were fantastic. I would highly recommend guests to visit this restaurant, during their stay.

We had an amazing, professional and kind host. Chef prepared delectable meals. Spago provided a delightful and memorable experience for all the senses. We thank you for the very kind offerings for our birthday and graduation celebration. The dessert and cards were a meaningful touch. You have gone above and beyond and I would highly recommend your esteemed establishment. A wonderful evening all round with a sensational view. You have managed to keep in step with Wolfgang Puck’s reputation and have done him proud.

How to start this review? I really want readers to feel how magical this place is. The beginning: We were supposed to stay at MBS but due to my partner getting sick in Bali and not being able to enjoy sunlight/pool time (the reason for us booking) we had to cancel our booking. Albert from customer service was very understanding of the situation and canceled our booking but felt we deserved something considering the circumstances. He suggested reservations here and worked around timing, dietary restrictions and the wish of my partner wanting to have a pool view. We didn't expect much but we were in for a life changing dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff gave us a table with skyline/pool views and a beautiful cheese puff as a welcome. Our wonderful waiter Marek went above and beyond to not only help us through the menu but also present each creative dish. He knew we were celebrating a special occasion and the chefs surprised us with a seasonal pumpkin stuffed dish as an extra treat. For a starter I had the Big eye tuna tartar cones. The tartar cones tasted as amazing as they sound with the tuna just melting in my mouth. For the main course I had the wagyu steak (done rare) and my partner had the New York striploin steak (done medium rare) and it was done to perfection. Each bite of the steak was a burst of flavor that fell apart in our mouths; it was so perfect it didn't even need the reduced red wine sauce served with it however that only elevated the taste. The potatoes were beyond perfection and had their own creamy sauce. Even the veggies were a delight. I have a habit of saving a bite of what I enjoy most for the end so it could be the final taste in my mouth. Both the potatoes and steak were so epic I couldn't decide and had to have my partner take one off my plate so I wouldn't need to make the decision. Then there was the soufflé desert. My spoon just slid into the creamy fluffy richness. When my partner took the first bite I could literally see his eyes roll back into his head with pure delight. I have never in my life been so taken by a meal, it brought my eyes to tears. As if everything wasn’t already perfect when I arrived back from the washroom I mentioned to my partner how taken I was by the chefs that I wanted their autograph and just as I finished my sentence Marek walks over with a card that Congratulated us and had the autographs of all the staff. It was like a telepathic magic trick leading my partner to say "where is the mic?" It felt so surreal...but it wasn't just the food and the wonderful service provided, it was also the unbelievable attention to detail. There was a couple sitting next to us and the lady had a cute little purse but what caught my attention was that the staff placed a small seat next to her to put her purse on as if it had its own seat at the table. Marek was so attentive that it felt like words weren't needed, he just knew how we felt from studying our reactions and was quick to clear the table as we finished each dish. At the end after we paid our bill and were getting ready to leave Marek took us to the other side of the restaurant allowing us to have a few moments to view the waters and the Indonesian island across the other side. He had learned early in the evening that it was our final night in Singapore and went out of his way to give us one last breathtaking magical moment to remember. They say "A team is only as strong as their weakest link" and I couldn't find the weak link here. This was a solid team. Honestly I would travel back to Singapore just for this restaurant/experience again. I'm sure staying at MBS would have been amazing however I don't know how it could top this dining experience... If your in Singapore and celebrating something special as we were I highly suggest here. It will be something you'll never forget... Thank you to the staff at Spago for making our occasion only that much more special and gifting us with the best meal we've ever had. You have inspired our creativity and set the bar high.

It's our 3rd time eating at spago. Food is always good . Services was a little disappointment. We had a 600gram steak. As we couldn't finish , our server suggested we do a takeaway . So we waited awhile more to try to finish but we couldn't. So we told them we would like to pack the balance steak . After we had our dessert and bill and was about to leave . We ask for our takeaway . To our shock , They said they threw it away and apologised. They did offer to redo a new steak for us, but we had to wait around 20mins . We had guests from overseas and didn't want to make them wait . It's a bit disappointing. The server was not listening.

The best dining experience wifey and I have ever had! In fact, we were sad when it was over. They started us off with this pan de quejo. Brazilian style cheese bread with truffle oil. Really nice. They brought us 3 different different breads after: A mini baguette stuffed with cheese and mustard, a brioche stuffed with mushrooms and garlic, and a rye bread. They gave us a seaweed butter. The bread was inter planetary good. The appetizer dish I got was the burrata and asparagus salad. Wifey got the tuna tar tar cones. Taking a delicious bite with the view of the Singaporean skyline made me feel like I was flying through the buildings. Flavours I have never felt on my tongue. My main as the sirloin steak and wifey got the wagyu. These steaks came with a very nice and flavourful crust and cooked to perfection. Best steaks we ever had period. They even included these crazy layered potatoes. To finish we got this caramel soufle desert and it was a stunner. It had 3 different elements. The attention to detail in all these dishes is something I have never seen before. The hospitality is second to none. The servers are very attentive on which hand you eat with and are mindful of your needs.

Fantastic experience. The food was amazing. Had the octopus for starters which was firm yet tender at the same time, if you know what I mean. And matched with quite intriguing sauce and miso. Had the cod for mains and the fish was flaking off the only way fresh ones would. Wait staff was attentive. Really appreciate it when they showed us the fantastic back view of the Gardens without prompting when they realised we wanted to take in the scenery.

Best taste:atmosphere:price ratio bar none in Singapore w.r.t. the 3 course prix fixe. Came here for my honeymoon and the servers congratulated us without prompting from the reso note and added a nice touch on our dessert. 10/10 would recommend.

My visit to Spago this evening was a fantastic experience. Waiting staff had great energy and did their absolute best to help make you feel at home. Ambience is fantastic for both the indoor and outdoor seating spaces. The 3-course-meal starts off at $75, with the option to upgrade your dishes. A truly flexible menu which is favorable to the customer. All dishes served for the night had great variety in textures and flavours. Starters - A tomato soup with tomato butter, and an apple salad with lobster. Both were unique dishes that got us excited for our mains. Mains - The black cod and Iberico pork we ordered had the right doneness. Both dishes were packed with flavour, and serving size is definitely enough to fill you up. Flavours are well balanced. Dessert - The sea salt caramel souffle was definitely an interesting twist to the typical souffle and worth a try - I wouldn't rave about it, but its still pretty decent in my books. Extras ordered - A flat white... Which i felt was a bit too mild. Would've preferred one with a stronger body, but thats just my opinion. This hearty meal for 2 amounted to $210 after tax so its definitely worth the reservation. The balcony view is also pretty stonks since the front view is only much better if you're allowed into the infinity pool area. Also, dont forget the free parking, and valet service if you spend above $150 at Spago (if i recall correctly).

Very friendly waiters and they made the night extra special! Had a complimentary appetiser cos of long wait time (which we didn't felt it was long) 🤗 food was amazing too! Esp that sea bass dish, it was like as though a Fish Wellington instead of beef! A need to try! Well done Chef and team!

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent ambiance and view. Anna the wait staff was very pleasant and hospitable. Kudos to the chef for an excellent menu. We had 4 different starters and all were delicious and artfully plated : - Big Eye Tuna Tartare Cones had flavours of wasabi , smokey bonito married well with sweet savoury crispy lacey cones. - Japanese Amelia Tomato Soup was smooth, creaminess and intense in flavour. - Smoked Salmon Rillettes creaminess paired beautifully with the crispy baguette. -Hamachi and Scallop Ceviche was fresh and yuzu tartness made it refreshing. We were also very delighted with the mains, both with the taste and presentation : -Grilled Iberico Pork Loin was lean and juicy -Miso Broiled Ora King Salmon was served on a Hoba leaf. The fish was fresh and the vinegered Hijiki Seaweed Rice with various pickles were the perfect accompaniment. -Honey Miso Broiled Black Cod also served on a Hoba leaf , was just as fresh with a good balance of both sweetness and savouriness from the honey and miso. Hijiki rice and pickles were also served with the cod. -Grilled Mushroom Swiss Burger had a nice juicy patty of beef which came with a big portion of fries. Desserts were delicious to say the least : - Coconut Panna Cotta was creamy and this was balanced by the tartness from the mangoes and passion fruit - Traditional Kaiserschmarrn a fluffy sweet pancake with rum soaked raisins and powdered sugar. This came with a plate of cut strawberries and strawberry ice cream. An order is meant for 2. -Sticky Toffee Pudding served with mascarpone ice cream was not too sweet but the toffee was a tad too savoury. Beware of the warm mushroom bread and sourdough bread. They were so deliciously good with the seaweed butter you might get carried away. I highly recommend dining here and would return.

Went to Spago twice now. This time for my anniversary. The experience is outstanding. Service is excellent, everything on menu tastes exceptional and the cocktails are really good. Their wine collection is very exhaustive and they have an in-house sommelier to help you select. They also gave us a handwritten note signed by staff to wish us and offered a dessert on the house as a gesture of us celebrating our special day. I would definitely visit again and recommend this place for celebrating special occasions.

Very reasonable pricing for the set lunch and you could opt to choose something different from the Ala carte menu and top up the difference. You got to try the cocktails! Will definitely be back.

Perfect location for business lunch. We sat at an outdoor seat with a stunning view of the Singapore skyline. Waiters were quick to serve water once we were seated and were very helpful with the recommendations, which were one spectacular course after another. The oysters were fresh and the unique sauce made a perfect pairing. The agnolotti with porcini mushrooms burst with flavor, followed by the restaurant's signature tuna tartare cones, which were an excellent balance of spice and crunch. Certainly must-try dishes.

Great service, atmosphere, and most importantly great food! Came here for our anniversary dinner, arrived earlier than the time we reserved but the staff were accommodating. They got us a table immediately, no rushing us to leave either. We had the 3 course set, then topped up for Wagyu, etc. We weren't disappointed in everything we ordered. Tip: When booking, ensure you ask for the Spago Dining Room. It's different from the other Bar & Lounge which isn't as good. Went there earlier this year as well.

Great place, we went for new years eve without a booking. Lucky enough they had space to accommodate 5 of us. However each of us gotta choose the 3 course meal at 275++/pax. For the service and ambiance I say it’s worth it. However, do come by during the non peak seasons which will make every $ spent much more worth it

My second trip there and was happy to say service and food are right up there with the best. Had a selection of dishes to try with a few family members and must say was not disappointed. The seaweed butter was an awesome way to start on the lovely bread basket. You can tell every dish was prepared with care and tasted as good as they look. Standouts for me were the tartare tuna served like mini cones and the iberico pork chop. When you decide to take a short break in between the delectable selections and walk outside you are greeted by a panoramic night view of the Gardens by the Bay and its surroundings. Service was attentive to a fault. Deserving of subsequent visits. Thanks for the lovely evening!

We had a great time in Spago! Came here for dinner and was shown to our table by Beverly, a very friendly lady. Proceeded to order the 3 course dining attended by no other than Anna. Anna was super friendly and attentive throughout our dining session, kudos to Anna! We were served sourdough as a starter (out of the 3 course meal) followed by the rest. We booked the dining session and we selected ‘birthday’ as a remark. To our surprise, Anna brought out a slice of cake with candle alongside a happy birthday card signed by all staffs in the restaurant. Such a lovely gesture! We loved the experience and will definitely be back! (We were told to enjoy the gardens by the bay view walking out to the private terrence, which was magnificent)
