If you do not want to read the whole review the summary is book somewhere else... [Update: on the second day I spoke with the operations manager and they finally cleaned the second room that they gave me to a satisfactory standard after several attempts prior to that - keep in mind that's a 4* hotel] I have prepaid for early check in so that I can go to my room to have a quick nap after a red eye flight. Upon checking in and getting the ticket the first room was a disgrace as far as cleaning is concerned and especially with their "Global Safety Commitment" The dust was so thick on top of the shelves that if it was wiped once in the last 6 months would have been a miracle. Upon complaining to the reception and coming back after 5 hours they told me that the room was cleaned. That could not have been far from the truth. These rooms the last time that they have been deep and properly cleaned was when the hotel was built and even at that point I would heavily question it. I have then supposedly be upgraded to a better cleaner room. The wooden stools I assume their original colour was light brown however currently they look more like grey from the dust that has settled after all the years that they have not been cleaned. In addition there is a strong smell of cigarette ( I am in a mission to find where it is coming from), blinds are being held together with pink strings, one wooden step is a bit wobbly and the last time the curtains were cleaned was again when they were first installed. The main issue here is that the cleaning team cannot see what the problem is and they expect the guest to point out what needs cleaning. I am currently in a pickle whether I should spend some time to clean the room as I will stay here for a week or check out and book at another hotel... All in all, a one to two star quality hotel on a price of a 4 star.

Check-in time is ostensibly 3pm. I arrived at 3.26pm, joined the queue for check-in, and only reached the check-in counter at 4.10pm. Mind you, there were only 3 staff checking in the guests. Once at the counter, I was told that my room was not yet ready. I asked why and the check-in dude said “because school holidays and need to prepare for a lot of people. Will call you when room is ready.” No apologies. No estimate given of check-in timing. Question in my head: So if I check in late can I check out late too? Second question in my head: Why didn’t you anticipate the increase in room bookings during the school holidays? Overall sentiment at the moment: Quality of service is really lacking. It’s 4.34pm now and I’m still waiting for my room. I mean… at least do a better job at mollifying your guests? 🤷‍♂️

Nice urban styled hotel near the river. Pleasant service by the front desk team👏. We stayed there for 5 nights in Jan/Feb 2024. There is a good buffet with omelet robot and a wide assortment og goodies. we used the pool twice, it is a never a hotel I would used with small children.

The queue was super long, took us 2 hrs to queue for our room. When its our turn we were told that room not ready for us. Its only 2 person at reception area which is stupid. If you know its so long queue you have 4 counters then u arrange 4 people right? Or do something with the self check in? So it wont be so long queue. And check out time is 11am but we only get our room at 630pm? Which is half day wasted. Service not good too. The management needs to come up something for this lol. And i will never recommend my friend or family to ever come stay here. 4 star hotel yet the worst hotel ever

I arrived at 3:30pm, manage to get into my room by 6:30pm. Initially waited in the check-in queue for 1 hour+, when I was checking in. Was given a coupon to go to the restaurant to have a drink since the room was not ready. While we were at the restaurant was asked leave the place by 5;30 since they had something to do. So only manage to sit down for a little while. Back to standing and waiting. After entering the room, had a couple meetings to attend. The wifi was not stable. Maybe it was only for our room. The next day wanted to go to the gym, but was fully booked. Was not informed that we had to make a booking to get into the gym. So we left home as soon as possible, since all these amenities were better at home. We paid close $400 and the experience was not there.

Rooms are super small, with sink inside the room. A turn off for me. Although fancy with high ceiling in cathedral style it does not bring any additional comfort to the room if not more darkness. Corridors are also super small and price is above market rate. There are definitely better places outthere

Shoddy service from front desk to wait staff, food is very average. Rooms small (no problem with that, definitely big enough and well thought out) but they are very tired. Little nearby public transport, but peaceful location. Cannot comment on the pool - it was locked.

I think the hotel can improve on customer friendliness and service. They were below average for the price you pay. There were also people serving quarantine orders(?) who will likely be staying in the same level as you (as noticed by the disposable food trays placed outside the room). Quite irked by it but sure, it's a pandemic, what to expect? The saving grace was quick response time for guest services and cosy room.

It's a nice and neat hotel, but it just has too many quirks. The check-in did take as long as other reviews mentioned. The room is small. The sink is almost right by the bed, and a loft for the tv and sofa (which I never used because it's not very practical). The breakfast was nice and the robot making eggs is pretty cool.

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of restaurants but the actual quality of the room is incredibly low for the high price. The rooms are not spacious, ours smelled horribly of old cigarette smoke, had a broken phone (which we requested to be fixed) and seemed of poor quality inside. Floors were a bit sticky, bed linens had stains and the complimentary “luxury” toiletries are not an accurate description of what you actually receive. The cups in the room are plastic and the general maintenance and upkeep of the interior seems a bit sad and not a priority. Let’s not even talk about the perfume that stinks up the lobby when you arrive. Is this to help sell a product? If so, it’s in poor taste and just overwhelmingly gross when you are checking in/out. Breakfast is fine but truthfully I’d save your money and head to a nearby restaurant. Of all the options in Singapore, skip M Social and stay elsewhere. I would not recommend it.

The standard room was really small. But the loft room was nice and worth the upgrade. The room was quite dim even with all the lights on, probably more suitable for couples. Location was great for walk around town. The use of swimming pool was easy to book onsite. Simple breakfast was delivered to our room as ordered. We found crumbs on the sofa and toothpaste cover at the basin. Otherwise, it was overall clean. It will be better if there was complimentary parking.

Quiet location, and being near to the Singapore River has its charms. It's a short walk to Clarke Quay and Chinatown and has many restaurants in its vicinity. It's nice to see a lot of people jogging and walking their dogs in the neighbourhood as well. The staff are polite, kind and also discreet (much appreciated though there's no need for that since I was with my mother). The room was very thoughtfully designed for a small space. Loved the ambience, lighting, the windows and the pointed rooftop design.

A modern hotel with numbers of interesting room design. I personally like the interior treatment for the room, the room looks much bigger than its actual size. Small but cosy. Hence a good venue for the youth to spend a long weekend or traveller for short stay. Further, the location of the hotel is good. Surrounded by historical downtown of Singapore with modern touch. In terms of amenities, it is limited but matched with its star rating. In terms of service standards, I think it is far below expectations for Millennium group. Especially very slow in checking-in, even under the current restrictions on number of guests allowable in the room. Luckily can "drop key" for express check-out, to save some frustration. I believe the bottleneck is their undersized main lobby, thus lack of holding space for the guests. Overall experience is still "below expectations", even if it a 3-star hotel.

Long check in, decent cleanliness, many mess-ups Room design was great, even though small. Would appreciate if check-ins were staggered instead of letting people queue. Ushered to sit in a restaurant and given a drink, a nice gesture but I would think it didn't make up for the 3 hour wait. Check-in/receptionist was trying to clear the queue, and made me sign forms which had T&C, but was irate when I asked for details. Had special request (2 rooms to be on same floor) which were not entertained. Room cleanliness is decent. But could be improved; saw small dots on bathroom floor that I could easily wash away. Sink seemed slightly clogged. Power plugs were damaged. Filed a report but no one came. Asked for breakfast at 8.30-9.15, delivered at 10.05. Staff generally helpful. When asked for water to be delivered to room, it came pretty quickly, so that's appreciated.

I loved my 7-day stay here and the breakfast buffet was worth it. The place is nice but expect small rooms. Same size as Japanese hotels but I can't give it 5 stars because they don't have a bidet in the bathroom. As an Asian, I am quite shocked and disappointed by that. (Imagine, no bidet for 7 days!!)

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Rooms are small - especially for the price - but that's quite normal for Singapore. Gym is ok but small and pool is great. However both open late, at 8 am. Breakfast was also very delicious

We had a great stay. The hotel is funky and in a great location. We dined at Beasts and Butterflies where our waitress, Shiloh, ensured we had a great evening. She always had a smile and was helpful, which was most appreciated. Will definitely come back here.

This is my first visit to beast & butterflies and I am super amazed by the service crew ARMANDO. He let us feel so welcome and all the recommendation and service by him! Although the restaurant is busy, he will come and check on us about the food and anything else we need! Awesome service and I will recommend to all my friends!

The current Google review you see doesn't reflect the actual quality of this beautiful hotel. It seems like everyone is giving this hotel poor reviews because of the restaurant so let's separate that please. Rooms here are so beautiful and unique. Boutique, chic, quaint, cozy, but stylish, is the best way to describe it. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. They will help you with anything asked. Went out of their way to help me with further bookings the minute I arrived and checked in. The pool is nice and has nice views of the surrounding buildings and the Singapore River. I didn't use the gym but it looks fun and fresh. I would like to shout out Ms. Anne Leyran, the senior guest experience manager who held the workshops offered here. Her vibe was fun and refreshing, unlike most stuck up hotel seniors. She helped me with the brickbear painting (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and the perfume workshop (ALSO HOGHLY RECOMMEND). Those workshops were so fun and she made it so comfortable to do. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for something fun, unique, but stylish.

We love this hotel! Conveniently located and really stylish. Slightly small rooms and bed but comfy! We liked it so much we chose to stay again in March. They were kind enough to let us leave some luggage in their storage to come back to ! See you in March, m social!

Staff are amazingly nice. Rooms are small as are the beds, no good if you have big cases. The pool is a good size with water available. Its location is good if you are happy to walk at least 10 minutes to public transport. Surrounded by lost if nice restaurants.

The staff here are wonderful, I had the best salmon of my life tonight recommended by Armando and Shiloh, and the reception staff are lovely and so helpful. The hotel is in a great location, not far from Havelock MRT and the bed is like a marshmallow. Would definitely recommend!

The stay was pleasant although room was small. Cleanliness could have been improved as I could find hair on the mirror, bed and even the stairs to the loft. The hotel seems understaffed. Many times, I have called the hotel. Regardless of before checking in or during the stay, no one picks up the call most of the time. This is very frustrating. The hotel breakfast was quite good although it was quite slow. The staff in general are very well-mannered. The perfume workshop was a major draw and I emailed long ago to book it. It was confirmed. But when I arrived, it was cancelled. Upon questioning, I found out because of the restrictions, the priority was given to rooms with the workshop already in the package. This upset me greatly because no email was sent to explain why it was cancelled. However, the hotel did manage to rearrange one for me so that I would not be thoroughly disappointed. It was a good workshop and it was worth it.

The room was quite small compared to rooms in other hotels for the same price range but the bed and pillows were comfortable. Basic toiletries were provided and hair dryer. The fridge was small but it was okay if you are just going to chill your drinks. When requesting for additional toiletries such as shampoo, etc. You have to get it yourself from the reception. No one will bring it to your room which is quite inconvenient for guests. No one also made up my room in the morning even though I was away for a few hours.

Overall stay was pleasant, on the very first entry towards the room, the hallway was rather dark and does not look too well maintained. Although the case, the room we stayed in was clean definitely, although just slightly underwhelming against he excellent photography of the room. That said, the room grows on you and we strongly others to stay for an additional day like we did to feel the room. The sink and toilet were a particular downer though, as the sink was overly flat and tend to trap stains and dirt, while the toilet was rather hard to navigate due to the efficient use of space. Nonetheless, the rain shower was comfortable. Service would be the main highlight, staff was pleasant from check in all the way till we checked out, especially the operations stuff who brought us extra towels and pillows, and robes and the list goes on. Shout out to Fiona from the beast and butterfly restaurant who gave the class on mixology, she was absolutely killing it and made the experience that much better. Unfortunately, our perfume workshop instructor had to get a COVID swab, so the entire stay was slightly dampened. Location wise, surrounded by boat quay, plenty of options for food and strolls. My partner and I went to central on foot and enjoyed the evening walk and enjoying our time together for sure. Sleep quality is subjective, but was pretty average for me due to the soft beds, but it was quiet in general so can't say too much on that. Great experience! 4 stars!

Room was much smaller than shown in pictures. Due to the narrow space, my partner and I bumped into it a few times. Before we even used the toilet, I could smell and faint 'urine' odour when I was lying on the left side of the bed, my partner who was on the right did not smell anything unusual - the toilet was on the left side of the bed. I upgraded to a terrace room, outdoor light was not working. We were only there for one night so we didn't want to waste time having it fixed. Touch light provided in the room also did not work well. I would not recommend the terrace room. The cocktail workshop was fantastic, we had a great time with Fiona, the restaurant and bar manager! We wanted to add on the perfume workshop but it was fully booked. Service was adequate in general, all in all, we enjoyed our stay :)

We stayed at M Social Hotel in April 2021. This was before the further tightening of restrictions and we had an excellent stay at the hotel. We stayed in a Loft Terrace room and the space was nice and sufficient. The room was well furnished with lots of amenities such as a Nespresso machine and a minibar. The terrace was nice, but had a lot of dried leaves, but it's fine because it was surrounded my plants and trees, so that's to be expected. The staff at the hotel were really friendly too in helping us get access to the pool area (which your key card needs access to), as well as the whole check in process, which was lengthier than usual due to added safe management processes, but they always made us feel at home and welcome. The location is great if you're planning to go to Clarke Quay as it's just a nice 10 - 15 minute stroll along the river, especially during evenings. But if you would like to access the trains and buses, it's quite a bit of a walk, which might be inconvenient for some folks, especially if you're planning on bringing elderly people on your trip. Our stay included breakfast at the restaurant located beside the lobby. The food was decent but not something to write home about. Overall, it was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for couples looking for a nice place to stay for an anniversary or special occasion.

hi there. The room that I stayed in is comfortable and clean; very suitable for accommodation and hotel stay. However, i feel that it is not conducive / suitable for work. As it is a work from hotel package, i feel that there is no proper chair to the office desk space and i end up have to sit on the bed. Plus the room lighting is not bright enough for me to do my work and zoom meetings. Perhaps team can repackage the room a bit more to suit the work from hotel theme.

It was a pleasant stay at M Social Hotel. The location was relatively quiet as it was not facing any major roads and the at the back of the hotel is the nice and calm Singapore river. There are a lot of food and cafe options just beside the hotel and it is located in the middle of very popular dining spots visited by expats and locals alike. The check-in and out was very smooth. Although the Alcove Cosy room wasn't the biggest, it was very quiet (with good noise cancellation from the walls) and very comfy. The design of the room and lighting was also very modern, clean-cut and soothing. Would definitely visit again in future! :)

The room is smaller than what is shown in pictures and pillows were in a pretty weird sqaure shape that are meant for sofas and its very uncomfortable, aircon is not even cold and it even got worse in the middle of the night! Woke up afew times to check on the aircon but its still the same! Even fan is more cooling!! Room also has a weird musky smell when entered… Staff were very polite tho

I have made special requests on both Agoda and email as I was planning to celebrate my anniversary with my partner. The latter was acknowledged by your staff, and I was told that they are subjected to availability and I could contact the hotel on the day of arrival if there are any rooms available for early check in. However, I tried calling several times on my arrival date and there was not once the call was being picked up. I accepted the fact that the hotel might be busy, so I came slightly earlier than the check in timing of 3PM and queued. When I arrived at the front desk, I was being told that the room allocated to me will be 2 SINGLE BEDS, and on a low level (Level 4) even though the actual booking of my room stated QUEEN BED. The staff told me that the hotel is fully booked for the day and there were no more rooms. How is there no more rooms at 3PM (actual check in timing)? This came as a shock to me as I found out that my close friend who checked in on the same day as me but at a later time (8PM) managed to get a Queen size bedroom on Level 8 when he made a last minute booking. The room allocated to me was missing a hairdryer, and doesn’t have a working TV remote and telephone so I had to go down to the reception to make my bookings for the pool/gym personally and requests for cutleries/ice bucket. The lobby staff sent an engineer to my room to get the phone fixed. A few hours into my stay I needed to ask for a new towel so when I reached for the phone I realized that the phone wouldn’t turn on again so I went down to the lobby for the second time to ask for help. This time, the lobby staff told me that they have ran out of towels and gave me 2 numbers to contact if I needed assistance, 66570037 & 91839307, both of which I couldn’t get through to. Eventually the same engineer came to my room to fix the room phone and helped me solve the towel issue that was sent to my room 30 mins later. Even with the phone finally fixed, I tried making some calls to the front desk, probably about close to 10 times, and not a single call was being picked up.

Hello, My family and I enjoyed the hotel (room + swimming pool) and Beast & butterflies restaurant. But it seems like both the front desk and restaurant were shortage of manpower. The check in queue was super long and they are unable to pick up calls and reply email. The Beast & butterflies restaurant foods was super delicious (my 7 years old son enjoyed so much that he ordered the same Beast burger for both lunch and dinner). One of the restaurant manager Ms Fiona was very helpful and friendly, even the breakfast part time staffs were nice and friendly (I think one of the server was called May)

Had some issues that cropped up and tried to reschedule the trip, but I could not reach the customer service at all. All numbers given lead to a dead end or voice mail. If there is a number given but no one mans it, what's the point in having a number in the first place. Absolutely spoiled the excitement I had for the trip I booked. The room itself was cozy and as advertised, the bed was comfortable and the bed was spacious enough to fit 2. Service staff at the hotel itself was good. They were kind and friendly, if only this could have translated to non-face to face interactions. Overall it was a good experience at the hotel itself but because of my prior experience in dealing with the customer service I advise those intending to go to be wary of the unreachable customer service.

5 stars for the perfume workshop but 2 stars for the hotel. Maison 21G workshop - We had a great time and the facilitator was patient and helpful. Managed to find a nice unique scent to take home. The perfume workshop made the whole package worth it. M Social Hotel - Just note that when they say 3pm check-in and 12pm check-out they really mean 4pm check in and 11am check out. Their reason was due to Covid (understandable since they may need more time to clean the rooms), but this should really be stated when booking rather than at the check-in counter. - Do come earlier for check-in as the queue at 3pm is insane. - We asked for a spare towel for our room but we were met with the answer that the hotel policy is 2 towels for one room - nothing more will be given! Nope, not even if it is apparently a 4-star hotel. An extra towel is apparently too much of a luxury. - Location wise the hotel is near great eateries and bars. A 15 minute walk to Clarke Quay MRT so you may want to take the bus if you are coming in the afternoon from CQ.

Booked a loft premier room. Staff were friendly but they are definitely not getting enough support from the management. Reached the hotel lobby at 2.55pm and saw a long queue (understandable as the staffs were making sure that everyone were vaccinated and all). However when we reached the check in counter at 3.35pm, we were told that our room wasn't ready and in return, we were given 2 complimentary drinks and were asked to wait at the restaurant. After sounding off our disappointment to one of the staffs, we finally got to check in at 4.25pm. The staff did gave us a late check out timing at 2pm instead of the usual 12pm. Just when we think that things will be ok after that, no. On the day of our check out, we were woken up 2 times by the housekeeping staff telling us that they are not aware of our extended check out timings. After which we received another call by the staff again asking about the same issue. This just shows the lack of proper communication among them. This hotel was booked for as a surprise birthday celebration, delivery of cakes and food were prepared before hand and due to time spend waiting to check in, our food turned cold. To be honest, I don't recommend anyone who wants to do their wedding proposal or any other forms of celebrations here because with the kind of planning/coordination they possess, they will most likely screw it up. A casual stay would be fine, but there are way better hotels out there. Reviews looks promising thus we went for it. However after this bad experience and also heard from a friend who used to work there telling us how bad the management is, I seriously don't recommend this place to anyone. P.s. Prior to our stay, we made 5 calls but there were no answers. No one has the decency to call and inform that the rooms were not ready. It wasn't just us who were being asked to wait, everyone who is in the queue were directed to the restaurant instead of their rooms. No surprised why some of the customers flared up by the counter. I appreciate the staffs being nice and all but no excuses for all these hiccups.

Extremely long wait before my room was ready (5:30pm, as compared to check in time at 3:00pm). Room surfaces were full of dust, bathroom not properly cleaned (hairs on the floor), and refreshments were not replenished when I checked-in. Service standards were lacking - requesting for toiletries at 10pm one night and calls to M'bassador and Front Desk were ignored. For a non-smoking hotel, there were neighbouring guests who were smoking and the aircon vents brought the smoke into my room. I would be hesitant to recommend M Social to anyone.

Made reservation under my name but my guest wanted to check in first. She was denied entry even though she had the booking confirmation slip from me. Staff informed her that an email from me was needed to authorise her to check in. She was carrying a heavy load and had nowhere to go. After I sent the email, staff also claimed not to have received it. Fortunately I forwarded the email to my guest as well, if not she would not have been able to get iin. Change this policy as no other hotel I've been to makes it so difficult to check in. They could easily call the mobile number in the online booking to verify the check in with me, instead of making me write an email. My guest had to wait outside for a long while until I could get to a PC terminal to send the email. Very bad experience.

Premium Loft Room was booked via trip.com and email was sent to check in at 1500hrs. We were however only checked in at 1700hrs. The que management and priority was indeed poor. There lacked a system to effectively check in the guests promptly and especially on first come first serve basis. There were no options to fill any forms online to facilitate the process. The breakfast menu and the charges for the breakfast don't make sense. The breakfast was served to the room only after repeated calls to the front desk which is always taking at least 8-10 repeated calls to be made to finally get through to the front desk. Breakfast served but no cutleries served and there are no in-room cutleries as well. We had to wait another 20mins for the cutleries to be served. The Quality of the room is not acceptable as well. PLEASE CHECK ROOM 302. The blinds are broken and not fixed. The ceiling is filled with mold and dew stains. The tv is awkwardly positioned and the number of chanels for a "cable tv" in comparison to other hotels is poor. Honestly we regretted our choice of staycay at MSocial and we will neither be back nor recommend the hotel to anyone else.

When we entered the room, we already feel that the room is already quite dirty. Not to mention, we indicated for a higher floor room but a level 3 room was allocated to us... Not to mention but the couple next door were screaming and shouting, doors were banging the whole night. We also used the swimming pool facility the next morning, to our surprise, no fresh clean towels were on standby by the poolside. We had to go back to our room drenched in water. On a more positive note, it was a rainy day and we borrowed an umbrella from the staff. The staff was more than happy to lend us one.

Rooms were stylish and clean but lighting was poor (No desk light). Service fell below expectations: There was practically no room service. Calls to the front desk/M'bassador took minutes to get through. Had to go down on my own to ask for things. The lobby seemed to be understaffed too. In-room Breakfast fell below expectations: The Nasi Lemak had no Chicken wing even though it was included in the description (we were just served alot of rice, egg, and otah). Small issue but it was a little disappointing in the morning as we were looking forward to the breakfast. There were youngsters seen entering the hotel/rooms in groups of >5 persons (against safe distancing rules at this time). There was no strict sign in/out rule in the hotel. I invited 4 other guests to my room but we found ourselves having to take our own initiative to ask the staff if we needed to sign in. (This was quite amusing) I initially bought this deal for value ($188 a night is really affordable) but at ~$200 you can probably get a better deal elsewhere.

Location was far from public transports and there wasn't any complimentary parking provided. Had to walk far with heavy bag just to find the hotel and it's not easy to recognise the hotel just by looking at it.

Omg, is super horrible experience with M social hotel, hospitality is super bad. I booked the staycation for my fiancé bday. They made us waited for freaking 2 hours to check in. Asked for late check out and nothing the staff could do. Staff told out to voice out at the management of the hotel. While the management are hiding behind the whole situation. Ground staff are left to handle the situation with unhappy customer and complains. While waiting for check in the crowd management for social distancing wasn’t not comply either. Really a bad experience for such an occasion, is the longest check in I have ever waited in my life.

Unpleasant experience overall. 1. Check-in: check out time was supposed to be 12pm. But instead was told that our check out time was 11am because we arrived 1 hour earlier than the check in time at 3pm. proceeded to tell us this was due to the COVID-19 restrictions but we have also stayed at other hotels before and such a "restriction" was never used on us. This was not stated in the terms and conditions. 2. Request for amenities: Requested for for ice bucket and wine glass but was told that I had to personally head down to the front desk to retrieve it myself, which was fine. However, upon approaching front desk staff, was told that we had to get it from the resturant ourselves instead. Proceeded to the restaurant and was then told by the resturant that they "ran out of it" (mind you, the restaurant has a BAR. and it was 9pm) and I had to head back to the front desk to retrieve it instead. Went back to the front desk and again requested for said items and was then given an excuse that it would be more convenient to get it from the resturant which was why they didn't not give it to us in the first place. but the wine glasses were readily available at the store room just behind the front desk. Request for late check-out: Proceeded to the front desk to request for late check out after a mediocre breakfast at 9am and was told that they could extend our late check out by an hour and front desk staff then requested for our room keys to make the necessary adjustment. Subsequently called the front desk again to confirm the late check out and was told that the incident never happened and no late check out was granted at all. Would have been charged extra if we did not call to confirm the late check out again and front desk staff would have feign ignorance of what had happened. Overall a very unpleasant experience and would definitely not make this a choice of destination again. Staff response was poor and denied request that was agreed upon and made it sound like guest were being uncooperative. oh by the way, if you tried calling the front desk, chances are your call will not be answered. and if you arrive after 3pm, be prepared to wait long for check in (we went to great world city and came back to the same bunch of people still queueing).

Stayed in the queen terrace room with the outside balcony, but the balcony was so dirty, the sofa chair was very dusty with cigarette holes, and cigarette butts were also all over the floor. did not end up using the balcony although that was the whole point why i chose that room. check in procedure was long, queue was long too, don't bring our hopes up for early check in and late check out if you can't keep to it..

Overall, it was not a bad staycation. But there were no highlights either. The location was great. A lot of fnb spots within walking distance. Robertson quay provided a nice stroll. The room was a loft and was cosy for 2 pax. Blinds werent working quite properly. Service at checkin was alright, however i did feel that the counter staff tend to come off a little standoffish. This may rub some the wrong way. But i'm chill. We were there during rainy days so we didnt get to use the pool. Staycays = no gym days, so, didnt visit the gym either.

Cosy cove room - smaller than expected, weird room design, toilet door is heavy, hand wash basin is in room(no hand wash in toilet), hard to use the chair that is in the room due to space restrictions. Power outlet looks worn Queue to get check in about an hour, not sure if its due to covid check or what? But longest check in i ever had during pandemic, not to mention before arrival already booked the check in time slot Breakfast is okay, bread is hard, forgot some of our orders. While place looks confusing, can see manager and staff shouting across the floor Did not try the pool/gym(no instructions to book) Overall- probably good for not expecting much, or can try other room type

Hotel room is extremely small but then again, the price has to fit so is as expected. The price is very affordable therefore expect them to always be full occupancy and long check-in process should you book on a weekend starting Friday. Every facilities including breakfast, booking has to be made and I am sure we are all now use to it since this happened since the start of COVID therefore you want a pool with less crowd, you go on a extremely hot afternoon. Surprisingly, breakfast was not crowded when I had it on 14 Nov (Sun).

Came here with my family on 2 Jan. There was a long queue to check in to a room. At first, we got a room but when we tried tapping in, the door couldn't open, asked the housekeeper for help but they suggested that the scanner had no battery (?) So we went down to the reception desk to request a change of room but there was no room. We had to wait for more than 3 hours! They could probably had a better time arrangement and staggered the check in instead of letting us come and wait here when we could be doing something else instead. They did gave us 2 drink coupons and allowed us to wait at the cafe, and the host at the restaurant is really friendly.

Staycation with my husband several times in this hotel and will definitely come back for more. The experience that we had is very nice and relaxing time. I love the perfume workshop it is so in details and very fun. The room is nice as always clean and neat but also very chic and unique. The staff is nice and always there to help even though we called and asked a lot of questions they always there to make sure we get everything we need. Overall this is my favourite hotel in Singapore.

I would have given it a 5 stars if it have bidet in the toilet and halal food around the vicinity. Purposely looking for a room with balcony and got a loft terrace. Its a non smoking hotel so you don't need to be worried of tobacco smell lingering in the room when entering.

I stayed at the property for a state-wide Workability and Transition conference with over 1000 attendees. The check-in staff was very professional, very polite, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The meeting facilities were nice also. My only concern was the size of the resort and convention center. It is quite large and I feel could be somewhat better labeled. I found myself getting lost a lot because the property looks very much alike throughout. There are many fountains, pools, rose bushes, etc. Otherwise, a great experience and I would certainly recommend to family and friends.

For a 4 star hotel you think they'd provide basic amenities, at least upon request – wine glasses. Had to call and sweet-talk the kitchen and front desk multiple times, both of whom gave conflicting information. It really shouldn't have to be that hard to get 2 wine glasses. Also asked to use a lighter but was denied because the restaurant only had one to spare? The restaurant bartender/servers and front desk lady (Shirley) was amazing and very helpful though!

Absolutely loved my stay at M Social Singapore, especially the rooms! Stayed in the Loft Gallery Room fir 4 days. The terrace architecture, high ceilings, big windows and details of the interior design were super cozy and special. The room is very well isolated and extremely quiet. It was clean as well. WiFi was very fast. The location of the hotel is perfect to take a run across the Singapore river or access Singapore downtown by foot (or bus line 51)with a few nice cafes and restaurants around. The service personal was very friendly and accommodating for all my needs. Check-in was very quick. Breakfast could last longer (only until 10am) and have a bit more variety. It’s nice that you can sit outdoor though towards the quay. I will definitely come again if I have a chance.

Comfortable stay in the loft room. Good shower and nice bed. Nice rooftop pool and surprisingly good breakfast. Online check in does not improve speed at actual physical hotel check-in and breakfast (on weekends and public holidays) is until 10:30 not 9:30 like reception says. Order and Grab system by website not working as website says ‘not available at this time’ (wondering how long this status has bee there)

The check in process was not as smooth as expected, but not a deal breaker. Rooms are cosy and design of the hotel is chic, giving off a very modern feel. This is probably the last time i will consider a staycay here, the rate is not that pocket friendly given the size of room and location.

Had some small hiccups upon check in, but Duty Manager Faisal was very helpful and patience in assisting and able to resolve the issue. Breakfast was simple but delicious and sufficient.

The hotel is totally unresponsive, so I could not even complete my booking as I did not receive any answers to my inquiries prior to my stay which is the 1st red flag and a definitive no when it comes to making one comfortable to make a 10-night stay at their property. Will have to try a bit harder that just post a few nice pictures of the pool and the egg omelete making robot to attract future guests.

Stayed for 4 days in total. Overall had great design. Room was quite nice and not too small for the price. Facilities are good. Service is also great. For solo it is perfect. I would love to highlight the location. It is next to the river and I love walking so it was perfect for me. However if you do not like walking, it was some minutes from the nearest MRT station.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Beast and Butterfly restaurant that exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for a memorable dining experience. The exceptional service and attention to detail truly made this establishment stand out. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The decor was tastefully chosen, and the lighting was just right, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The restaurant had a perfect balance of elegance and comfort, making it an ideal setting for a special occasion or a romantic dinner. What truly set this dining experience apart was the exemplary service provided by ARMANDO. From the moment I was greeted by the host, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued as a guest. ARMAND and The waitstaff were attentive, knowledgeable, and well-trained, demonstrating an impressive level of professionalism. They were always available to answer any questions, provide recommendations, and ensure that every need was met promptly.

Amazing experience at this property. It first started when my flight got in early at 630am, and the hotel allowed me to check in very early (I was ready to pay) complimentary. Secondly, I booked a terrace room which lacked natural light - so They ended up upgrading me to a better room so that I could have more light. And lastly, I had a super wrinkly shirt hanging in the room. House keeping must’ve saw this, and proactively left an iron/ironing board in the room. Appreciate that attention to detail. Thanks for everything!

2 stars because of location. Arrived late...told them beforehand that I would be arriving late, still had to wait around 20 minutes to get checked in...at 0200AM. As for the room...it does meet the minimum standard for caging a dog ie., there has to be enough room to fully stand up and turn around. Yes, it was surprisingly small...the reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that the location within walking distance of Clark Quay...recommend the area, but NOT the hotel.

I would have given 0 stars if the option were available. Most inefficient queue system for check-in. Waited for more than 1 hour in line just for the manager to tell us that there was a glitch in the system when we reached the front of the queue. Wasted our time and the best resolution they could offer us was a free cancellation or to wait another hour (not guaranteed) without extension and at the same price. That’s just not right to me. Don’t bother wasting your time here.

I don’t think the hotel is good enough. I have prepaid 7 nights at the website and the fee is even more expensive than booking through travel agent website. The light is broken. The curtain is broken. The phone cannot use. It must have someone smoke in the room or another room and the air quality is terrible. All my clothes have terrible smoky smell. I complained that. No one replied. I need to go to the reception again to complain. Finally it canceled my reservation but having mentioned any refund for the fee difference as promised in the official website.

Had lunch at Beast and Butterflies. Lobster porridge: absolutely delicious. Abalone was well executed aka not very cooked. Broth tasted rich and flavourful. Garlic Calamari: batter was light and yet crunch was good. Just the right amount of springy. Went with the free flow cocktails. Sangria was well balanced and needless to say, i had more than I needed. Lastly, chef was incredibly accommodating when I asked for a kids meal. Even went above and beyond. Thanks to Naren for the attentive service. All smiles from this guy makes you feel like you are dining in a private kitchen.

Great service from Shiloh at Beast and butterflies! As for the room, screen mirroring of Internet onto TV is very poor in connectivity. I gave up as it would stop every few seconds. The room is nicely designed. Some minimalist features need some clarity: the bathroom shower/rainshower function. Ventilation could be improved. Carpets felt dusty. Thank you for the birthday gifts! Edit: service recovery was amazing. Cleaning staff came up, and the TV was repaired.

Firstly, I would like to commend the hotel for its facilities and the comfort of its rooms. The hotel has a modern and unique design, with an elegant and comfortable lobby. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was very comfortable, providing me with a good night's rest. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant and fitness center were outstanding, offering a variety of cuisines and facilities, making my time at the hotel enjoyable. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the attitude of the hotel staff. During my stay, I encountered some unfriendly and unprofessional employees. Their response time was slow, they didn't pay enough attention to the questions I had, and they lacked initiative. On the day of my checkout, which was on the morning of September 18th, I wanted to store my luggage within the hotel. The staff directed me to a luggage storage room but did not offer any assistance and even expected me to tie up the luggage myself. As a guest, I found this level of service unacceptable. Despite my disappointment with the attitude of the hotel staff, I still believe that this is an overall good hotel. I appreciate their facilities and the accommodation experience they provide, and I believe the hotel can improve its overall quality by enhancing the service attitude of its staff.

The hotel feels modern and new and check in/ check out was done so swiftly. Staffs were friendly and accommodating. However it’s the first hotel I stayed that requires me to request and collect my own ice bucket from the restaurant so that was a little off-putting for me. It was also quite hard to call the front desk to make any request. But other than that, the stay was amazing. Good location too, and they even allowed us for late check out! Would recommend.

Room was quite tiny. Cushions instead of pillows on the bed was interesting. Hotel is obviously trying to be something different and unique. Gets a few things right - breakfast was big, varied and tasty, but misses on some others - rooms seem unfinished (bare concrete slab walls) and are a bit more on the poky side than just cozy. All that said, if you're not planning on spending much time in your room and are travelling solo, this hotel is absolutely fine.

Stayed for 2 nights and M Social is one of the best staycation hotel for me and my partner. Location is great. Service is good and rooms are clean. I would like to thank the fantastic staff Reception Manager Anne, Daryl and Hazirah. Check in and check out was smooth and quick. Thanks guys!

It's a smart hotel is a good location. It was quite and easy to get to and from. The staff let the hotel down, especially the reception team. They were not very helpful, one half of my room had not been cleaned and despite talking to the reception staff twice, this was not resolved. I was asked how may stay was when i checked out, i mentioned it wasn't great and that i had some issues, but they didn't want to know. It's almost as if they don't care as it's a very busy place. I've attached a picture of the dust that was covering one part of the room. It was like that for the 3 nights i stayed there. It's a shame, however i will not be going back. It doesn't take much to show some interest.

The room is small but designed well in terms of space optimization (considering the price), location is good as it’s in the commercial zone. However, in-hotel service is limited as they offer quite a low price compared to other hotels in the same area; also, you are most likely to get frustrated if you need to call the hotel to seek hotel staff’s help when you are outside. We had poor experience calling the hotel multiple times and being kept on the calls waiting without anyone answering - the calls got hung up eventually - not sure if it’s the shortage of manpower or the negligence of customer calling.

The hotel is very chic, well taken care of, good location close to Clark Quay. Hotel rooms are very nice, we got a suite with the really tall ceiling, which gave the relatively small room lots of "air". The bathrooms are nice, the only gripe I have is the basin drain was very very very slow to drain, I thought it was blocked at one stage.

I have had 3 different dinners so far in Beast & Butterflies, each time the taste has been fabulous, that includes mains & desserts. Presentation of food is awesome as well. Having stayed at M Social in 2022, I knew the food should be good; this time I was not disappointed as the standard is the same as before. Also, their buffet breakfast was excellent last year as I’m sure it is now, this time I am staying in a different hotel. In my opinion it is good value for money. All the meals I had were in the bar area and not inside the restaurant. As you can see, I have happily returned for the food as well as the good atmosphere. Thanks to the server Shiloh. Also, a particular thank you to Manager Cariza for her help and friendly personality, she deserves a raise in salary!😊

During my recent stay at M Social Singapore, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a Loft Premier room, an experience that exceeded my expectations. The hotel's modern and vibrant atmosphere set the stage for a memorable visit. The loft-style layout of my room provided a spacious and contemporary living space, complemented by a meticulous level of cleanliness in both the bed and bathroom. M Social Singapore seamlessly combines modernity, cleanliness, and excellent service, making it a highly recommended choice for those seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay in the heart of Singapore.
