The agoda score rating at the time of writing (Nov 2022) 7/10 is not a fair representation of this hostel. The photos on Agoda nor on this google business listing are also not an accurate representation. I have added my photos and videos so that you are not surprised if you choose to book. Be wise, there is a no refund policy! The dorm room is most fairly described as a storage room for excess luggage with bunk beds. I paid 4 months in advance for 4 nights stay but after seeing the hostel today I chose to check out without staying even one night. The owner is not reasonable and the no-refund policy is an insult. Feeling cheated by this business and ultimately, Agoda. the owner is aware of the untidy, cluttered and smelly condition of the hostel but will threaten to ban you if you challenge the living standards of this hostel. Very unpleasant conversation that we could not resolve in a positive way. Anyone thinking about booking please do so at your own risk.

Warning - Do not stay here! It doesn’t look like the pictures. There are Indian men permanently staying in the dorm rooms and take up all the space. There is clutter everywhere, it stinks and it’s not clean. Owner is very unfriendly and unreasonable. Do yourself a favour and stay far away from this place.

The rooms stink. They are not clean. I requested cleaning and room smelled like smoke. Bathrooms were gross and bugs were everywhere! ! The door did not seem secure and was not evened out so bugs got in easily.

This hotel is totally unacceptable, yes 30$ is ok cheap in expensive singapore but i wouldn't even pay to stay here again. first of all, the room (or any other room in the hostel) did not look like any of the pictures on the net, there are boxes of things and suitcases everywhere, the suitcases in the hotel certainly did not belong only to those who lived there, as the owner tried to tell us, as there were more than 60 suitcases and loads of bags and boxes, and there were no more than 20 beds. secondly, there were several people who seemed to be living in the room and it was very messy and discussing. third of all, everything in the hotel was extremely dirty, there were hairs everywhere both in the bed and a lot in the bathroom, there was mold on all the ceilings and sinks in the bathroom, the kitchen was dirty and looked like something that had never been cleaned, and the sheets had not been washed as there were many stains on them. we have been traveling for a good 2 months now and we have lived in many different places in very different conditions, but this is still the worst we have ever tried. we were supposed to sleep there for 2 nights but ended up packing our bags and leaving after one night. In addition to the mess, the many people who seem to live there permanently and the non-existent cleaning, it was also very hot in the hostel with only a fan to cool us down and the whole hostel smelled really bad. definitely our worst experience on the so far 2 months of traveling, we cannot recommend this place.

(Translated by Google) The worst experience of my life. Maybe those who are lucky to have a bed in front of the air conditioners will be able to evaluate differently, but personally I received the bed at the end of the room where not even an air conditioning wire is received. The room contains twenty places to sleep, and uses two 1.5kw splitter wall-mounted air conditioners each. Usually the person who manages the place keeps only one air conditioner switched on 24 hours a day (and he is not expected to know even at what temperature) and occasionally turns on the second (always without knowing at what temperature). Honestly, those who find the air conditioners in front of the bed will feel cold as well, but I assure you that whoever gets the place at the back is like having a sauna (and I'm not exaggerating). Bathrooms are clean the bare minimum. Showers and toilets both very narrow. For $ 10 more you can definitely find something better and much more decent. Not recommended even if it was offered for free.

In my opinion this place deserves zero star.kk the owner of vintage is a fraud man.he did not return my august payment and put false allegations on me.its my humble request as I want to make everyone aware of this fraud man.he is a thief.his name is Keith goh.he misuses his power because he feels he is very powerful.a flop batman.he and his assistant Simran both create false evidence and they threatened me to check out.both are involved in this racket.i was ok to check out provided he give me the advance payment that I made in July for August month.but he did not return my money back.kk and his assistant simran created false evidences and false complaints so that I don't get my money back.i paid 400 dollars for the month of august.also the remaining amount of July from 26th to 31st hasn't been paid.i paid 500 dollars every month to this cheat man.

We travelled as a couple so we took the double capsule. We got a discount which we are truly happy for because we would not pay full price for this. The sheets were dirty so we used our sleeping bags. House rules are not being respected at all. People were very loud in the night and early in the morning. They have a self launched laundry service which was the worst I ever tried. We had to put coins in every 15 mins because it wouldn't take all the coins at once and you are obliged to use both washing machine and dryer minimum of 60mins each. And they block the doors so you really can't open it earlier. The staff is not really kind and not even introducing themselves. We arrived late at night so they put our keys and some information in a letterbox and we let ourselves in. The next morning some random lady came and asked us to send pictures of our passports without any "Hello, I am...". Showers and toilets are small and incredibly hot. Same for kitchen.

Vintage Inn Singapore is a capsule hotel and its recommended for budget travellers. We had a decent stay and we were provided with breakfast (Toast & Variety of Jams). Our floor had a common dressing room and we had individual locker facility. The staff were polite and they were helpful. You can buy attractions tickets here at a discounted price. AC is good enough but rest rooms are very small and no AC in kitchen. Since its a budget hotel, don't expect too much. Its a good hotel for short stay.

Complete disregard for customers! My girlfriend and I stayed at Vintage Inn during early November. While Singapore is a beautiful city this rubbish hostel spoiled our experience. To put it briefly, once you’ve handed over the money your value is mute to this establishment. I imagine they have practically zero repeat customers. No wondered they don’t offer refunds. Positives: Close to MRT station. Negatives: Extra payment needed for towels. Ants crawling all over cutlery, plates and cups at the sink. Room is extremely hot even with AC. Hotel staff is rude and unwelcoming. Nothing is done when other guests are loud during the early morning/ late night. Staff insist “it is your problem not ours”. Floors are soaking wet every morning. Front door is left unsecured (unlocked and unguarded) meaning anyone can walk in undetected. Shower temperature works sporadically (shower head is also broken). It appears an Indian man who snores extremely loud permanently resides here. Images and message on their website is so misleading it’s laughable. Hygiene is not held in high regard either.

The location is excellent. It takes only 5 minutes walking to and from the Little India MRT station. The hostel itself is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a shophouse next to The Banana Leaf Indian restaurant. As for the facilities, it provides complete basic services for a budget-concerned traveler such as a capsule bed, a shared washroom, hairdryer, iron, a cabinet for baggage below the capsule bed, Wi-Fi, TV, fridge, microwave, toaster, washing machine (chargeable) and a simple breakfast consisting of bread and jams. However, towel is not provided. So, don't forget to bring your own towel. All the facilities are in good condition and the mattress is comfortable to sleep on. Overall, I feel satisfied with everything in the hostel except for the bedsheet and the bedcover. They could have been cleaner. They looked worn out and were supposed to smell fresh when I just arrived but they didn't. Perhaps they didn't use enough detergent when washing their linens. I stayed there for 4 nights but the staff didn't offer to change the bedsheet even once. Had the linens been cleaner and fresher, I would give 5 stars.

Business trip to SG Awesome locality just a min walk from Little India Mrt, Closes to 24 hrs Mustafa Shopping Centre, very clean boutique hostel, staff very professional... Value for Money... we though the smell will be very bad as this is located at Little India (india smell, hahahaaaa)& from previous reviews but to our surprise when we enter the door entrance, the whole place scent was very fruity and pleasant. We will come back again. We enjoyed our stay!

Didn't stay in Singapore long enough to rate the location. The beds and service was decent enough, but it was Hard to sleep in the dorms as People were on their phones (using speaker!) almost constantly. The breakfast was probably the worst i have ever had - White toast with a line to toast it, and a very narrow selection of spreads. The only available coffee was some awful 3-in-1 solution which i threw out after the first sip. 10/10 if you want some suger-water with a hint of Milk, but do not call this coffee.

This hostel is really near the Little India MRT Station. You just have to walk around 2 minutes from that station. The staffs are friendly and helpful! The ambience is clean and comfort. Seems like this hostel try to make you "feels like home" tho' not literally your home. Enjoy then :)

For the price that I paid, this inn is quite ok. it's in the little india area. It's near an mrt station. It's a cubicle type of lodging, thus, no rooms but enclosed beds. The enclosed beds are comfortable. It has power outlets to charge your phones. They also offer decent breakfast. Just enough to get you through in the morning

First of all that you have to understand that you are staying in a Guesthouse Dorm / Hostel Dorm, you have to understand that its not a full service hotel. I stayed here 4 days, staffs are nice and patient to me, as i am bit nagging and pushy sometimes. I am a chubby dude, i complained that i cant take the higher bed, and they fix it, they changed my bed to the lowerside bed. Staff is Straight forward and sometimes comes at you every morning and checking up on how are you doing. There are few things that i would criticize, 1. PLEASE MAKE UP OUR BED WHEN WE GO OUT. And please change to a new bedsheet. 2. Please mop the floor.. its kinda slippery and greasy. 3. Need more variation on the breakfast... like a rice or dosa masala would be nice. I love staying here because its near to MRT, near to Mustaffa and ABC Bargain Center. Lots of foods around. But lack of 24/7 minimarket

Lovely hostel but unfortunately has a weird smell, i think i saw some urinal scents tubs in some of the corners of the rooms. Bit weird. But lovely staff and building. The breakfast is only toast, and you make it yourself. Pretty basic. Not much choice.

overall cleanliness is very good, environment is quiet so its good for rest and sleep. Check in and out process is easy. The bed for double is more than enough for 2 people. The only cons is that the toilet is too small and cramped. For muslim women, its hard to take wudhu and showering. Its pretty hard when u got upper bunk bed but its doesn't really matter. Other than that its okay. Only 1-2 minutes to nearest mrt. The street is safe looking.

Everything is to expensive in Singapore, so for the money, can't expect to much more. Personally this was my first stay at a hostel, and my last. As far as it goes, more privacy than anything else for the price.

Value for money, convenient and pretty good location as well. If you have heavy luggage be prepared to carry to the first or 2nd floor. No lift. Common toilets are pretty much neat and tidy. Got a lounge with in-house wifi.

Place is not as good as it used to be before being bought over by RedDoorz. Same like before; still peaceful and quiet, and breakfast is still free and provided, but now almost everything else sucks. The shower stalls aren't properly maintained and are in desperate need of an update (for some reason, other parts of the bathrooms are in better-ish condition). Some of the staff members are overworked and stressed out. And last but not least, the ROOM. Jesus Christ, the room I was put in almost looked like a slum. The computers that used to be on the table are now replaced with people's bags placed all over it, both on top and under. The capsule weren''t completely dust-free and still had bits of stuff on them by the time I checked in (intentionally mentioned more than one capsules because I stayed in both: one on top for one night and the bottom one the next night due to the top one being hot). And lastly, it SMELLED. The smell of dirty socks and strong body odor greeted me every single time I opened the door and walked in. Had to wear a face mask whenever I'm inside and before going to sleep. They were better a couple years ago, but now...
