Great place to stay if you are a tourist in Singapore. Their lobby is clean and smells good, and front desk people are really helpful to your needs. Their rooms are well maintained and comfortable for a good night’s rest after strolling and going to must see places. There are multiple elevators so you won’t have to wait much to go to your floor. Location is perfect, there are food shops and convenient stores nearby so getting food while prepping for your day’s activities is very easy. It sits just beside Exit A of Bencoolen station as well so you won’t have to walk far to get to the metro.

I had a really good time at this hotel for 5 days. The people who work there are very nice and always ready to help. One thing that was great is that they let us check in early at 9 am, even though the normal check-in time is 2 pm. Also while checking out they provided one hour extra. The hotel is very clean, especially the bathrooms. They made sure everything was spotless. One thing I really liked is that whenever I asked for water, they gave it to me right away. It's the small things that made my stay so comfortable. Plus, the hotel is in a great location. It's very easy to get around because it's close to both the metro and bus stops. In a nutshell, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The people who work there are friendly, everything is very clean, and they take good care of you. It's a great place to stay when you're away from home.

Pleasant and wonderful experience. The room was small, there is no place for desk and chair but clean and ok. Electric plug point and light switches are not convenient. The amenities were great, well maintained, good service and quick response. Overall, I had a great experience

This was an excellent hotel for the price! You will be hard-pressed to find anything of this quality at this price in this area of Singapore. It is very modern, clean, well-lit, the reception is there 24/7, check-in is quick and free of any hassle, the breakfast in the building next door is quite good (albeit a little busy), the pool is spacious and quite secluded, and so much more. Even though the rooms are small, it all worked out in the end. The bathroom and shower is quite nice, AC worked well (however it would turn off when you left the room - it wouldn’t take too long to cool back down though, refrigerator worked well, and there were a decent amount of wall outlets (that worked with international plugs). East short walking distance to the bus stop, train station, many restaurants and vending machines, and bicycles you can rent. You even have a secluded area behind the hotel off the main road where taxis can easily pull up and pick up/drop off. Not much too complain about. Great work, V Hotel team!

Excellent location. The room is very small, but would have been okay if not for the smell in the toilet. Not sure which part of the room is not soundproof, but you can hear noises from other rooms. Hotel amenities are not replenished everyday, which is unexpected.

Its on the best Location, but vegetarian food is not available, hotel don't have a restaurant of its own, they send us to resturant beside the hotel for breakfast, that is not good at all. We suffered a lot as we are vegetarian. If anyone going to Singapore from India looking for vegetarian food please look for the food option first because it clearly matters. Otherwise look hotel in Little India. So that good vegetarian food is available only on little India.

"if you give us a 5-star hotel on Google, we will let you have early check-in", said by the reception staff. The hotel was okay. Location was great and right on top of the Bencoolen station. However, the room was normal and cleanliness was only okay. Price was a bit expensive. It was okay for a night stay overall.

So happy with my experience here. Not one to normally write a review but they were that good I felt I had too. Super central, or you can get anywhere pretty fast with the train station underneath the hotel. I arrived a little early and they even let me check in early with no fees because the room was free. Such friendly staff I can’t recommend highly enough.

This is our first stay at this hotel in Singapore. We had been staying at another hotel on the same street. I am glad that I try this hotel. The room is small but it is clean and tidy with a spacious bathroom. We have everything we need. The check in was fast and the staff is friendly. We love the location. We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed in a Premier Queen room in Oct22. Plus points: -Nice clean room -Everything worked in the room -Reception staff were polite and friendly. For example, I asked for two wine glasses and these were provided with no issues. -Good location for the MRT and food courts -Swimming pool was a good size to do lengths in. -Premier Queen room is 16m2 in size. You can always have more space, but for two people it was adequate. -No noise from the road. Minus point -This hotel is not for those travelling on a budget. That said, hotels, in general, are not cheap in Singapore! Would I stay here again? Yes, absolutely, but I will continue in my impossible search to find a good hotel at a reasonable price in Singapore.

I stayed here from 13-16 Aug. Although the room was small, it was comfortable and we really enjoyed the stay. Our triple room had an upper loft. Interesting. Location is fantastic, just right beside Bencoolen mrt station. What really makes this hotel an excellent stay to me is the people who work here. I'm very impressed with the service. Everyone is genuinely helpful and friendly. A gem in the middle of a concrete city. Thank you to all the staff who had served us during our stay.

Kind and efficient staff, excellent location, strong hot water pressure and reliable aircon. Small rooms but workable. The rooms smell a bit musty, the curtains and windows could use some cleaning attention. Still 5 stars for how easy everything was, it’s hard to find reasonable accommodations in Singapore and I feel like we made the right choice staying here. Book directly on their website for best service.

V Hotel Bencoolen was a great place to stay. It is located right next to a subway station, but in general I was able to walk to where I wanted to go. Coach buses for travel to Malaysia are nearby as well. In the area are also malls and lots of restaurants. Reception is available around the clock and they were always very nice and accommodating. The room itself (a superior queen) was clean and well-maintained but small and a little dull. It's hard to imagine two people fitting comfortably. One annoying point was that outlets were only at the desk, so I couldn't keep my phone on the nightstand while charging. I had the buffet breakfast at the restaurant one day; it was alright, I probably wouldn't pay the price for it again as there are better nearby.

One of the most convenient spots to be in Singapore. It's near a lot of good places such as National Museum to Orchard Road to Bugis Center. It's also strategically placed within walking distance to so many restaurants, and two subway stations. If you need a reasonably priced hotel where you can simply dump your things and catch some quick sleep while you spend majority of your day gallivanting around Singapore, this hotel can be adequate enough for you.

The hotel is situated in front of Bencoolen Hotel. It is on exit B of the metro station. If you are travelling from Airport you can take the downtown line. The Rooms are very very small even for Singapore standards. The IBIS on Bencoolen has bigger rooms than this. The bathroom is smaller and I hit on everything when in there. It has basic amenities like coffee maker and beds are soft. The house keeping and reception staff are very welcoming and supportive.

Rooms were kind of small as a tall adult person, however, the small space was well maximized from the beds, tables, TVs, etc. The services were excellent as well, just one call, they'll take care of your concerns. The location is extremely convinient, just few steps out of the hotel, you'll arrive at Bencoolen MRT station. Overall, highly recommend this hotel for its price.

A hotel which is given 4 star, deserve 2 star at max. Hotel room size are like match box. 10'x10' room size. When we asked for bigger room, even bigger was 10'x12' only. Me & my wife stayed for 6 days, their room service includes changing bed sheet and towels, they neither clean the slab nor any items like kettle, cups, intercom on the slab. We had made coffee, and left spoon in cup. It was constant as it is for 4 days, they didn't clean any cup's at all. Location of hotel is good, close to metro station, close to China town, little India. (1 km away). Breakfast : Being a vegetarian, very disappointing. Veg noodles they had one day, it taste very bad(2/5). Only one fruit in a day during buffet, either musk melon or water melon. Or else you can have bead toast and butter and juice. Rest all is non veg item. Steam rice(cooked in different oil) smell and taste not according to Indian style. Boiled kidney beans had no spices (not even salt in it.) Overall we were not happy with the hotel. Overall rating 2/5.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days starting 28th September. We chose the premier room and I think it was the best decision ever. The staff was kind enough to offer early check in. The room was neat and tidy and was cleaned everyday. The electrical sockets were travel friendly and all the basic amenities such as toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and room slippers were provided. This hotel’s location is the best part about it. There is a MRT station located right next to it and two bus stops catering to different routes at 200m walking distance. Multiple food joints at easily walkable distance. Definitely recommended for a stay during your next Singapore trip.

Have stayed here a few times and I feel it’s the best in terms of location. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and the MRT just next door. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be that the shower didn’t have a curtain to prevent the water from spraying all over the floor.

My friends and I stayed at the hotel for 2D1N and we booked the Studio room for our stay there. We arrived around 10 minutes earlier than our indicated arrival time and we were greeted by the friendly reception staff. The check-in process was fast and easy, and we were very happy with the room assigned. The room was clean and big, exact to the pictures/videos online. My only gripe was that there was a lingering cigarette smell in the shower but it did not affect our stay there. We were able to check out late as well and overall it was a really good stay.

Rooms were a bit cramped but livable. The service was great but sometimes unreliable - we went out late so we placed a DND tag outside the door. We switched it to Make Up Room around 12nn and asked the front desk to have the room cleaned. When we got back around 10pm, the room wasn't cleaned. We just called the reception for help with trash collection instead of a full room cleanup. The bathroom also has a strange leak once the tank of the toilet gets full. A few ounces of water pools between the toilet bowl and the shower glass enclosure. This was reported to the front desk, but wasn't acted upon. No worries though as it's not a deal breaker. We can live with minor inconveniences. Location is excellent as it is right beside the Downtown (Blue) line's Bencoolen Station and it's just a few meters away from the Circle (Yellow) line's Bras Basah station.

This is a hotel for business trips. Not for family or tourists. Location is just fine though the rooms are too too small. I'll not recommend this for Indians. Better to stay around little India for convenient food and connectivity. The bfast is arranged with restaurant next door. Options are limited and repeated. Hotel is also very helpful, staff is fine but not worth the money.

Went earlier today (3rd October 2021, Sunday) for a staycation celebrating my 3rd anniversary with husband, it was phenomenal! Checked in early at 10am with a free upgrade to their studio/loft room as an anniversary gift! The staffs there were also very friendly, helpful & accomodating. I really would like to thank the staffs for their hardwork & appreciate each and everyone of them working on that particular day earlier. My room was just beside the swimming pool which adds better convenience for us and not to mention, the cleanliness of both pool & room were spectacular! Overall i really love it here, best hotel ever! I would highly recommend and will be back next month! 🥰❤️❤️❤️

It was a cheap hotel . For the price I paid it deserves at least a 3 star. The people working there are not too friendly. They seem to entertain richer looking folks. The rooms were lovable but had a stench.

A nice place to stay being located near Bugis junction. MRT is just a few meters away. Lots of places to eat from and coffee shops to hang around with. The staff are so friendly and helpful and Mr. Henry Phua gave an extra care for our needs. The rooms maybe small but just cozy

We have a great stay at V Hotel Bencoolen. Henry and the rest of the staff at reception are fabulous, from arrival and passing through during the day and night he is always greeted us with a smile. He even recommended us nearby food court what are nice to order. Room service staff are also very lovely and did an absolutely excellent job cleaning. The hotel location is excellent with MRT nearby just a few steps from the hotel and can get you where you need to go with ease. There is also a pick up area behind the hotel for a hassle free taxi or Grab collection point. Room is small but worth the stay for the location.

It's a great location with the downtown line entrance right outside, you can get to the airport with just one change at the end of the downtown line. Super convenient. The room is generally pretty clean, the bathroom could have been cleaner. We had an issue with the first bathroom where there's a crack in the wall and gunk just keeps coming out while we're showering. We asked for a room change and they complied without issues. The new room's bathroom was much cleaner. On the checkout day, they called our room twice in the span of 5 minutes asking if we were checking out. Kinda annoyed by that as there was still about 45 minutes before the checkout time. The room is also not soundproofed, you can clearly hear everyone from the hallway, vice versa. Besides that, one of the cheaper options within the city, overall not too bad.

We stayed in the loft type room for 3 days and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and the room was kept clean and full of the needed amenities. We already expected a small room since it is Singapore after all but we had just enough space for 3 pax. Would highly reco this place for other travellers. Oh and the location is very convenient right next to a train station and near the bus stop.

(Superior twin room w/ breakfast) Rooms are a bit small, but has all the basic ameneties. Swimming pool is nice so went for a swim. Breakfast buffet was simple but decent. Would not recommend for family looking to enjoy a spacious room, but great as a rest stop to explore the surrounding areas.

Rooms were fine. Location really good. But the staff wasn't very helpful when we asked them for assistance with the planning of our trip north to Malaysia. A bit of help from someone local would have been nice

I would rate this hotel a 3 stars just for their small rooms. I booked a premier room for 7 nights and the price was huge. Paid close to sgd 1300 for the entire stay but it was absolutely not worth it. Their breakfast spread lacks any vegetarian options, so do not book breakfast if you are an Indian or vegetarian. Their location was great. With the mrt just next to the hotel building it feels great when you return after a long day. The people at the front desk were so helpful. The rooms were cleaned everyday. I was given water whenever I asked for. Not a great view from the room but it was good enough. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are packing a lot of things or travelling with kids.

Rooms extremely small. Hotel very noisy as we could hear everybody in the corridor and we were woke up around 8h every morning... The water in the swimming pool was too cold. The wifi was extremely slow. Staff was kind, but not anything to make us feel that we were welcome. The positive was the cleanes of the rooms and location. (Close to metro) Anyway it was unfortunately the kind of hotel I regretted to book.

Great experience over the weekend from 13 Aug to 15 Aug. Super helpful, super friendly. Mr Aden was on duty that night of check in. Ensured I had a car park lot tt night when I drove back. Room was clean, excellent service n friendliness. Enjoyed my stay there.

Rooms are tiny, even by Singapore standards. No space even to open a suitcase unless you do it on the bed. Desk is so small it’s completely useless. Shower had a foul smell coming from the drainage. Toilet also very small. The soundproofing is terrible, can hear people in the corridor as if they’re in the room so was continuously woken up. Can also hear people in other rooms through the walls. Location is fine next to MRT stop and few restaurants nearby. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again, very overpriced, there are much better options.

We really had a great time staying here. We stayed here before and after our cruise. The hotel is very accessible to bus stops and MRT Stations. You won’t get hungry also since there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Mr. Henry is very accommodating and fun. We had fun especially because of him. He took care of us even if we stayed for 2 nights only. We booked 6 rooms and since we have a late night flight, he let us extend our time on 2 of our rooms. We are very grateful for that. I highly recommend this place and when I go back to Singapore, I will surely book this hotel again. Thank you V Hotel Bencoolen!

Early check in is a major deal here, we are more than happy for that. Only, when you ordered the room with breakfast, please make sure you are ordering the room for 2 person if you're not alone or else you'll get only 1 breakfast. Not like any common hotels where you book 1 room and you will get 2 breakfast coupons directly. The location is the second best thing, sitting right next to the exit of Bencoolen MRT STATION.

MRT station underneath the hotel is perfect! Bus stops nearby too! Such a great hotel in terms of transit accessibility. Rooms are kinda small though, but enough if it’s really just a place to sleep, because the rest of the day you’re out and about. Good service: helpful staff, with diligent room cleaning daily (replenish water bottles, fresh towels, etc). Room wifi broke down on our last night but was also resolved.

Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Receptionist are all good and friendly, but i am very disappointed with your housekeeping staff that is very rude when sending items to our room. The small one that is always playing with her phone, where hijab, and wear slippers. Is she actually working or not? Cuz i dont think she is suitable at this hospitality. Everyone is working, why she can't respect our tiredness too after a long day of working. We always smiled at her but she never give any nice response but to ignore us. I hope this review could give her some special advices. Thank you

I will never stay at this hotel ever again. only good thing about this hotel is the location but still not able to justify the price. can deal with the small room size but cannot deal with the smelly bedsheet. it's a lottery everyday on what type of smell i would get. sometimes they forgot to empty the trash bins. very thin wall, can hear the next room guests talking throughout the night. called front desk so many times to complain and they did not do anything about it.

All of the staffs were very kind and helpful! They cleaned and tidied my room as I asked, filled bottles of water and tea bags. Stations nearby. Excellent!

One of the worst hotels ever seen, We came from Malaysia to Singapore for visit, there is a lot of difference between Singapore and Malaysia, too much commercial and service also not good. They haven't even provided basic amenities in the room. It's showing as 4-start on google but it looks like a less than a 3-star hotel.

I stay 3D 2N, booking included breakfast all night. The first morning, the staffs said my booking isn’t included breakfast. I show my room number, they still not giving me the breakfast. Fortunately, toast box is nearby. So i take my breakfast there. And i complain to my travel agent, and the next morning the different staff give me the breakfast. How come? It’s too late since yesterday. No compensation to replace my missing breakfast. However, these things what i like : - strategic location - clean room - clean bathroom

I met a very heartless person on duty. My godma needed to use a toilet. And the staff at the counter said we are not their hotel staff / guests so told us to use public toilet instead. An old lady has to struggle to look for a toilet when he can show a bit of kindness by letting her use. Don't u even know that old folks have weak bladder? When the hotel condone such behaviour I doubt that we will get good services there

I stayed for a month with my parents at the hotel. The stay was great with the staff being quite helpful. The location of the hotel in downtown is a major positive. Its well situated close to shopping areas of Orchard road and Bugis. Marina bay and little India are also extremely close.

Great location, just a 20 second walk from Bencoolen MRT Station. Lovely rooms with great views. Pool open until 10pm, perfect for when you want a dip after being out in the humidity and heat all day! Very helpful staff who were extremely kind by letting us have our room a little longer free of charge when our flight to Australia was delayed until 2am!

If you want to stay in affordable hotel with good location, you can choose this hotel. Room was small and only for 1 person, breakfast was available with almost same menu everyday. Location was quite strategic and hotel staffs were very helpful. So conclusion, if you don't need to spend so much time in the hotel, then you can choose this one.

I spent couple nights in this hotel while I was traveling for work. Hotel is located in a convenient place right on top of the MRT station in Bencoolen. Rooms were comfortable, food was delicious and staff was friendly. They have a pool, I regret not having to explore that.

Staycation here was amazing. Staff was extremely helpful. Would come back again for another stay and highly recommended if you are finding a cozy place for staycay that is easily accessible via Downtown line.

V Hotel is perfect for any tourists staying in Singapore. It is conveniently located seconds away from the MRT entrance and a short walking distance to many nearby attractions including Clarke Quay and Fort Canning Park. The staff went above an beyond in accommodating of our party’s needs. Our group had booked a room change during our stay due to a change in party size however, as a courtesy, they allowed us to keep our original, upgraded room, free of charge. I would recommend this hotel to any tourists who don’t mind a smaller room that does not compromise in quality or amenities.

Almost every weekend spending my time here for a cozy and relax staycay and my work time. I like this hotel with their strategic location with just mrt beside and variety foods around. Definitely, friendly staff and good service is a vital reason for me to choose here.

We have stayed here twice in the last 3 months. Great location just a few metres from Bencoolen MRT. (Just make sure you choose the right exit by looking at the map on the way out). Book on their own website to get a 3pm check out. Second stay was quite a lot more expensive than first. Assume June is holiday season? I wouldnt pay $400 for 2 nights again. But if it's out of season it's worth staying for a cheaper rate. The price reflects the room. Most 'budget' Singapore hotels are quite tiny! If you have lots of luggage, it is not ideal. Bed is comfy enough. Requested a street view which we got. Everything is a little worn and feels like it needs a good scrub. The first time we stayed we had a room that smelt of smoke so quickly got moved. Both rooms had terrible air conditioning controllers, which you really had to keep pressing hard to get to work. The front glass door at reception is always smeared with finger and hand prints everywhere, which I noticed every time I came and went and sets the standard of the hotel room cleanliness. Bathroom had marks all on the sink, toilet handle, shower door and wall. Extractor didn't work. Both times we stayed the shower floors were slimey when wet, indicating they aren't cleaned properly, which was gross. Windows could do with sheer curtains so you can look at the view.

Pretty pricey for the size of the room. We've had smaller hotel rooms, but for two nights it was fine. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The bathroom was very awkward to use due to the floor layout. And, thru the plumbing and ventilation we could clearly hear other guests. The pool is too small to swim laps.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff were very helpful and accomodating (thumbs up to them). It's beside the Bencoolen MRT and walking distance to Fortune Centre where you can buy variety of food. Very convenient.

Room is clean and tidy. It was small but the layout was manageable. The bathroom was spacious. It comes with big bottles of shampoo/conditioner and body soap, attached to the shower wall. The train under the hotel was very convenient and there’s several bus stops close to the area. There’s a money changer beside the hotel but the rates are better in Lucky Plaza (along orchard). There’s a convenience store (Cheers) best the hotel as well. It’s very small but there’s a 711 just 2 minutes (walking) away too which is bigger. The breakfast included was in the cafe next door. The food was not that great so I wouldn’t recommend adding it on top of your stay. The front desk was accommodating to our requests. I would recommend staying here!
