Amazing and affordable place. — Perfect location too! The rooftop, we got a nice of the Buddha Tooth relic temple.. near from Chinatown— Little India, I mean what can we ask for more! Recommend this place. Good for backpackers and solo travelers

A hassle self-checking in. One of the rooms we stayed has no curtain! Quite clean rooms though. Shared bathrooms (ladies and gents are separated). Simple jam, bread, 3-in-1 coffee breakfast. And a reminder, you've got to have enough stamina to climb 3 (or 4) floors up to reach your rooms. Price, of course, are one of the main key reasons to why people go for it.

I stayed in a 3-bed room for 8 nights. Excellent value for money. Location is fantastic. Toilet is modern, has a rain shower function, and is cleaned regularly. Beds are clean and comfy enough, and the aircon is quiet and cool. My biggest gripe - as with many others who have stayed here - is the lack of a proper common space. The only space to chill is at a small corner of the lobby with two worn out sofas and a tiny coffee table. Also, the rooftop terrace is forgettable - the washing machine and dryer is there (it will set you back $12. I recommend the nearby laundromat EasyWash, about 5 mins walk) and small pantry area.

Here is good, just u have to climb three or four floor stairs without lift. Room is clean, I like they provide us free sim card and there is 6 dollars inside can call. Comfortable room, shower place I feel not really clean, I rate toilet 6/10 cleanliness. The luggage bag I feel is not safe, because the staff gave me wrong bag twice without verify my luggage tag that with a code. I don't like here don't have living space, you only have a big space at open roof top, where it is super hot most of the time unless evening and early morning. They did provide milo drinks for free, but didn't manage well. The pantry was not completely equip and it is little bit dirty.

It's a little bit rough and not quite as upmarket as the photos indicated, but for the price and location it's a solid four stars, maybe a five. There is a cool rooftop area you can use, it has a kitchenette, but no smoking allowed unfortunately. The shared bathrooms are modern and very clean. If you are on a budget with a family of four, like I was, you'll be more than fine here.

Very good location, nice and modern showers, alright clean small dorms offering a bit of privacy (no windows and humidity on the walls though). BUT, the atmosphere is really not what you expect from a hostel. We were not looking for a party hostel, but there is no contact at all, simply due to the fact that there is no common area where you can sit, talk to people or enjoy a drink... The only thing you get are two seats with computers in he tiny reception room. There is a rooftop, but he only thing you will find there is a small table and a coffee machine. Other problem: Our booking included breakfast, but as there is no restaurant there, you have to go 200 meters further to the other 5footway hostel.. which would be nice to know before booking.. Breakfast was very basic (toasts with peanut butter and jam, and coffee machine) but no complain about that. Alright place to spend one night, as it's really conveniently located, but don't go there if you plan to meet people or if you want to chill a bit in the hostel.

Love the self-check in and check out process! The terrace has a great view of the neighboring districts. Would be hard to stay here if you have luggage with you as there's no elevator. You have to drag it up 3 flights of stairs.

An economical choice for travellers. I just stayed one night in a mixed dormitory room with three beds. My bed was in a high place and if you come late and other beds are already taken, you should sleep on that bed. That's not bad but you have to climb the stairs everytime you need to arrive to your bed. It was clean enough and there was a locker too which you can open using the smart card given by the receptionist. They also provide a handy with limitless internet access and you can even use that outside the hostel to find your way or make calls. That's a perfect service especially for backpackers. However, the sound insulation is really bad and I woke up a few times a night due to the disturbing sound of doors (coming from other rooms). And also you will feel the bas odour inside rooms when you just entered. But after a while it either fades away or you just get used to :) For breakfast you need to walk few meters away to the chinatown2 project but that was not a problem for me. You can also enjoy the terrace and can find 24-hour free drinks there. Another disadvantage is that the reception does not work for 24 hours and if you need some help you should go to chinatown2 project again. For travelers with heavy luggage it may also be hard to climb all those stairs to arrive in this hostel which is actually on the third floor of that building. Toilets and bathrooms are clean enough. In short, it is a nice place to stay despite some negative points.

Decent price for Singapore but everything here is over priced. We've stayed in much nicer places in Asia for much less. The location in Chinatown was good between two subway stations. There is no staff on at night so when we had to check out early morning for our flight we had to call into it's sister hostel to get our deposit back. Staff also informed us the only way to Kuala Lumpur was by bus, which isn't the case

Tiny rooms, but clean and brilliant location. Pity the rooms weren’t serviced daily, but the facilities are fine. No shared kitchen, fridge or hangout spaces, which surprised me for a hostel. We had a quad lift, and the lift beds had no rails and were very high. We didn’t feel safe having the kids sleep up there.

Nice place and tidy. But the bedroom so smelly and it is very annoying. Overall are good. they have 3 bath rooms and 2 toilets each floor. The location is very strategic and very near with Chinatown ❤️

I dont know how to describe it, but it just that great for me and my mom. May I know the brand of the cereal you gave us every morning? Hahaha, my mom ask me

Clean, but noisy. I can clearly hear other rooms chit chat till midnight. There is no "quiet zone" or "quiet time" sign. If you need quiet place to stay, better go on other hostel. Self service check in.

The location is great. It takes just 5 minutes to go to China town, MRT, Buddha Tooth pagoda and 7eleven is opposite. The hotel is bright and clean.Room is bigger than we imaged. Great place to stay!

Nice employees and great location, but that's it for the good part. The toilets were small as you expect for a hostel, but one of the three had its shower head holder thorn out of the wall and another was filled with small insects and some type of fungus in the corner, leaving the shared bathroom with one decent shower (men's bathroom, don't know about the women's). The rooms were quite small which wasn't unexpected either yet if you stay there, try to get a room with a window, which most rooms don't have as the rooms are rather humid. We had booked about 8 rooms and the greater part had bedbugs and the mattresses were covered in mold. I will definitely not stay there again nor recommend the hostel, though I would look for another hostel/hotel in the great neighborhood.

For a hostel which is priced cheaply in Singapore this is perfect and just what you expext. The beds and rooms are very comfy, the terrace on the roof is nice with a view. The only downside is their aren't many toilets and showers. There are two toilets and showers for men and the same the other side of the hostel for women, there needs to be more because there's always a queue.

The location is good, it is near the Chinatown MRT so it's so easy to travel. The clearness is ok , not really clean but not bad. Breakfast is so simple , just coffee and bread. The bad thing is that room is so packed and you can hear all things from the room next door coz the wall is so thin so in the first night of being here I couldn't sleep well but the rest of the nights were fine.

It surpassed my expectation. It is clean, comfy. The room is not so big but the area is well organized. The staffs were helpful. It is located in Chinatown but the hostel is in peaceful area. Coffee making machine is available at the space on the rooftop. Definitely recommend
