    Started my 1st round of sessions with PT Kenny after an impressive trial. This guy is really good. He is one fitness coach who not only provides training guidance but always introduces intuitive exercises to make every workout a satisfying one: effective, fun while targeting new areas. I'm all toned and more flexible now. A dedicated PT is hard to find, will definitely continue and make it a long term lifestyle. My 5th star is with me always ;p

    I never thought I would enjoy working out until I met Kenny. He's a great trainer, extremely fun, knowledgeable, patient and just an all round genuinely caring guy. I had a whole bunch of back and medical problems, he went the extra mile to research and find out what would help me. Just after the first few sessions, my chronic backaches were gone and I could lift much more than when I first started!! Every session has been challenging and a whole lot of fun. Highly recommended!

    Gold's gym at The Grandstand Turf City is a new outlet which I chanced upon when they first open and I am a regular there. Started from trying out the trial session and really like that the personal trainer, Kenny gave me an easy to understand analysis of areas that I need to build on. Bought a package eventually ;p Furthermore, the gym size is not too big, giving you the feeling that you "own" the entire gym. You don't have to wait for weights station or benches like those bigger gyms. Give it a try, there are package for couples as well. :D

    Kenny is a great Personal Trainer: Fitness coach, nutrition adviser, motivator and friend all-in-one! He has shown me that physical fitness is possible at any age.     im a beginner & ve tried fitness apps & YT vids for weight loss & resistance training but results are slow🤔 despite working out diligently, i seem to hit my plateau, not to mention the lack of motivation. signed up with gold's gym when it opens at the grandstand. that decision changes everything after my first PT session with trainer kenny. into my fourth session & my metabolism improves a BIG leap, usual pains gone (amazing stretches), & i am all "lifted"! 🤗 my fiancee is impressed!! thanks for the coaching & tips kenny!!! can't wait for my next workout, intense yet enjoyable 😊😊😊

    My training with Cass was very pleasant. Cass is very friendly and approachable, making it easy to consult her about my concerns and goals. She customises the routine according to my fitness goals and she is very open to suggestions, often asking if there’s any particular workout that I would like to do. She was very sweet and caring during the one time when I felt unwell and prepared everything to ensure that I got home safely (and the other trainer present was quite concerned as well which I am also grateful for!). I highly recommend the gym as the atmosphere is very nice and you will be in good hands regardless of which trainer you get! :)

    My PT trainer is Kenny. This is my first time taking up personal training and I am very surprised that I managed to lose 7% body fats after 10 sessions and totally without any restrictions to my diet. My experience with Kenny is that he is very knowledgeable with all the different exercises for different muscle groups and he will customise his lesson plans following very closely to my exercise objectives. He is also very accommodating to my busy schedule when trying to pin down a date n time for the training. Overall very good experience.

    I have had the privilege to train with Kenny for about 4 months and it’s been a fantastic journey. Kenny is very knowledgeable, professional, encouraging and just an all round great trainer. During the initial sessions, he corrected a lot of my form and gave me a regime to work on during the week on my own. He also gave a lot of tips and is always sharing the hows/whys of each movement and how they all interrelate so you’re not just going through the motion of the exercises - all of which I really appreciate. As the sessions progressed, I could feel and see the progression which was extremely fulfilling and motivating. The sessions are tough but Kenny always makes sure that you are safe while pushing your limits. He also checks in on you to make sure that you’re fine after the session and is always available should you have any questions/concerns. In my short 4 months, I have learnt heaps and am in the best state in both fitness and physique that I have been in a long while. Kenny’s a great guy, very friendly and he delivers as long as you put in the hard work - highly recommended! Thanks Kenny!

    My daughter and I have been training with PT Kenny since August. Compared to when we first joined, I’ve noticed significant improvements in our stamina and muscle definition, due to his structured and varied exercise sets and advice on nutrition. Not only did we grow stronger, we also learned a lot from him as he is happy to share his knowledge. His experience in the industry has conditioned him to tell when a trainee can be pushed further, and when they are burned out. Overall very good experience, definitely would recommend.

    Trained with Cass for 2 years and she is simply the best. Knowledgeable and passionate, she has helped me to lose 10kg, keep it off, as well as maintain my muscle mass and lowering my fat and cholesterol levels. She is flexible in her approach and tailors the exercises to fit my conditions/injuries/goals, ensuring I never get bored while maximising my time at the gym. Cass always prioritises proper form and technique which encourages to progressively overload in a safe manner. She is also a good listener and the one hour training session always flies by~ As someone who never enjoyed exercising before meeting Cass, am always grateful to her for being the most approachable PT out there, helping me regain my health and fall in love with the gym!     Small gym and not too crowded which is great compared to those big gym visited by hunks and already perfect looking gym junkies, makes me feel so inadequate. Kenny knows how to push my limits and I'm seeing good results with improved cardio and strength. Highly recommended. Hope the gym will add a water cooler or filtered water instead of using cartons of bottled water though.

    My instructor Kenny is friendly yet professional. Will push you to your limits so that at the end of the session, you will feel a great sense of achievement that you could actually do it! And you will be surprised that he knows your limit better than you yourself.

    My friend recommended me to PT Kenny beginning of 2020. Initially I was hesitant but after I saw the results that my friend had achieved, I decided to give it a try. We call him our 'devil' trainer. Haha... He really knows how to push you to your limits, oh.. Maybe beyond what you think is your limit, but in a safe manner. Overall, I've achieved all the objectives that we set out at the start, including losing weight and a toned body. He is not like a typical trainer who wants to achieve weight-loss for his client and thus, forces them to go on a diet. I've just completed my training sessions with him and I will continue to go back to him after a short break (and he's not like the typical ones who will pester you to sign up more). If you are looking for a professional PT who can achieve your goals, look for Kenny, our '👿' trainer! 😊

    Been training with PT Kenny for a month and I can already see obvious changes in body. He’s incredibly friendly and extremely qualified! He also really cares and goes above and beyond to help me achieve my goals. Always looking forward to my next workout sesh with Kenny. Private gym that makes me feel more personal.     If we are talking about personal trainers, Kenny is probably the gold standard. Genuine, motivating and always giving advice and tips. My weekly tekan session although painful as it should be, is progressive and tailored. 💪

    Kenny is the PT there and I think I've found the one. At first, I was just looking for someone who is experienced and knowledgeable, a mandatory check-list after several bad experiences with clueless, one-trick-pony PTs. Kenny knows his stuff and devised a workout plan to suit my age, goals and schedule. He then monitors my progress, and constantly tweaks and innovates to improve each workout. This made every workout from the very first one both refreshing and rewarding. I really like that he listens, though he can always tell apart reasons from excuses! After a while, Kenny's personality comes through. He is approachable, easy to talk to, and always smiling. He shares great tips on diets and fitness - as a practitioner himself and not just a preacher. Before and after sessions, we sometimes share new insights on stuff we read or found on the internet and the challenges of keeping trim and fit. (Very comforting to know that muscular PTs are humans like ourselves too!) Fitness is a long journey that should never end. For people like me with no real passion in keeping fit, having someone like Kenny walk (and count reps) alongside you is a indeed a blessing.

    Been at the Grandstand Gym for a few months, and been fantastic. Kenny is great as a Personal Trainer and already seeing results. He is knowledgeable about how to target specific problem areas, and encouraging even though I started from scratch. Will definitely highly recommend Kenny and Gold Gym.

    I've been to a few Personal training classes at renown famous gym and I must say Kenny knows his stuff and the kind of food and the exact type of exercise suitable for me to the result that I wanted. And to push to the limit and yet not over the point that I might give up. I must say that comes with many years of experience and working with different clients to be able to access. Also he is well verse different type of exercise and research. In short . You will get the result u want under his training

    I signed up for a package this year in 2022 with the mindset to bulk up. I contacted via their WhatsApp number and was assigned a trial date which I knew I was going to suffer. I was assigned to Kenny who was dedicated in explaining what needs to be done to gain mass. He will inform you for dietary requirements and a workout regime to be consistent with. I started out at 66kg and I am now inching towards 72kg within a matter of 4 months (excluding my 2 weeks overseas, covid and injury from football and surgery). Highly recommend Kenny to anyone that is signing up. He will push you to the limits but make sure you have your own discipline to ensure results

    My trainer here was Kenny. There was a time I had difficulty making it early in the morning but he was very patient with me. During reps, he is attentive, not on the phone and corrects your posture readily while also having the flexibility to tweak the workout according to your endurance threshold. Between reps and after workouts, he gives detailed feedback on which workouts to try out for your needs, demonstrates them and then advises also on other areas like supplements. He is encouraging and pleasant to talk to. Overall, he’s a gem to have as a trainer and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

    Trained with Noelle for the past 6 months as I wanted to increase my stamina and lose body fat. Came in with zero knowledge on proper technique/form aside from the few tips I learned from youtube videos (which may or may not be accurate 😅). Noelle is the best. She’s extremely patient, knowledgeable and always offers great advice. She’s the best at gauging if you can be pushed further and will adjust the workouts accordingly. It also helps that she’s cheerful and bubbly. Have learned so much from her throughout the six months and I can proudly say I now know how to train on my own!! The gym is also nice and has adequate space for 2-3 pax to train concurrently - you don’t have to worry about your workout being compromised cause the trainers are really great at using various equipment to target the intended muscle groups. Would recommend anyone who’s still in doubt to just give the personal training sessions a try, you won’t regret it!

    I’ve been training with Kenny for 1.5mths and it’s been a great period of change. Kenny first sought to understand my aims and goals, and crafted a regime that was suitable for me. During each of my training days, Kenny helped corrected my form and pushed me beyond my limits in a bid to be better, and I could already start to see and feel the difference.     Update 31 Oct 2022: Had the worst experience on 26 Oct and 29 Oct when I had to share the gym with 5 other people and was confined to working out in a 60cm * 60cm space and the cable machine. I notice some trainers have the ability to "chope" space and equipments for their clients. There was only 1 set of 4-10kg weights and a total of 3 yoga mats so too bad for me even though I paid $4200 but arrived late so I wasn't able to use other equipments. Previous: Been training with Ron and I am impressed that he is able to identify my actual muscle weaknesses correctly unlike 6 other physios and spot when I am fatiguing. Had my leg strength measured by machine and it was exactly like what Ron identified with his eye. Initially I wasn't keen to do any personal training but my first 2 physios told me to engage a personal trainer. Ron doesn't push me hard unnecessarily and he really remembers the weights that I used before and will progress accordingly.

    A friend and I trained with Cass as our coach. The highlight of training was how approachable Cass was and how affordable their bundle was when training as 2 people. While I was in it to tone up and lose weight, we still talked in each session as if we were friends who just had specific goals in mind. She was also willing to share some knowledge like alternatives to sports drinks, and at home exercises that train the same targeted muscle groups outside of the sessions we did which is more than what many trainers would do. She offered free salt candy which I really appreciated, haha. I would have wished for something more hi tech or streamlined like weight/diet monitoring apps, but this can be done independently.

    We've been with Gold Gym since the start of this year (we took the highest no. of sessions). When Ron took over our file, we were extremely pleased with how hard he is making us work. My husband and I work out together so it isn't always very easy managing 2 people with 2 different goals but Ron never fails to adapt our weights or reps depending on our different capabilities. Ron is also focused on our forms and is making sure we are doing it right, which empower us to work out on our own if we want (but we still prefer having him as the coach lol). One of the other thing we like about him is that he really gives us his 100% attention - no phones during the hour session and will check in to look at your techniques. This may seem very basic but we've met coaches who do not have this fundamental. Ron is also open to our feedback and will be open to the challenges our our proposal. For eg, when we told him that we have 2 different goals (my husband to bulk up, and for me to lose weight), he mentioned to us the challenges of just doing HIIT and less strength. He proposed adding another session during the week so that we can incorporate both. Giving us alternatives instead of saying it is not possible is something we really appreciate. The coaches at Golf Gym Grandstand are good; the regime works if you work hard yourself.

Writing this review for anyone who is looking to try out personal training. PT Kun will be the PT to go to if you are looking for: 1. Committed and engaged PT who will take time and make the effort to help you understand your goals and how to achieve it; 2. Knowledgeable PT who will break down the exercises into simpler parts to help inexperienced individuals like myself to understand the exercises; and 3. Attentive PT who will take note of your limit and push you progressively and safely. 5 stars for PT Kun.

    I did a 20 Session long Workout with PT Tommy Heng. At no point did I ever feel like I was being given unrealistic workouts, nor did I ever feel like he was going easy on me. He was able to strike a balance in all the workouts will simultaneously being encouraging every step of the way. I was able to lose a good amount of body fat and in turn replace it with muscle, as well as have somebody observe and advise me on my diet outside of the gym. Overall I would say that I have definitely shifted my life into a healthier lifestyle, and believe that I can maintain said lifestyle in the coming years.

    Cass must be one of the most underrated PTs around. In just 2.5 months, I have lost almost 5kg, and my F, VF, BA and M stats have all improved consistently (ask her for the machine that does the readings). It didn’t take long for me to feel stronger and look fitter, and Cass definitely gets most of the credit with her natural ability to coach and motivate. A real bonus that she’s fun and friendly during the sessions too. I would strongly recommend both guys and girls alike to get a trial in with Cass and see for yourself. 👍🏼

    I have been training with Kenny for a few months and showing good results. I feel stronger and look more tone. Kenny is knowledgeable about his stuff and is able to make the sessions enjoyable even when pushing you to your limits. The gym is small but well equipped. Definitely worth going for a trial if you are trying to kickstart your fitness journey.

    Due to health reason on blood pressure and high fat percentage, I have decided to get a personal trainer to help me. Having an experience on 2 personal trainers before, I have thought whether it would be a waste of money and time on another one who cannot deliver result. I am really lucky this time round! Kenny is really professional and understand my problem. Correct my eating habit through mindful and conscious eating. Giving me a Sustainable program. Just 2 months, I manage to squeeze into my 10years ago jean. Blood Pressure has also gone back to normal. Thank you for giving back my health!! :)

    I have trained with many personal trainers over 20 years in multiple countries but I will say Cass is one of the best one. I have been training with her for about 6 months and my focus is on building the ideal physique using decent amount of free weights. She tailors perfect training menu for my two sessions in a week. She is very good at customizing menu for various demand from each customer such as weight control or targeted body parts training. Her instructions are not limited at the gym but she also provides daily nutrition advices depending on your goal. She is a good motivator and a fun person. She also gives me good recommendations about Netflix shows. 😄
