The main attraction is just the roof top turf which I think is not big as well. We were there on Saturday morning so no so pack with people. Otherwise it is more of seeing the view of Marina Bay only, and not much on the Barrage itself. It was pack with cyclist on the ground floor though so newbie better be careful.

I walked from Kallang Riverside Park to Marina Barrage - nice journey but forgot to wear the hat 🤣 the weather here is really hot even during 8am. Love the landscape of Singapore- really nice to walk, run and bike. You can spend time here for chilling and take a nice photo here.

Marina Barrage is a water reservoir that Barry the sea part and river part. The river part is famous for military rehearsal by driving huge long shipping along the river during national days. The sea part is make up for patrol or fual renovation for ship. This place is wonderful place at all time. Many people come there to take time with their beloved person or family. You can upload the kites. You can sleep on the green grass. If you go there in the evening , you can see the wonderful view of marina bay stand and flyer. I wanna recommend to you when you visit Singapore you shouldn't miss to go there.

Good infrastructure (toilets, water fountain, elevator...). Lots of space to run around. Close to Gardens by the Bay, easy to combine for a great day outdoors.

One of the best picnic spot i have ever visited. You will find a wonderful view from the top of this building. I suggest you to visit this place in the evening when the sunset begins. You can also refill your tumbler with free tap water here. And don't forget to bring a kite, yeah kite. You can fly your kite here and enjoy with your friend or family

It is a beautiful walk alongside water and you can also view the beautiful trees of botanical gardens. Worth visiting during evening or sunset. People can even have a small picnic over the lawn.

On a nice bright morning, this place is beautiful. You have to walk up or take the lift to the top. It is a VERY big viewing area...u hv 360 deg view of Spore skyline and the sea! Don't miss it. There is a drinks stall hidden on the ground floor. They also hv vending machines for drinks if the stall is closed. I notice not any people come up here to view. Many just miss it.

The most underrated recreational spot in all of Singapore. Has a killer view of the Singapore skyline, you can see Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer, Gardens By The Bay. Bring a picnic mat, some drinks, and fly some kites and have a good time.

One of my favorite places in Singapore. If you go on a day with the best weather then can enjoy the best mood ever (might can be crowded). I usually go here for picnic or chill. If you go during day time, then the sun might be too strong unless the day is cloudy. Quite a lot of people come here to fly kite as well. At night, if you sit facing the Garden by the Bay then can see the super tree show.

So much monies had been spent but a simple path towards toilet from carpark towards mid of this place cannot be made properly? The whole path was uneven and slanted aside. Easy for water movement? Channeling? Hopefully they could improve it. Maybe adding hand rails to assist those who have difficulties with walking.

A nice vantage point to view Singapore city centre skyline. Here you can see Gardens By The Bay Cloud Forest Dome & Flower Dome, the Marina Bay Sand towers and the Singapore Flyer. This is also a link where you can cycle/jog from Gardens By The Bay to Bay East and East Coast Park. The Marina Barrage is easily accessible by the MRT with the opening of Gardens By The Bay station.

pleasantly surprised that the mrt is so near by! don’t remember that when i came here a few years back did some picnicking with my friends. there isn’t a lot of cheap food nearby so had to bring from else where. went on a saturday and it was not as crowded as i thought, there were lots of people but still lots of space to play sports and fly kite. at night it gets pretty dark, don’t have any outdoor lightings. but the view is absolutely amazing. can’t wait to come back

A not so tourist-y spot in Singapore that you should visit if you want to relax and just enjoy the time! This place is also one of the go-to picnic places Singapore. Many locals go here to have a picnic and/or fly a kite! The structure is just amazing. You will be surprised to see a big lawn on a roof top! Very smart way of bring the buildings close to nature and maximing the space.
