Very decent coffee. They have alternative milk option which I appreciate (soy almond oatmilk skim milk). Only tried the banana cake but it was good, only a tad too sweet. High ceiling room, with a lot of air circulation. Industrial decorations for the wall and floor. Love the environment and the vibe in the cafe. They limit seating max 2h. Did a bit of work and found it as a good place to focus despite the hustle bustle around us. Friday afternoon can be a bit busy especially around 3pm. Quick service and you can just order from your table. Very efficient. Will come back.

Great location, very spacious inside, great food and coffee. I normally order the full breakfast dish whenever I go to brunch places. A friend recommended the beef kimchi rice, so I decided to break my routine. So glad I did. This is one of the best beef bowls I've tried. Highly recommended. Their coffee is also one of the better ones I've tried.

Came here for a quick Business lunch and ordered a burger and coffee. The coffee was great but I felt that the burger was over seasoned. (Sorry no picture) overall was ok but nothing special. Service was good and there was a good lunch crowed but lucky it was not packed. Will drop by again to try other items in the future.

Totally love this place. Tuck away at the corner of Wilkie Road. A large spacious cafe suitable to work as there is no shortage of power points. Came here with a friend for breakfast and as we are not so hungry, we order their sandwich. The portion is more than enough for 1 person, I could only finish half of it. Though no wow factor, the rate and quality is good enough. They serve drinking water for free which is nice. Service is good. Overall I like the spacious environment. Some cafe is so small and cramp but not here.

Nestled within a prewar conservation shop house with high ceiling. Simple yet stylish decor. One of the better cappuccino I had in Singapore. Food portions are good & taste is spot on. Was surprised at their freshly made Beef Lasagne that comes stuffed with eggplant. Tuna avocado salad was fresh & well balanced in taste. Beef burger was moist & fries did not disappoint too. Orders were made & paid online. Love the fluffy pancakes, so light & satisfying 😋

The location and the ambience in this place is quite nice. There is plenty of room for people to stretch out and be able to do a little bit of work, But there is a 2 hour time limit. The eggs Benedict was delicious. It was light and still had lots of flavor. The cappuccino was very nice. I would have liked to have been offered some sugar for my hot drinks.

Been to the place many times and always deliver consistently. I enjoy coming here to have breakfast. They have good western breakfast options. The pastries selections are good and they will warm it up for you. Their other meal items are fancy but I didn’t quite enjoy them as much as breakfast . For example, their burger is picture perfect but just hard to eat and the flavour is so so. Overall, a great neighbourhood favourite and you also see many cyclists congregate there over the weekend. They also have many alcoholic options, so if you’re the kinda guy that like to have beer with breakfast, maybe a place for you. (Never ordered beer with my breakfast but I imagine it’s a good idea 😁)

this cafe has way too many stars for this situation - used their QR code menu via apple pay to order 1 $13 truffle fries. Order didn’t went through with a stated error. Naturally, we ordered another thinking that the first order failed. Waiter came out to clarify & ask if we would like a refund. Of course we didnt wanted 2 huge plates if fries and asked for the refund. The next moment they came out they are unable to do the refund since the order has been made. ?????? really??? then what for did you came out to tell us we had the option of a refund???? poor customer recovery. never coming back. Truffle fries were super mid anyways. better cafes around.

Great little cafe about 400 metres from Hotel Mi Rochor. Enjoyed a quality flat white and nice almond croissant. Tables have QR code menus but I got the physical menu and paid at the counter. 1 less site with my credit card information...

Wonderful place hidden behind Wilkie Edge. Not too noisy and spacious enough. Only grouse is the table are a little too close to each other and I can hear next table's conversation and vice versa. Food is good, had the pulled pork sandwich with truffle fries and a cappuccino. Coffee game is strong!

I was craving for some fluffy pancakes and I got it here! Their flat white coffee is the best! It's almost jam-packed with people even on a Sunday morning but I'm happy to get a seat and enjoyed the food here. Will definitely come back!❤️

There is a need for social distancing hence there are fewer seats. You need to better manage your seating system. Your sign in front of the shop says "please wait to be seated" but you allow people to walk in to chope seats. End up the people who queued to order food find that there are no seats left despite your signage. And your staff got defensive and angry when questioned about the system. Disappointing experience.

Love the space, very spacious, a lot of pastries and plenty of food option. Mentai mayo fries is pretty good however dip sauce quite little portion on top. Florentine is well done, salad is good too. French onion soup is really good too, however all set the toast is really hard. Love the Mac and cheese, one of the better Mac and cheese from cafes. Baby chair is available, get pretty crowded during brunch hours, further up the slope along Wilkie edge (one road down, cross the road after Wilkie). Likely be back, just not sure bout the service, staff doesn't seem very happy, either that or My nephew's clanking of cutlery annoyed them , oopsie.

Brought here by a friend to try their food. Huge space with high ceiling, comfortable and not cramped like some cafes. Food was decent, coffee was good! Strangely it doesn’t feel welcoming. Was it the staffs? I can’t pinpoint the reason but it doesn’t make you feel like sitting a little longer to enjoy the time there.

Really friendly staff, ambience is great too! Got a take away, but will definitely come back one day to dine in! Edit: Dined in for lunch — fantastic ambience, friendly staff. Only feedback would be that the food has way more potential! Service is good, no complaints about that. Price point is ok too, like any other cafes out there.

It's a nice cafe with western food. It's popular for cyclists. Look at the bike rack. The good quality is very good. I came here for a background interview with a journalist. It is too noisy when the cyclists came in. But it is mostly quiet. A very good conversation.

The ambience and the food were both lovely. Prices are about what you'd expect from a cafe of this standard. But you definitely get your money's worth the the serving portions and the quality of taste! The iced latte and iced mocha were excellent too.

The best egg mayo croissant I've tried. Crunchy, savoury and fantastically paired with it's rich creamy egg mayo. Originally came here for their pancake at 9am+ and it was already sold out, disappointed at first but glad that the other food were also top notch! Coffee was good too 👍

Located 5 minutes away from the Little India MRT stop, Twenty-Eight Cafe is a cozy spot with a minimalist industrial aesthetic. I grabbed brunch here and the smoothie bowl was absolutely amazing - a perfect pick-me up on a Saturday afternoon. Pair it with one of their coffees and you’ve got a meal that’ll make you feel satisfied!

Was looking for a cafe to just sit and do some light work and stumbled upon this cafe, can get noisy during the weekends but good thing inhad noise cancelling headphones on. One thing tho, i ordered the burger & absolutely loved it. The portions were plenty for 1 person and i love their food! Probably the best fries i tasted in my life time.

This has a great vibe for doing some laptop work, meeting with friends or just enjoying a cuppa. The WiFi works well (didn’t look for plug sockets). The fruit scone was incredibly tasty and I loved that it had been warmed a little. I also really liked that they give you a bottle of tap water first thing without you having to ask. I was a little stressed about the 90 min dining rule - it made me feel less relaxed about getting my work done and finishing my food and drink in time even though it wasn’t busy when I was there. I’m not sure how strict they are with this during the week (I went on a Tuesday) but I get that at weekends it could be required as it is a nice place with a lot of good food on the menu. Overall, enjoyed it a lot and would defo recommend a visit!

Not bad but not great either Some cafes pride itself on delivering amazing coffee and food whilst others seem to be pricey for no good reason. This cafe fits the latter category unfortunately. Its a simple cafe with simplistic decoration and serves simple food. Can’t comprehend why such places think that they can command a steep premium when neither the food Nor place is outstanding in any way. Not a place we would return to and definitely not worthy of the 4.6 stars on Google

Great coffee but super rude staff. In this period of CB, trying to support local business. Came in said hi no one responded they looked at me like some kind of alien. There was a previous guest before he was super nicely treated... Ordered my coffee said bye thank you no response again. I'll never go back there.

Great cafe for a meeting or to work remotely from - the food is great, coffee delicious, service very nice and helpful. There are some power sockets - so it’s not a problem to charge your laptop. It’s quiet in the mornings, it’s also off the main road - so it’s easy to focus and work. Very spacious and minimalistic interior - it’s one of my fav cafes in Dhoby Ghaut area. Worth a visit to see if you like the vibes.

Good food & breezy ambiance. Berry pancakes & Pig Out sandwich were delicious. Espresso has unique bitter tones- not for everyone. Skip the chai latte. It tasted like salty, slightly spiced warm milk. I actually choked it down. Nice cafe to sit and get work done. Free wifi & friendly service. Good covid precautions.

The standard of the coffee has dropped dramatically. Aroma wasn’t good. Temperature was too high. Flavour and texture weren’t good either. They say that the beans are from a roaster in Bali. The coffee and the food were really good before.

The cafe is rather spacious with lots of room. There is a row of tables beside the wall that has power outlets for those who wants to charge their electronic devices. Food is just ok though the presentation is rather well done. Do note that it is rather on the pricier side. Staffs are friendly. I came on a Sunday afternoon and the cafe saw 3/4 full. Parking is very limited but one can park at the nearby malls. The street carpark costs $1.20 per 30 mins on Mon to Sat. The cafe itself in on the ground floor of a cream and white colors colonial building and only marked by a small black sign.

A couple of months ago, i was hospitalised for 34 days due to an inflamed knee which required Surgery, and after being admitted in hospital for such a prolinged period of time, and was approaching my birthday, my young daughter wanted to get a piece of brownie to celebrate my birthday. Yet she was told that they ran out brownie, and the lady staff made a very nice and warming gesture by gifting my daughter with a piece of FOc muffin to be given to me to celebrate my birthday. We shared the delicious muffin that day, and today after attaining some form of mobility i made my way to thank the staff at the branch and have our breakfast T2 x 02 sets with nice tuna, mushroom and chicken puff. Many thanks to Kopi & Staff.

Nice airy cafe with many seats. Great coffee and small but sufficient sample of pastries. Ordered a mentaiko salmon rice bowl which seemed out of place in a western type of setting but the dish came steaming hot with a nice runny egg hidden underneath the salmon. Salmon is more on the cooked side tho.

Love the atmosphere here. The food is decently priced and taste ok. I came for a weekday lunch and it wasn't pack. There were sufficient seats and you can spot people bring their laptop to spend their afternoon. There were also plenty of PowerPoint for charging of laptops or mobile phone. It's definitely a nice place to hangout, especially for students around that area.

Superb cafe for working abs just having a good time with a cup of coffee and tasty brunch. Plenty of space with minimalistic high ceiling design. Very clean and tasty food options. You can customize your breakfast which is relatively cheaper than other western options like common man or forty hands. Coffee options are rather limited, but presented ones are descent.

The salmon rice bowl is perfect. Totally worth the price. Very good service and atmosphere! Will definitely come again.

Hole in the wall that serves pretty good food in large portions. Had the burger, and my wife had the pulled pork sandwich. The food was delicious and very filling. We wanted to try the pancakes for dessert but had no space! Came back for it another day and it was extremely soft and fluffy. Breakfast was however not very filling.

Saw someone featuring its pancake on Tiktok and decided to give it a try. Was a Monday afternoon so lots of seating. Ordered its signature fluffy pancake. Very soft ,just sweet enough. Enhanced by the berry jam, cream and syrup. Latte was good too. May come try its other dishes soon

Brunch food with good portions. Beef burger was solid, fried egg was cooked perfectly and also was topped with a truffle Mayo sauce. I was actually pleased with how the price ($22) already included this 2 items, whereas most cafes would just put a beef burger price and do a $1.50 for fried egg and +$1 for truffle Mayo sauce. Had some quite odd tasting coffee in the past few cafe outing elsewhere, so this came closest to one I enjoyed in awhile. Soufflé pancake for dessert was light and airy, didn’t quite enjoy the berry compote as it was too sour for my liking. Cafe setting was simple and minimal but noticed there are quite a number of powerpoints which i assume meant that it’s welcoming to customers looking to study/work for extended periods.

i cannot recommend this place enough!! issa very nice place to hangout, draw, or study. quite chill, so bring a jacket if you’re easily cold ☃️ charging ports are everywhere and the price for the food and drinks is lower than most places !!

Nestled at the ground floor of a building with lots of character, it inherits a lot of that too. Plenty of seats and open early for the office crowd. Too bad no pets allowed. Limited street parking but plenty around within 5 min walk

Below average food. Pancake was too dry. Berries that served with the pancake were sour. Egg was over cooked. Food was served cold. Average service. Good place to chill, but I wouldn’t recommend coming here for the food.

The ambiance of the cafe is good, there are many power plugs on the wall so a good place if your looking to study! The food to me was a so so, i had the crabmeat pasta, it was okay 🤣 the pancake looks good, first impression is very stiff but the inside is quite fluffy and really filling, but then again is not fantastically good 🤣 i would say its most worth if you are planning to go there to study but do note they close at 5pm!

Not bad in terms of coffee and ambience. And it seems like they allow for people to use their laptops. Can be a little noisy when there are more people since this place produces echo.

Every time I visited, I have been given excellent service and food. Love the brunch time here on Sunday, atmosphere is relaxed. Tried their souffle pancakes, french toast, egg breakfast and coffee, and I was so happy! One of my favorite places!

Ambience is good with good space and high ceiling and large windows, allowing nice soft sun though it the afternoon. Comfortable background music. However the coffee standard isn't great. Can't really taste the coffee in the flat white and the drink is not hot enough. Have not tried the food here, so can't comment.

Hidden along the street and away from the maddening crowd is a clean but noisy cafe. The decor is simple, but the serving is quite generous. The pulled pork sandwich on sourdough is really good. The sourdough is toasted and is crusty. The early grey strawberry I ordered was really refreshing! Check this place out!

Food was great and service was efficient. My katsusando was huge and delicious. Iced latte was strong. Can get a little noisy because of the bare bones, industrial decor.

Huge space in a quiet corner of Wilkie - great for lunch with friends or getting some work done. The fries were 💯 and the fish very nicely cooked. The coffee is only okay, but the food makes up for it.

Got there early and had breakfast before we work from cafe! :) 1. Food was great! See photos :) 2. Only downside was we were given a cup with lipstick mark, quite worried about the cleanliness and hygiene. Got 2 mosquitoe bites as well :( 3. Overall was good, love the Indian Churros :)

Eggs Benedict (1/5): It was a disappointment. I can’t taste the hollandaise sauce at all. The eggs are too cooked and the spinach(below the eggs) was cooked. The bread tasted like those butter bread from western store in Kopitiam. I totally do not recommend ordering Eggs Benedict here. Common Breakfast (4/5): Portion was huge. Ingredients were decent except for the corn, could use sweeter one. Scrambled egg was nicely done but salt and pepper were only given upon request. Coffee (4/5): Flat White and Mocha tasted decent. However, the drink were not hot enough (you know the perfect coffee temperature). Overall: There is a dining limit of 90 mins and it’s free seating. You could order from your table with the QR code provided. There are plenty of plugs around the store if you want to charge your phone or laptop.

Situated in a quiet part of the Mount Sophia area and housed in this beautiful heritage building, Twenty Eight Cafe features a range of all-day dishes, pastries, coffee, and other beverages. Went during brunch time on a weekday and the place was quiet with a couple of other customers. Ordering and paying is via QR code unless you're having it to-go. Ordered the Pan Seared Chicken Breast, Smoothie Bowl, Ham & Cheese Croissant, and the Egg Mayo Croissant - all were great but wished the serving sizes of both the chicken breast and smoothie bowl was bigger especially for its price. Ordered the Long Black both hot and cold - very good! Dining time is limited to 90 mins so might need to take this into consideration. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and the store atmosphere and ambiance was very cozy and relaxing. Would recommend this especially if you're not tied to a budget.

I recommend the fluffy lances and the signature main breakfast. It is expensive but I think it’s normal Singapore brunch/breakfast pricing. It’s interesting the main breakfast doesn’t come with beans but I think it was a more healthier type by substituting with a tomato salad. Really delicious pancake though! I like the atmosphere of the cafe, it’s big, spacious, relaxed and a good location too

Nice cafe, food was nice. Had the pulled pork sandwich which was definitely a winner. Hard to find a really good quality sandwhich in singapore. The atmoshpere just lacked a little bit is my main complaint, but that wont deter me from going back. Worth a visit. Note, limited parking close by so be prepared for a few minutes walk.

Nutty coffees that pair well with milk. Banana chocolate slice is moist with ample chocolate chips. Warm salad has kale, eggs and a savoury lightly tangy sauce that works well with the toppings. Steak and eggs looking really sad because I opted for no bread and potatoes. Was thinking they would have replaced the two with egg or something, but no, the two were simply absent, with no replacement option and with no reduction in price. Steak was nice though. Pulled pork sandwich, well flavoured pulled pork. Truffle fries on the side. Pretty big cafe, quite crowded. Ordered via qr code and paid online. Speedy and good service. Food is a litte pricey (especially when you choose the options to not have something, considering there is no replacement). Check IG peace.joy.hope.love.faith.eats for more photos!

Had a flat white and a salmon egg croissant. The coffee was on point and at the right temperature for me. I loved the croissant. Crispy with fluffy eggs. Total bill was higher than expected though.

The place has really chill vibes and makes for a very good Saturday brunch. The fish and chips I ordered had very crispy fries but the fish batter was very chewy and unpalatable. I ended up leaving the batter and only having the fish. Since I enjoyed the ice latte and the food my friends ordered were good, I give it a 4 stars. Friends ordered pasta, pancakes and eggs benedict.

Lovely cafe with great wifi and plentiful power plugs. Suitable for catching up with work on your laptop. I was there on a weekday morning, so the crowd wad rather quiet. I reckon it will be busier in weekends, so it is not so suitable to sit there for too long. Food is reasonably priced too. Had a chai latte and avo toast. Will revisit when I'm in the area again!
