👍👍 One of the best cinnamon bun and butter horn (cinnamon croissant) I have ever tasted. The price is very affordable too! $3.50 each. The place is small and cozy and has a very delicious bread smell. Love the ambiance and will be back to try more pastries! A classy bakery with a fine elegance of their own. Their bread are priced on a slightly higher side, it taste great. Very cosy environment. If you are taking away do remember to heat up! Follow the instructions on the paper bag. I highly recommend to visit to try. Prices of bread starts from 3.5 and above. Still a wonderful place to visit on a weekend.

** Below average pastries and coffee, nice cinnamon buns but ambience and service could be improved ** I have been meaning to try this bakery for a long time given the reviews, but I didn’t particularly like what I had. We tried one americano ($4.5) and one flat white ($5.5) - both below average. The raspberry croissant ($4.5) was an almond croissant - I couldn’t see or taste any raspberries. It wasn’t very flaky but on the bright side it wasn’t too sweet. The croque madame ($17.9) was unremarkable and the ham used didn’t seem very good. We also had a cinnamon bun to go (the only item I’d suggest having) and one plain croissant ($3.5) that was nice but not as good as the one from Dolc or the one from Keong Saik Road from across the street. Regarding ambience and service - You must order inside - the ambience does not seem great as the store is dark and messy (you can see boxes stacked against the wall, flour on the floor, etc.). We sat outside and I didn’t find it very comfortable as the fans were off and cars were literally parking behind you and you had to move to let people get in/out of them.

Online orders with delivery fee is very reasonable ~$6. The prices of food are also very reasonable for the quality of food they supply! They have many available delivery slots which is good especially when I made them last minute. And when they are expecting delays in delivery, they personally send a message to inform in advance! Customer service 💯! Cafe ambience is good, love the breakfast food. Thanks Bread and Hearth for the quality in food and service! Such a rare gem! Highly highly recommend all their pastries! 😋

I like Bread & Hearth. Not only the food is nice but also the service is good. When I did not know how to input the promo code, I approached the staff, Ann & Winnie. They were helpful & patient to explain it to me. Winnie also ensured that the personal messages for my two friends were carried out to my liking. The gift packs which I had blessed to 3 families told me the croissants were yummy & the packaging beautiful. Highly recommended!

Really amazing bakery goods. I tried the cinnamon roll and the plain croissant and both were excellent. The croissant was buttery, flaky, and had a great texture. I think it's hard to mess up on a plain croissant, but it's also difficult to perfect. Meanwhile, the cinnamon roll was made perfect—not too doughy but just enough. The icing was sweet, but there wasn't too much of it. Definitely recommend.

Hands down one of the best pastries in the area. Their sausage rolls are heavenly and always sold out early (I have to go there before 1 pm to catch them). Their croissants and quiches are also amazing as well. Do try their main items as well, like the lemon chicken sandwich or their big breakfast. Whatever I have tried here have not failed to be a delight! I live here and have tried many bakeries here. I personally prefer Bread and Hearth's pastries over others like Keong Saik Bakery. Although between Tiong Bahru Bakery and this, I can't decide, haha.

Actually it’s my first try on this shop but oh my… I’m wondering how did I missed out this place previously?? I was hoping in getting some sourdough but there were limited choice when I reached there around 12pm on a Sunday. So after several minutes of considering, I ordered a raspberry croissant to go. I air-fried again before eat it at home. I must say it’s a good piece of croissant, not too oily butter and the raspberry crust is just thrilling. I like it much as the texture airy croissant, decent raspberry filing & the raspberry crust, makes it a perfect piece. Not too sweet and over buttery. I think I shall go back really soon for more.

Tons of bread options to buy here. Small and cramp but it's popular with the locals. The sandwiches portions could have been better.

One of the best bread I had in Singapore! I got an iced oat milk latte with avo toast. Both were good. You can choose how you'd like your eggs to be cooked and what protein you'd like! There's a variety of other bread and pastry on the counter you can have it to go as well! Will be back to try the others!

Had been looking forward to try this place out for quite a while. Visited in the morning for breakfast, atmosphere was good with soft music. Everything looked really good, but it was a pity somehow the food didn’t meet my expectations. The vegetarian sandwich which listed portobello mushroom as the first ingredient after ciabatta in the description, had just 1 mushroom (probably less) cut into 2-3 slices (see pic with the black slivers of mushroom which was all there was) , in addition to said tomatoes/ cucumber/ rocket leaves. I believe was some attempt was made to toast the ciabatta bread but it wasn’t crisp or warm. Given that the sandwich isn’t expensive (vs other cafes), and I’m quite particular about bread, I’m not sure if I was not supposed to expect much but these are just my honest opinions. The sausage roll was decent. It was served as it was (not heated up from the counter), and we then asked for it to be toasted, which turned out only slightly warm without much flakiness or crisp. Might be better if it was toasted more. The peach danish was also decent with a lemon cream filling that wasn’t too sweet. This was probably the most enjoyable of all that we tried. Service was not bad, but could do well with a smile or slight enthusiasm for a Saturday morning. In all, I might pop by to takeaway the pastries if around the area, but I would not get the sandwich again.

Excellent bread and croissants. My new go to neighbourhood bakery for croissants. Brunch options are also good and the prices aren't as steep.

Very good croissant with the right mix of butter, crisp and softness! Lovely looking pastries as well! Just one star lesser coz they used plastic cups for our lattes even when we dine in… wish they were more environmentally friendly… and all drinks always taste better in proper mugs/glass!

Very satisfied with the food and drinks. I do recommend the tortilla. Matcha latte same level as starbuck - does not disappoint but not super special. Unfortunately for us, there was ongoing reno 2 doors down during our visit (indoor full), so there was intermittent smell of paint.

Certainly not the most conventional avocado toast, and ironically it seemed that avocado was the minority on the plate, but it was creative and tasty. It’s the sort of dish that has me curious to come back and try more of their menu. The chocolate almond croissant was properly buttery and bonus points for serving it warm.

Bought a variety of breads and pastries to try and these are amazing! My favourite was the cinnamon roll which was so soft, it felt like I was eating a cinnamon cloud. It wasn't too sweet either which I liked. I also enjoyed the country loaf! Chewy and soft with a great crust. Made some pretty good sandwiches with the bread! I also loved the fluffy olive bread! It was so good, you can eat it on its own. Glad to know they have an outlet in the east which I can go to.

fresh out the oven, the croissant doesn’t have enough buttery taste that a proper french croissant requires. It reminded me of eating bread. Just a tip for your baker, bring one of your croissants and eat it side by side with the one at So Good bakery at 100am which is 5mins away. You will know

My favorite Lemon chicken sandwich in Singapore. I ordered the lemon meringue tart too, but it disappointed me as the crust was very soft. One cut in and you know something is wrong. I am guessing it didn't sit long enough in the freezer and the custard was too moist. Will stick to ordering the savoury sandwiches.

I had fish & Chip and latte for lunch at this cosy cafe. The fish is chunky and delicious. Latte taste better than starbucks. Very satisfied customer.

The cashier said the Legendary Croissant is good so I ordered it. Frankly, I wonder how is it legendary. It tasted good because of the croissant but not the ham, which was ordinary for the price of $15.90. Just takeaway the croissants, so buttery and flaky.

Good big breakfast, the bread that came with this is good. Gourmet beef burger's brioche bun looks a bit odd because my partner and I expected a smooth bun and not a sad dry looking one, it tastes good regardless. No pictures for these two dishes because we were too hungry 😂 Banana and blueberry crepe is great! Wished it had more chocolate on it though. Had to minus one star for the service. A bit slow and not attentive when customers are at the cashier to order. Do improve. We'll be back if we're in the area

Friend sent us a gift set of pastries. It looks good but boy oh boy, the first bite and my reaction was like, “oh wow, this is really good.” Since then, I probably has spent over $500 over many orders either to satisfy my bread cravings or sent to friends. Yup, it’s that good. They must be using some magic flour. Every bite. So good. I love the peanut butter bun and cinnamon bun the most. If you know of any bakery as great, please comment here so I will visit. But till then, this remains my (only) favourite bakery on the island

When I received my order, the croissants were still warm! Fresh, fluffy, flaky, light... simply delicious! Looking forward to teatime today when my family will enjoy the almond croissants, sausage croissant, bacon brioche, and Yuzu loaf. 🥰🥰🥰😋😋😋 Very speedy response from service staff & great service. Thank you Bread & Hearth!

It is a small cafe that brings fresh Aroma of pastries to you once you open the door. The rows of bread and pastries at the counter makes it tough to pin-point what you would like. There are breakfast selection as well so I will say it’s a decent place to go for brekkie or brunch.

I don't often write reviews but I have been using this cafe as my go-to study spot to prepare for my big final exams! The food here is amazing (I especially enjoy their salads) and the pastries are great to munch on as I work (get the peanut butter crunch bread!). The staff is super friendly too, especially Gillian who is usually there when I go! Would definitely recommend this cafe!
